1. Dynamics 365 For Financials Overview
All right, so, welcome to this new module. In the previous modules, you have learned about the CRM capabilities of Dynamics 365. So you’ve learned about the sales, you learned about the marketing, which is the base that comes with CRM. You have learned about the field service, and you also learned about the project service. Now you have the fair understanding to get started, right? There are a lot of things that goes in detail, but in this introduction course, I’m going to give you the basic overview of everything. So now you have understood the CRM functionalities CRM aspects. Now it’s time to understand the enterprise and financial level things.
So the next module is Max Dynamics, 65 for financials. And in this video, I’m going to explain you, that what Dynamic 65 for Financial is. And in the coming videos, I’m going to explain you and show you the application, how you can use it. So, Max Dynamics, this type of financials is a suitable solution for small and medium sized businesses who wants to manage their finance, sales and purchases. And it includes finance, sales, purchasing, and inventory journals. So, complete inventory management is not available. Only thing is finance.
You can manage your chart of accounts, account schedules, you can create your journals, you have complete sales process from sales quotation, sales invoicing and payment. You have purchasing, you have complete process of purchase, invoicing and returns. And you can do inventory journals. And it has a separate sign up process. It means whatever we have signed up previously for Dynamics 65, that is CRM functionalities. It’s completely different.
So again, we need to sign up for Dynamics 365 for Financials. I’m going to show you the step by step process as well. And you can only use your business email address. It means yahoo Gmail hotmail. These are the email addresses not allowed to sign up for Dynamic 65 for Financials. So, this is applicable for entire Dynamics 65 applications. And it’s a complete cloud based solution. So once you sign up, you can get started immediately. You don’t have to install anything on your premises. And you can manage your entire finance sales purchase in the cloud with Dynamics 65 for Financials. So, that’s it for this video. 2. Register For Dynamics 365 For Financials
Alright, so welcome to this training video. In this video, you will learn how you can sign up for Dynamics 65 for Financials. So, let’s jump into that. So, before I teach you about signing up process, let me tell you some of the basic things you should be aware of. So, you get 30 day free trial with your business email and phone number. So you need to enter your business email address and phone numbers. So yahoo. Gmail, hotmail letters, mail all these email addresses won’t work. You need to have your business email address and you don’t need any credit card. It means you can use the application free for 30 days without paying anything or without giving any credit card details. And when you start using it and you find that it’s a nice solution for you, you can convert the free trial to paid subscription anytime you want. You can cancel anytime, but it’s important for you to understand and read all the Dynamics 65 agreements before you can purchase the paid subscription.
The cancellation fee may be applicable because in case if you have a paid subscription and you want to cancel it in between that, charges may apply similarly to Dynamics 65 CRM functionalities, you get access to Office Admin Center. So Office 65 Admin Center is given for you to manage your licenses and users. So this is the basic things you should be aware of. So let me show you how you can sign up for Daniel 65 for Financials trial. So presently, it’s available only in USA and Canada. And in case if you are outside US or Canada, then you will not be able to sign up for Dynamic 65 for Financials. And for other countries, the partner access is available. It means if you are a Microsoft partner, then you will be able to access Dynamic 65 for financials application.
All right, so let me show you how you can sign up for Dynamic 65 trial. All right, so here we are in Dynamic 65 for Financials page and you can see order, sell invoice and report from day one. It means you can start it quickly. So if you scroll down, you will see all the information and there you can get started for free trial. You can just click get started. And again here you need work email address and phone number. So if you are in US and Canada, you can register with your work email address. And if you’re outside USA and Canada, and if you are a Microsoft partner, then you can use your email address here. So I’m just going to enter the email address and the phone number and I’ll just click Confirm. So in this case currently, I’m using already this email address for other services of Dynamic 65. So I just click on sign in and it will automatically use my credentials to sign up for Dynamic 65 for Financials.
But for you, you might need to set your password and give the verification code, right? So I’m just going to click sign in. And here I need to enter my credentials. So you will get the sign up page, you will enter the verification code and sign up. And then you will be in Dynamic 64 Financials. So I’m just going to enter the password and I will just click sign in. You’re almost there. Just click start. And now it is going to set up Dynamics 65 for Financials for me. So here it is, now it is starting Dynamics 65 for Financials and it will show me the dashboard very soon. And here we go. So in case if you want to get started with the process and sample data, you can just click Get started and it is going to give you the step tips. Two step by step process. So it says this is a navigation pane and it is how it shows you click Next. And tip two is let’s jump into this. So it asks you to click on this item.
So I’ll click on items. So here you can see the items and the tip is the products are there from Sell. From the item list you can search for product. So I’ll just say okay, next. And to go back to the screen you can just click on home. So I’ll just click on the icon and it takes me to the home page. And also you can see the activities from the real time key figures. You can see it shows you that okay, you can click on these and you can see that I’ll just click Next and other business key reports. You can see all the reports on the right hand side and finally the ribbon.
You have different options available. So when you click on Action, you can create quotation order, you can create purchase invoice customer, vendor, everything from there. And this is the actions you can do. I’ll just click done. So now this is it. It gives you the complete step by step process on how you can get started. So I’ll just click, I’ll just close this, okay. And here it is, the dashboard. So this is a way you can sign up for Dynamics 312 for Financials.
You get 30 days of free trial and you can start using the application. So it has a sample data and you can play around with that and enter your data to just see like what kind of reports you’re getting, what kind of dashboards you can see. So in the coming module, I’m going to explain you the important terminologies in Dynamics Three type of financials. The process flows as well as I will take you through the application step by step.
