I thought that HSRP NEEDS a virtual address on ALL the routers in the HSRP group??? Option A.

Valid: vtp pruning isn't necessary, nor ip default-gateway in lacp-rstp lab. Be careful with d&d voice, routing, video, etc. The question is about priority, not cos value, so the routing isn't the first option

Still valid, no problem.

Some notes:
- AAA simlet: if you configure dot1x port-auth on different interface by mistake, there's no way to delete from the interface config. "no dot1x" doesn't work, neither default interface.
- LACP+STP: to configure VTP pruning, you need to configure VTP domain first
- LACP+STP: switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q on SWITCH-A int range fa0/3-4 doesn't work. don't worry about it. it works on the new SWITCH-B, though.

still valid got 2 new guestion, in lacp you need to play hard as switches do not configure like in physical switches but you need to check config and type few times the same thing - probably the cisco way.. Good luck

In the simulation lab LACP with STP sim 2, it is asked to configure VTP mode of switchB same as switchA. But it is configured in the transparent mode. also Vlans have been asked to be created on SwB but are created on SwA.. can sm1 please clarify. Thanks in advance :)

this dump is 101% valid.i just passed today this exam. thanks to boomish.u rock man. want to share few things with you guys that might help you to prepare. as you can see i other comments also there is problem with lacp sim. it is still the same. i tried every way possible but unable to sort out. even i apply commands on each interface one by one. it took 1 hour to figure out but unable i sorde 50% how i also dont know. but i tried lots of things.
2nd trick thing was in the lab for radius server. the aaa new-model command was disabled. you can not add host server with ading aaa new-model . other dont forget no switch-port in eigrp other wise it will not work. the labs were LACP, MIS-EIGRP,RADIUS-SERVER. i only prepared boomish and it was enough. also note that in eigrp for host h1 you need to add two time the ip address. first time it was not working though it was added. dont forget to check when you finish it is pinging the server or no. if not pinging add ip address again it will work. best of luck

For those that have taken the exam, is the "?" help command available?

Passed with 989. Dump was 100% valid I only got that one floater question that was different and the really odd thing was 3 of the 5 answers to that question were the same!! The Labs were AAA Dot1x, MLS_EIGRP and STP and LACP 2.
The LACP was the hardest due to the buggy nature of the sim. I had to do a NO Switchport mode access to get the switchport mode trunk to work. and it seemed like not all the commands issued in the port channel were not passed down to the members of the channel group. i.e. native vlan and shut, no shut. So if your trunk isn't working make sure your channel group members are not Shutdown!! Good luck to eveyone!!

In lacp stp sim i tried to put interfaces first in channel and then tried switchport mode trunk but it wasn't trunking . so i changed config by first puting interfaces in trunk and then create etherchannel and it did come up i got 100% in that so make sure if your portchannel is not comming up i would suggest remove interfaces from port channel and put them in trunk and then create etherchannel i will work for sure. Make sure i found some new confusing options but was not that much difficult. For simulators
USE GNS3 for LACP STP results are useful (LACP works in ON mode only)
MLS eigrp - packet tracer
AAA - there is nothing you can do for this one you gotta mug it up or may be u can use it on GNS3 but still vlan access map was not working on GNS3 ..

Passed this exam yesterday 2012/11/08, this dump is 100% accurate.
i receive LACP question but no matter what I did the etherchannel just doesnt come up. It keep prompting native vlan missmatch, after i change to vlan 99 or vlan 98, the vlan missmatch no longer prompt but the etherchannel is still down (show etherchannel summary).

Here is few updates for LACP sim in case you want to understand the answer:

Left Switch
-no configuration on interface
vlan 11-13 doesn't exist.
none of the vlan exists:


Right swtich
-vlan 99 is defined as native vlan. Named NativeTrunk I think.
-vlan 98, named Parking. lots of intefaces have "switchport .blabla . 98" including fa0/3-4. need to type no switchport . blabla. vlan 98" (don't remember exactly. But I think it was swtichport trunk native vlan 98. But if you check with "show vlan" command, you will see 99 is defined as native trunk. So you need to type "no . blabla 98" I guess)
-vlan 11-13 exists on some ports. So I think spanning-tree 1,11-13,21-23,99 root primary is correct to use on right side switch.
-I used switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,21-23,99. Didn't use 11-13 as I didn't see 11-13 on left side swtich. And I got score 989. I'm not sure if I got minus point from this question by adding 99. FYI, some ppl says 1,21-23 is correct, and the other says 1,21-23,99 is correct.

FYI, I know some of the ppl complains that there is old version error when they open up this file. I fixed it somehow. I opened it with new version of Visual Certexam on different computer, and re-saved it. And it worked without old version error on my computer. I uploaded that error fixed version today. It will be up in few days.

Studied with Cisco official ceritifcation guide & dumps of glob, boomish and Ethan.
-All questions was from this except 2 questions I guess. One was from Ethan, and one was brand new to me.
-All the options of the question were in different orders.
-"copy run start / copy running-config startup-config" didn't work at all on any of sims.

Like the other guys mentioned, Ethan's one have some questions with wrong answer, but it could be little bit up to date. I'm not 100% sure, but I think one question was from Ethan's one, which was not in boomish's. FYI, Ethan's sims are not well organized. And mainly drag & drop are wrong.

Like other guys, I got LACP sim. But it took long time to understand the answer because I couldn't find the running script of the question, and the answers were slightly different from person to person(boomish, glob, Ethan, certprepare, other websites). But I would say you can trust the answer from this dump except "vlan 98 stuff" - explanation is following

Any yes, dont waste your time with saving your config, its not possible and not necessary.

Hi All -- Dump is still valid 99.99%. I got one crazy question with same multiple options repeated three times, apart from that everything is from the dump.

Four tips for simulation:-
1. Copy run start or wr mem is not required. They specify that in some simulation, but i almost wasted 20 minutes trying various possibilities to save my config on start up in first one where they did not specify. So don't waste your time on that.
2. I got three simulations. Normally on previous exams i used to get only 2. The last one i got was around 41 st question. So be quick on questions you are sure about.
3. Three simulations i got:-
a. EIGRP
b. dot1x RADIUS
c. LACP
On LACP on the other-side of interface they had "access vlan" configured which kept throwing me mis-match error. So before yous set the link as trunk be sure to issue
no switchport access vlan XX [if acces vlan is configured on that particular interface]
[That's my 41st question of 43 and i lost time]
4. Interface range fastethernet command didn't work for me so prepare for alternatives or try configure by single interface.

I left 2 questions un answered and could not finish the last simulation. I passed the exam with 868. Good luck and prepare yourself to be quick.

I'm a little bit confused with MLS with EIGRP SIM2. Where should we configure VLANS 21, 22 and 23? The question is asking that we need to configure these VLANS in Switch B but you will notice in the answer that these VLANS are created in Switch A. The answers in GLOP and Boomish are the same. The question stated you need SWA to be the root switch for vlans 11, 12, 13, 21, 22 and 23. All other vlans should be left are their default values.
I would have think that the answer should be
SwitchA(config)# spanning-tree vlan 11-13,21-23 root primary
and not
SwitchA(config)# spanning-tree vlan 1,11-13,21-23,99 root primary. And secondly what business do I have with the native vlan? The question did not say we should tag native vlan.
And also the simulator did not accept switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q and I wasted time here with copy run start.

Took exam on 22nd October 2012. All the questions and labs in this exam where in this test

The dump is still valid I saw the questions there from Boomish but I did not pass because copy run start wasted my time.The command did not work. CISCO should let us know while is not working. The order of the answers change, I was quite confused, be careful.

One new question, something like:
¿Where you must configure SVIs? ¿Switches in Core, Distribution or Access?

Be careful in STP with LACP 2 (like sais Salih from Turkey):

switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q and int range fa0/3-4 command was not working, so you have to enter interface fa0/3 and interface fa0/4 separetely and enter switchport mode trunk command there. switchport trunk encap dot1q still does not work there, just skip it.

As Asif refered, switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q and int range fa0/3-4 command was not working, so you have to enter interface fa0/3 and interface fa0/4 separetely and enter switchport mode trunk command there.
switchport trunk encap dot1q still does not work there, just skip it.
keep in mind that vlan 98 can not be native vlan, because it data vlan on the right side of switch.

you are right!! I have also noticed this. The order of D&D is for deployment strategy and is not the CoS value ordering. Sometimes or many times they ask wrong question and answer. Be careful, even you are right, the exam will expect wrong answer that is as you mentioned.

I think packet cos priority D&D is wrong, in http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/solutions/Enterprise/WAN_and_MAN/QoS_SRND/QoSIntro.html ip routing has the highest priority.
Can anyone confirm this??

The trunk encapsulation negotiation issue relies on the switch model. Some switch models support only dot1q like 2950. The others support both dot1q and isl like 3560.

For instance, 3560 as latter model has trunk encap negotiation option as the default.
"switchport trunk encap negotiation" [default].
But 2950 does not have it. The encap is dot1q as the fixed configuration.
Even thou 2950 are fixed encapsulation, DTP makes the establishment of trunk between 2950 and 3560. The DTP of 3560 takes care of the encap to dot1q.
However, in case of non DTP mode such as "switchport mode trunk" does not negotiate the encapsulation in there and the establishment gets fail.

For instance, 2950 and 3560 are connected each other. Both switches are default configuration.
Then issued "switchport mode trunk" on 3560, the command is rejected.
On the other hand, issued "switchport trunk encap" command on 2950 then the operation got unrecognized error. 2950 does not have "switchport trunk encap" command.
Eventually, the trunk is not established.

Double difficulties are around here in same time. This means the problem determination is so though in short time if you do not know this.

The solution is that issues "switchport trunk encap dot1q" first and then "switchport mode trunk" on 3560.
And then "switchport mode trunk" on 2950. I say again, 2950 does not have "switchport trunk encap" command.

After the trunk is established, any data can go thru the link includes etherchannel protocol data.

Unfortunately, this cannot be reproduced on Cisco Packet Tracer, even if it is the latest V5.3.3. But you do not have to do that, because you have already known this issue!!

By the grace of almighty allah Clear my exam today morning with 100 % score .
All ques from glop .
5 to 6 DnD.
HSRP hotspot
3 Labs , LACP and STP 2,MLS and EIGRP 2 , AAA dot1x .
for lacp lab use glop configration and in the end enable port channel after configuring everything ,won't get native vlan mismatch error or port channel down problem .

I think with these tests, there are different versions. Some versions contain these exact questions and the sims that we have access to. Other versions contain completely different questions than these and other sims not found. Test test you get is the luck of the draw.. (I took the ICND2 test 4 times, but, when I passed I got a 973 out of 1000). The point is if you know your stuff and don't completely count on these dumps you stand a much better chance of passing the first time.

@Cahyo , can you provide us the latest questions as we are planning to givr exam in a few days.

i think what boon seng said is true, only around 15 questions from this dump, I just finished my ccnp exam and failed terribly coz I rely too much on this old dump, i will post you the new question soon

There are some other questions also in certprep do we practice for those ques also or glop dump ques is valid for MCQ ques because i think certprep have old dumps ques.
certprep is for Labs only or do we practice vtp,vlan,stp,wireless,voice etc questions also

cisco changed again? few weeks ppl saying cisco changed questions but a lot of ppl reported still same, and now Boon Seng reported he got new questions? what is going on?

These dumps are good I passed just now with 890 marks, with few doubtful questions i.e ( WLAN drag n Drop) and other few other but not many.
Network simulations are excellent explaination and all Valid.
Especially the New ones HSRP related. 1 question with 5 sub scenarios.

I received LACP simulation, EIGRP 65050, Radius Authentication.
Drag n Drop related to trunking, VTP

over all 45 questions.

Guys 1 important question. I see that in the latest dumps are only ~150 questions but on the older ones are almost 500..What's the catch?? Are the latest dumps only 150 questions, or I should also study those 500??
