1. Step 01 – Get Ready – Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer Certification

Welcome back. Congratulations on completing all the important content sections of this course. I’m really, really excited that you spent so much time in this course and you are finally here in this app. Let’s look at how you can get ready for your exam. The first thing we would recommend you to look at is the home page of the certification. We are doing the Ace certification or the Associate Cloud Engineer certification in Google Cloud and the direct link to it is CloudGoogle. Comcertification cloudengineer. You can also do a Google for Associate Cloud Engineer certification and this is where you’d land. What I would recommend you to do is to spend some time on this specific website. You can look up the exam overview and also the exam guide which is present in here.

I would recommend you to spend some time we will discuss the important facts which are present in here in the subsequent steps as well. But I would recommend you to spend some time and get familiar with everything. So that’s first the home page and the exam guides, those are two important things that you would need to mandatory look at in depth. The next important thing is if you’d want to do a sample test, a practice test, Google Cloud already provides that for you. If you go in here, you can see sample questions in here. So you can go to sample questions and you can actually register and you can look at the sample questions. It’s a set of 20 questions which are really, really good. I would recommend you to try that practice test as an evaluation of your preparation for the exam.

The practice test would help you to evaluate what are your strengths and the weaknesses. And if you find any weakness, what I would recommend you to do is to repeat that section of the course again. So use the sample test to judge the readiness for the exam. And the last important resource is how do you register for the exam. The best place to find help regarding how to register for the exam is to go to the FAQs.So Certification FAQs is a great place to go. You can go in here and you can scroll down and you can go to resources for your online and in person certification. And this is where you can go to registering and scheduling. There are a lot of other topics on which you’ll find help here, but this is something which is specific to registering and scheduling your exam.

At this time of recording the course, you can actually do it at the test center or you can also do it remotely from your home. So you need to go to this specific website and you need to register. And once you are ready, you can use that user ID and password to log in into your account. And inside there you need to go to the link register for an exam. You should see a list of certifications. And right now we are working on the Associate Cloud Engineer course. So you need to look for Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer Certification course in there, and then you can go ahead and select your preferred exam date, time, and testing center location. Once you make the payment, everything will be finalized.

I would recommend you to spend some time over here so that you understand everything related to registration and scheduling the exam. Now, before we go on to the next step, one recommendation about scheduling the exam. I typically schedule exams in the afternoon. I know a lot of people feel sleepy in the afternoon, but I feel like if the exam is in the afternoon, it would give me sufficient time to get mentally ready in the morning. And then it also gives you sufficient time to travel to this test center if you are taking it at a test center. So if there are any lastminute preparation that you want to do, you get time for that, and then you can go ahead and attend the exam. In the step, we looked at some of the important resources related to the Google Associate Cloud Engineer Certification.
