HI All,
Took the exam today -passed, 191 dumps are valid.
FYI,
Just ignore the ip default gateway on SW A and SW B in LACP lab.
The lab already had Vlan 1 IP configured on SW B even tho’ the question states it needs to be configured!
I just followed the procedure provided here for this lab and all worked and I was able to PING the router IP from SW B.
Dot1x lab – did not use drop command as I felt it is not needed and the interface already had switchport access vlan 20 configured.
But i still believe we need to tweak some of the configs in LACP STP lab to get 100%, but hey at the end of the day I passed and in real life it’s different and if you do NOT understand the requirement you an always ask in real life unlike the exam, so if you are not confident in trying out different things in the exam just follow the procedure outlined here and you will pass, as some have stated negating wrongly typed commands screws the simulator!!!

@ccnp thirst, though I don't haven't seen the diagram you're alluding to I suggest you use the "show CDP nei detail" in the devices connected to the router.

I am not able to use GNS3 to practice switching labs. I changed the router to have NM-16ESW for switching capability and have tried with Cisco IOS 3640, 3725, and 3745 and am receiving the following error messge:

I have passed today with a score of 958. This dump is valid. The questions were so easy. If you are good at vlan, vtp, etherchannel, redundancy, layer 3 switching and layer 2 security you can pass anyway.

Passed today with 895 using the 191q. This is the premium dump you pay to download. It is located at the top of the page. All questions and sims came straight from it. There is one question that is wrong in the 191q dump. If you delete a vlan it does NOT put the switchport in that deleted vlan in a down state. The correct answer is it will put the switchport in default vlan. There were a couple other ones that are questionable in the dump pertaining to VTPv3. Study that dump and especially the sims and you will pass with no problem.

Please someone clear this EIGRP-MLS lab confusion who have passed the exam.
Question says
"You do not have access to RouterC" [so we are not allowed to use CLI (show run) of RouterC].

Solution says
"SwitchC(config-if)# ip address 10.10.10.2 255.255.255.0 ->RouterC has used IP 10.10.10.1 so this is the lowest usable IP address."

How can we know the IP address of port of RouterC if we are not allowed to use CLI of RouterC. Even the IP address of RouterC's port is not shown on the lab diagram.

I passed the exam 300-115 today in jeddah saudi arabia. All the questions were from 191Q.pdf file from actual tests. The labs are very much same but one must do labs carefully as there were some minor tricks to test the concept of the students which is good in my view. Best of luck all of you.

Note:1)the interface range command didnot work on sims.don't know why.so had to manually assign command to each interface.
2)the ipaddress is already assigned to vlan 1 on switchB dont know why they ask to configure it.

Some have stated LACP\STP is bit tricky.
What's tricky about it, what issues did you guys encounter please?

The Premium 191 bank and ActualTests 191 bank from 02-08-2016 are completely valid. I passed exam on 03-07-2016 with a 9xx. Lab Sim was AAA and LACP. Some of the solution steps on the LACP in the bank are not accurate. Example you need to change SwitchB to same STP mode as SwitchA which is Rapid PVST. Also am pretty sure you need to define VLANs on Switch A as well as change Switch B to Transparent VTP. If you are prepared, the differences are not bad.

I just passed it last week with a score of 890 using premium dump. I'm a network engineer and most of the questions I knew from on the job experience but the premium dump is spot on including sims. Be careful because IP's might change but for the most part it's spot on.

you can download the drag drop questions on FB... just search the 300-115. once you find the demo files download it. there are 11 drag drop questions in there! be resourceful guys.

I just sat for the exam on 1/14 and failed. I purchased the premium and used the newest 178 mentioned. Some of the questions in the new 178 (without section)are valid. 10-15 new questions were NOT in either of these dumps. Be careful. Test is only 40 questions.

I just took the exam today almost all questions were there ...
from my point of view if you do lot of pratice you wouldn t have any problem.
In my case : Be careful if you type any command you can t remove it with (no commd) some severs you can run copy r s to save your work others you can't, also you can't go backward
there's just 40 qsts if u miss a few of them you'll fail !!!

Hi Everyone,

So for the bad news first. I spent 100.00 bucks for the 193Q vce updated, and pdf, and not a single question of the updated one was there. There were about 16 questions, + 3 sims but you can find these on the Galvin VCE.


For the good news, I passed 834/1000;


Sims

HSRP questions and show commands - I answered these the same as the first time i took them and didn't focus much on the dump as this one was easy.


dot1x - same as dump however, last time i took it forgot about dot1x which I think is what caused me to fail.


Switch Company Sim

This is the sim that I deviated from the Dump. For a couple of reasons.

1. the exam stated vlan 1 has to be tagged as well. If we only do the trunk, then vlan 1 would be sent untagged.

2. the first time I was thinking of ISL, until the other switch a didn't support it, then i looked at switchA's config and realized that the native vlan was different so I changed it to be switchA to be the same. however in the task it didn't inform me to do it, and spent a lot of cycles on trying to do switchport encapsulation command and then had to rush to the other questions due to time. This time I configured it the same as last time and used dot1q and used switchport trunk native vlan xx cant remember it.

questions that I remember

1. IP Source guard protects at which layer

- I put later 3 - they had layer 2- 5


2. Layer 2 etherchannel has been configured - where would you put the ip address?

- With this one how can a l2 etherchannel have an ip address?

- so I picked put the ip address on the portchannel.


3. what is the minimum dhcp snooping bindings?

this was the same question i received last time. However i read it as maximum (probably due to me rushing for time)

- the maximum dhcp snooping bindings are 2000, but the minimum would have to be 1000 the other answers didn't make sense as they had 5K, 8k and 10K.


4. Drag and Drop

The new drag and drop was CDP vs LLDP;

CDP
– multicast destination address 01-00-0c-cc-cc-cc
– 60 seconds
– compatible with IEEE 802.2,802.3
LLDP
– multicast destination address ……..
– 30 seconds
– Inform topology change
