New CompTIA Access Levels Bring You More
Are you CompTIA’s registered member? Congratulations, you have just become a Premier member! Now, what does this mean?
A few days ago, CompTIA has introduced the new way to access its educational materials, industry research, news and exam preparation tools, basically making most of its materials available to everyone.
Announcing the enhancement during at its annual members meeting held this week in San Diego, CA, CompTIA has launched a new open access model. Here’s what is implied:
1.The company introduces a FREE “registered user” level. It provides individuals with access to high-quality channel education, industry research, news and tools designed to help channel partners achieve their business goals.
2. CompTIA has enhanced and expanded its membership tier, which is now called “premier member”. It is available only to solution providers, vendors and distributors, and companies serving the IT channel. CompTIA premier members receive exclusive business tools and priority access to all of CompTIA’s research, training and education resources. All current CompTIA members automatically receive premier member status.
3. A re-designed, mobile-friendly website that will go live in June 2014 and make it easy for registered users and CompTIA premier members to find what they’re looking for, engage with CompTIA and interact with others within the association.
“The IT industry is changing rapidly, and channel partners, as well as IT professionals, business owners and consumers, are eager for real-world insights and resources that will help them make more informed decisions and offer guidance on the future of IT,” said Todd Thibodeaux, president and chief executive officer, CompTIA. “CompTIA is uniquely positioned to be that voice and resource, which is why we’re opening up the vault to registered users and introducing greater exclusivity and value for our members.”
