3 New Certification Exams for VCAPs and VCAs Are Here!
Having exerted every effort to improve its Certification program, today VMware introduces three more exams! It’s a staggering event, isn’t it? Two VMware Certified Advanced Professional 6 Exams and one VMware Certified Associate 6 Exam are available from August 27, 2016. And if you choose one of them, becoming a certified professional is only a matter of time.
It wouldn’t be exaggeration to say that your proficiency level increases every time a new VMware certification is earned; however, these three exams differ from each other. And we are going to examine the details of each one.
This exam verifies your knowledge and skills required for implementation of a vSphere 6.x solution, including deployment, administration, optimization and troubleshooting. Its duration is 190 minutes, and it consists of 27 questions precisely. Here you can find more detailed exam description.
If a candidate tries his strength passing this exam, it will be a great challenge for his skills and abilities in implementing a VMware NSX 6.2 solution, including deployment, administration, optimization, and troubleshooting. Lasting for 190 min in whole, the exam has 23 questions, and its details are available here.
You can now schedule these exams at participating PearsonVue testing centers, and they will also be offered for 50% off at the onsite Certification Exam Center at VMworld 2016 (US and Europe).
As for this exam, it will test you on your skills and attainments detecting technical requirements for managing a VMware vSphere 6 environment and aligning them with the technical products and solutions that meet those requirements. It takes approximately 75 minutes and includes 50 questions.
After 1V0-601 exam is abolished on 30 September, 2016, a new exam with number 1V0-621 will include some additional objectives around more technical expertise with the products. If you look through the objectives on the web site, you’ll see the more technical ones have been added, as well as training resources, including Hands-On Labs, that will provide you some of additional exposure.
This online exam can be taken at your convenience from your own laptop.
Which one of three exams will you choose? We look forward to your comments!
