Scored 900/900. Piece of cake. I studied using many of these dumps, Meyers, Messer, Exam Cram, ExamPrep and an A+ Simulator I found online. Easy to find if you Google it. Has 4000 Questions AND 20 Drag-and-Drop Simulator Questions. Dozens of graphics to visually ID motherboard components, video connectors, network connectors, you name it. The guy's feedback is totally off the chart. Took me about two weeks to master it, but well worth the time!

Valid dumps gave the exam today..900 out of 900..:)..The questions were from the dumps found at exam collection.super awesome material.,some of the questions were from Cattio's dump too .there were 4-5 questions from outside but they were easy
one the the questions was about keyboard and mouse not working because the cable were interchanged, choose the following for multimedia devices which would be digitizer and touchscreen,How many pins does dd2 SODIMM variety have answer is 168 pins etc

Simulations were same as in the comments.

1) Motherboard parts arrange and mark them drag and drop where the memory ,pci card,pcsX4,floppy connector,IDE connector,SATA connection etc is.

2) Drag and Mark Pictures to the connectors HDMI ( 9 pins),serial(9 pins),Vga (15 pins),s video(4 pins),DVI etc

3)Chose minimum number of IDE drives for maximum redundancy to put in 3 bays. They options of pictures of drives are SATA 15,000 rpm,SATA 9000 rpm,IDE 7200 rpm,IDE 5400 rpm. They SPECIFICALLY ASKS to choose IDE drives so they test you if you can differentiate between SATA and IDE by looking at the Pictures , You have to choose 2 IDE 7200 rpm drives for max Redundancy as you can create Raid 1, with 2 disks and not need the third one.

4)Create a gaming Pc ,Home theatre Pc and Thick client with available configuration options.Remember that the gaming requires the Top configuration so it will be Quad core Phenom AMD,Max Ram,Max video, specialized cooling and Solid State Drive, whereas second bset things go to Home Theatre that would be dual core i5, Ram,Video/HDMI,Tv tuner ,1 TB HDD, and remaining to the thick client..

Best of luck for the exams and Thanks a ton for the Dumps.

I took the test - February 13. This dump has about 50 questions that were in the test. I got about 20+ questions that are not included in this dump.
I got questions about printer connections, what is best for laptop on a docket station connected to a hub. Some of the answers were PARALLEL, USB, BLUETOOTH, I chose USB. I got some variation of the RDP connections and port questions. Another one about what to do if after a new install the mouse and keyboard do not work. The answer was the cables were switched. Other was what of the following checks are part of the POST. The answer was RAM. Other question was how to clear the CMOS password, the answer was by resetting the jumpers. Other was what to do when disposing of a CRT. The answer was to Check applicable local ordinances and dispose of it in accordance with local regulations. I apologize, as I cannot remember the rest. For the simulations, I got the motherboard parts drag and drop the labels, The i/o port labels to match to their images and the configure the Home theater system Thick client and Gaming system. Drag and drop components for case watts, CPU, Video Card, RAM, Graphics Card, Storage, specialized component, and the RAID with maximum performance with IDE drives and minimum number of drives. Here the answer I chose was 3 7200RPM IDE drives.
Home Theater: Dual Core i5, 1TB HD, DDR3 6GB, mid-level video card with HDMI, TV tuner
Thick Client i3,250 GB IDE, DDR2 2GB, integrated video card,, Windows XP Pro
Gaming System Phenon quad core, SSD 250GB, DDR3 8GB, Highest end graphics card with HDMI specialized cooling - That is all I remember. Good luck! If you don't know the material, you will not pass studying this dump only. I pass with 869 pts out of 900 - Good Luck to all!

Having watched extensive Professor Messer videos along with regular ExamCram reading/testing, I passed this exam with an 845. That being said, I did in fact skim this exam to see how much different if was from my PearsonVUE CD the day before the test.. I was stunned to find out the questions were exactly the same, word for word.

ExamCram = This dump = Whats on the test.

This essentially proves the industry (CompTIA certs in general) are bogus and corrupt. They're generating extra funds on top of testing fees through book sales, these dumps are nothing more than confirmation of that fact.

My suggestion: Get the ExamCram book, legitimately study, you're going to experience all the same questions and even more, essentially future proofing yourself from changes and maintaining integrity while you're at it.

And about the Hard Drive sim:
I got it on my exam and answered it correctly. You guys are missing a freaking CRUCIAL detail in the question itself, this was probably the easiest sim if you actually read, which is why you're all getting it wrong. Not only that, but this question was also in my ExamCram Pre-Tests, in none sim format.

I'm not go into the details for the sake of telling people to stop memorizing exams and start reading books! Sure, you might get the job but you'll be nothing more than a mediocre hack that lives off Google and Tech Forums for answers, and that won't last in the real world.

HKTyree,

I took this SIM you mentioned a while ago. I picked 15000 rpm on alll 3 bays. I don't think this wrong either. Both 15000 and 10000 are SAS which are SCCI type form used in the server machines. From the SIM, it looked support that SCCI type as well. I talked to my IT Infrasturcture Director, who got lot of CCNA and MSCE certs., and he also picked the same like I did. Personnally, I think this SIM is the worst example ever because of unclear information.

Just took exam, test is legit. The simulations mentioned below were on there. The drives question

The Maximum HDD performance and redundancy in the fewest bays question is testing your knowledge to see you can recognize the difference between back of IDE drives from the back of SATA drives. It also test your understandings of iRPMs The question ask to pick which IDE drives with best performance should go in the bays. Pick the IDE drive with the higest RPM's for all three bays I think it was 7200rpms. Got a 900 so thanks!

Passed. I noticed 5 new questions on it. This dump is much better then the Leadtopass by Mars.
There were 4 simulations
Identify connectors and slots on motherboard.
Build 3 PC's, a Home Theater, Thick Client, and Gaming Rig
Maximum HDD performance and redundancy in the fewest bays
Identify the types of connectors

Great dump! Anonymous has it laid out good and proper. A few extra new questions are in MARS's dump which are worth paying attention to, but even with that said there are still some questions I got that were on neither dump. If you know yours stuff they shouldn't trip you up.

3 Sims a couple different

1) Maximum HDD performance and redundancy in the fewest bays. Gives you 3 bays, 15k, 10k, 7.4k and 5.4k drives to put in (can use the same). I put in all three 15k and got it wrong. Don't know if I shouldn't have used all 3 bays or what they were really asking. Really is a garbage SIM question to be honest.

2) Same mobo as people have already mention. As far as I know you get no partial credit. Missed one of or two parts on this and the entire HDD sim and nothing else and it bumped me from perfect to 828/900. Missing them hurts.

3) Build 3 PC's, a Home Theater, Thick Client, and Gaming Rig.

One of the roughly 5 questions I got not found in any dump that I remember is something about:

"A customer requires a PC technician, but that technician knows the customer doesn't like people with short sleeves blah blah blah"

Just answer the thing "Ask a fellow technician to replace you". Absolute silliness lol

Good luck! Love this site! Great reference material for those who are serious about the Certs they're going for and help relieve some of the jitters.

Feb 4, I passed with 743. I passed with that score because I didn't know any of the SIMS, didn't really care either because it's not a big part of your score, but I would say that I got a lower score than I should have is because there were like 5 questions on there I DID NOT recognize which contributed to having a lower score. Most of this dump is valid but as for those 5 questions I didn't know I would say it was just my experience only, I'm not sure if anybody else would experience the same thing. Good luck to ya!!!

This dump is 100% valid, took my exam today and pass, finished exam in less than 30 minutes. they are word for word and answers are in the exact location as they are in this dump ( choice a from a question on this dump is the same choice a on the exam)
I'm in the united states.
i got 3 simulations
1st scenario is on 2 pcs, 1 for house that plays high definition movies and 1 for office which is use for video editing etc.

2nd scenario is on RF, Bluetooth and IR, need to know the frequency they work in, the maximum distance of operation and what devices use them ( eg. headset, WAP, remote control etc.)

3rd scenario is a motherboard and you have to associate the name with the components ( eg. front panel I/O, PCI Express x16, CPU power etc. )

all the simulations are drag and drop

Thanks to whoever put up and whoever created this dump.

On to the next one lol

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to give out some advice now that I've been doing the certification tracks for a while..

Looking back, I would not waste my time getting the A+ unless your interested in just getting started in the IT field ..I was already established in IT and wasted tons of time and money on these 2 exams and regret it. Employers in the USA don't really care about the A+ unless you are looking for entry level help desk jobs. The fact that they require two tests is even more of a joke. CompTIA is just looking to make more money.

I also got the Network+ and if you are interested in networking i suggest this. Not that employers will value it very much, but studying for it really helps build a foundation for the cisco certification track. The true value lies in those. Almost every network job I've seen posted suggests that as a prerequisite.. I also suggests these over the MCITP track (or parallel with them) if you are into networking.

Hi Jess. In my opinion, go for the latest one. They are kind a like, but you know that things are keep updating specially if you talk about technology and it is always better to have a latest cert like a latest gadget ;). So go for the 80x I will be taking 801 next week. So wish me luck :)

I am planning on taking my A+ certification exam shortly. I have nearly a decade of personal experience and six months of professional experience. I've been studying for about two months now, using study materials for 701/702.

Now that the 701/702 exam will be retired later this year, I'm wondering which exam version I should sit for. Does the certificate show which version (700 vs 800) of the test I took? I'm concerned that if the certificate does show the version, that potential employers will see that as a disqualifying factor (i.e, "Why didn't she take the most recent version of the exam?").

So basically: which version should I take? The one I've been studying for or the most current one? Or does it even matter which version I take so long as I pass?

Thank you.
