This is still a good test. The main thing to remember is to learn the fundamentals.

This dumb is NO LONGER VALID... took the exam yesterday and only about 3 questions were from this dumb, but worded differently.

Please tell me if this dump is still valid taking the test on Tuesday?

This dump is STILL VALID! Took exam on 10/31/2013 and passed with over 800!

First of all this dump is still 95%-98% valid.just passed with 880/900
exam started with 5 sims.
1). Setup Wifi antenna and security in building 1 with 3 AP's and a Wirelss bridge to the building 2 (got this half wrong, i believe)
2). AP2 was replaced, configure for perfomance.this is where u just change AP2 for -- Band G ,channel 6, 100 and full mode
3). 568B pinou on Rj45.select which color cable goes where .
drag and drop.
4). from the given pic, answer whether the RJ45 pin is crimped properly or not , and which tool was used.{2 part cable certifier question in the dump}( dont be confuse with my wording, all sims are from the dump )
5). from 3 switches, disable/ enable the necessary port. == just disable last port of bottom left switch and first port of bottom right switch.leave other ports enabled.
Note== I didn't numbered the switch in my explanation here as the number could change in the exam
A bit frustrating that this dump is neither usable for answering the sims nor it gives the correct answers for the sims ( specially the first one which isn't straight forward )

about 3 new questions.
1). which of the following the tech can use to reverse engineer malware and virus.
a. vlan b. virtual machine c. IDS d. cant remember.
But answer should be (b) virtual machine.

2). what is used for testing vulnerability with POTS.( got this wrong )
a. spyware b. butt set c. blue jacking d. honeypot ( I have verified the answer )
Answer should be (b) butt set

3). what wireless 802.11 standard can perform in either frequency
a). A b). B c). G d). N
answer is N

One weird occurrence == two questions were asked twice.exact wording in question for one of them , option for answers were worded slightly differently.
a.network layer of tcp/ip relates to which layer from OSI model.
b. 1st version --what is used for FQDN to IP translation ( not the exact question wording)
2nd version - Definition of DNS

2 or 3 question worded a little differently but easy to spot.

I used CBT nuggets, professormesser ( didn't finish all videos ) and revised this dump 3 times.
made flash cards from videos using windows snipping tool to revise on the go.

2 different answers for sim with GigSwitch and 2 Interfaces. The correct one is the second (Subnet 255.255.255.0)

Passed with 871 its dito in exam

812 scored on 8/16/13. Questions/Answers are 100% correct.

@TheFly: You are correct 1, 6 & 11 is how the 3 APs should be configured

Is it just me or is this file similar or rather the exact questions from V2013-07-25.

I dont get the AP sim. The answer says change AP2 channel to 11. but wont that interfere with AP3 since AP3 channel is also 11? so shouldnt AP2 channel be 6?
