Pass Your CompTIA N10-005 Exam Easy!

I was a bit dumb and only used a combination of this dump, youtube and google and this dump was about 45% - 50% correct, however I did pass, but for anyone else I would suggest at least 2 other authors dump in conjunction with this, then you should sail through no problems, but don't parrot learn. understand the work!

You may recall that CompTIA {Chapter 1 Security+ 4ed} said that performance-based questions will start appearing in the current Security+ SY0-301 exam in early 2013 (see Aug 20 2012 blog posting).  We now have some firm dates from CompTIA along with additional information.

 Performance-based questions require the test-taker to perform a task or solve a problem in a simulated environment to show that they have the necessary skills to go along with their knowledge (which is often assessed through multiple-choice questions). CompTIA has announced that the new performance-based questions will start appearing on Security+ exams beginning January 5, 2013.  Anyone who takes that test on or after that date will see these new questions in addition to the regular multiple-choice questions.  These new questions will also be added to A+ exams (220-801 and 220-801) in October and to Network+ exams on November 4.

just passed the comptia N+ exam today. got 883/900. about 80 percent of this is stil vavid. i must say EMAN is the MAN

Just passed exam now. Dump is still valid, I got 846

I wrote the exam a couple of hours ago & its sooooooooo valid. I got 846/900 - Used both Eman & Andrew. All de best !!!!!

I took the test after studying with this guide and I found it to be extremely useful. I got a 877/900. 70-80% of the questions I got on the test were verbatim from this study guide. Thanks!

I have had great confidence in this site and the material provided here since I passed my Comptia A+ two part exam not long ago.

I was very skeptical but then saw many of the questions to be verbatim/word for word.

Before I say this, i want everyone to know i am not trying to degrade the site in any way. But i want you to be aware! and use GOOGLE and do some research before you use these as your only study tool.
It is VERY IMPORTANT to know the material and have an understanding of concepts, not just "pump and dump" What happens if you are in the field and someone asks you a technical question you cannot answer since it was in the "braindump"?

Remember, these are great study tools and will help immensely getting your certification, but be aware of your surroundings and KNOW YOUR SUBJECT!

I studied this dump, along with my study book. I was doing self study, so this is highly valued for me, as I had no teacher or anyone around me to show me anything. After a week and a half, of studying the questions and the book, I took the test and passed with a 829/720. A lot of what was on the test can be found on this dump. I do recommend that you cross study and not rely on just one thing to much. However, thank you Eman, for this awesome study guide!

Took the test today and got a 900.I studied Emans and Mikes dumps(all of them).There were some questions not on the dump like a question about Clouds,make sure you answer virtual server.aside from that,dump is still valid.Thanks Eman for the dump.U da best in the west!!!

Look here people. If you want to pass this test before they update the shit, will then you better hurry. Just study all the questions about 6 times and you will be good to go. it is 98% accuate. Did my test like 30 min ago. Was using only eman's dump and I knew it like ABC but only 20 questions came up on my test and some of them where rephrased the rest 80 I didn't know but was able to answer just because I knew every term and what it's for and I passed with a score of 896/900 but after 10 min of test I was sure that I'm going to fail! I was concerned about one question, though like for two weeks, wanted to ask if I was wrong about it but never did and I think that was the only mistake I did.
My test report states that I had a mistake in:

eman's dump question number 180 A:

I think the right answer is 3 and 4 but eman's dump says it's 1 and 4 which I've selected on my test and failed this question according to the test report. Anyone else is having doubts about this question or I'm wrong?

I did the test today and I only study from this dump, and let me tell you that 95% of the questions were the same. the dump is 100% valid. 893 of 900. Do the test as soon as posible and you will pass, GOOD LUCK.

@ jin I would say +-13 questions were new. I went through the latest uploaded dumps here and neither have those +-12 questions. I would recommend you write asap while these dumps are stil 70%-80% valid

@R man: They are not talking about the TCP protocol. They mean the TCP/IP model which has 4 layers. The Network Interface Layer is the first layer in the TCP/IP model which is the first two layers in the OSI model. The first 2 layers in the OSI model are Data Link and Physical.

Shouldn't it be (E) transport? If the TCP is the Transport Control Protocol.

Would someone please elaborate on this, or if I am right, agree with me.

@ Solomon: I do not recommend waiting until the 29th. CompTIA plans to add performance based questions. Although there is no official date, they have stated that they plan on doing this before the end of September. I would recommend moving the date up. This dump is mostly valid. If you practice every single question on this dump, I GUARANTEE you will get a 900. I got an 877 and I only practiced roughly 250 questions from this dump.

@ Jin: A lot of the questions were from this dump, word for word. The questions that were not from this dump are just the same questions from Eman dump but reworded. If you study ALL questions from this dump. I GUARANTEE a 900 score. That is my experience when taking the test.

@thabang can't you do it like 5 days before October? When I was doing ECDL/ICDL I had some performance based questions, I had to edit text, save a file, use styles in Word etc. Just imagine that you sitting behind a PC and you are tasked to fix a network connection or something as would normally do at home.. It mignt be something easier and similar to this, I do not think that all this can get so difficult in couple weeks.

For those studying toward CompTIA Network+ certification, exam code N10-004, that exam will be available in English, Japanese and Taiwanese until August 31, 2012. The exam will be available in Spanish, German and Korean until the fourth quarter of 2012. The most current version of the certification is exam code N10-005.

This dump is valid. Several new questions. From what I can remember:
1. 802.3 specification.
2. A person with a wi fi not working has a teleconference in 30 mins but has a RJ45 jack - I chose use a wired connection.
3. Protocols at different levels. A question, Which protocol operates at the lowest level?
4.Know the tools you would use to troubleshoot connectivity issues, ie. Packet Sniffer, Port Scanner, IDS, IPS etc.
5. When you would uses a router and switch and how to configure them.

@Sakhile Sorry for responding this late, in case you didn't know Comptia no longer offer their exams through Prometric, they deal with Parsons VUE only, I wrote mine at Boston through Parsons VUE..the exams are the same I used this dump (Eman's) and passed..Good luck with your exam.

This is one of those questions that you have to think outside the box..I think when they were creating this question they had a Network Sniffer in mind were a Hub will not stop broadcast traffic to the sniffer. Where a switch you would need to turn on port mirroring.

I think it should be Stateful firewall and IDS. Why would a content filter protect against threats? A stateful firewall seems like a better answer.

@ john the ripper make sure you can score at least 95%. Do Vivian too and study. There were at least 12 questions not form the dumps and you need to know the osi and tcp/ip models, what level different protocols work, and get ready for some diagrams. There were no subnetting questions but people who took the test before me got some, so I would also be proficient in subnetting ( no calculator allowed). At least 3 questions about STP. Know it.

@Cyrus .I am currently reading Mike Meyers Security + 3rd edition. I am only on Chapter 5. This is my input..being in IT for 16 years I experienced allot of things.my belief is that Security+ will give you / Us an understanding /Refresh about Security but also IT Operations .like disaster recover, redundancy like RAID Arrays, diffident types of Backup schemes, Access Controls..These topics are important to know if you want to advance in your IT career and become a system/network admin or engineer.

@Eman......I don't know what could be done now but maybe in the next dump can it be corrected? Have you done security + already? Do you think the certification is worth it or only necessary if your in a "Security Job" already?

I would think so..I was reading that on July 9 CompTIA exams will no longer be available at Prometric test centers. Check CompTIA website.

Is there a difference between the company VUE & prometric ? i mean the Exams in prometric same Exams in VUE ?
