Pass Your CompTIA SY0-301 Exam Easy!

Hello all. As I understand it, there are practical scenario lab questions in the exam. I do not see any of those lab/practical/scenario questions in this dump? Can someone describe what these question are like please? Thanks.

This is still a good dump, I took my exam on the 24th of this month and got an 861 out of 900. I studied hard for only three and a half days, Friday through Monday afternoon. What worked for me was reading through each dump, taking the practice exam, retaking the questions I missed, and not moving on until I scored well. When I took the actual exam practically every question and answer was still fresh in my mind from studying all weekend. I probably could have aced the exam if I didn't change the answers to a few questions I flagged for review. On that note, never second guess your instincts.

Passed today with 807/900. About 70% of of thses questions where in the exam word for word. Some where completely diffrent but with common sense its pretty easy. The simulations where hard, one was to comparea phone a database server and another ewas to gran implicit deny in a scenario using ip address and servers. With the dump youll pass.

Passed today with this dump 5-8 questions that were not included but I still passed with a good score

Even after the CompTia site going down last week for updates, this study guide is still good..886/900. 90 question 3 sims. Everything was word for word as seen in the study. Don't doubt it, just use it and you'll be victorious in the end. Thanks again.

Likewise just took the exam today and passed with 835. 70 questions and 4 simulations. The sims were configure a WAP, configure ACLs, list attacks with situations, and match ports. The sims truly threw me off base; this is the first CompTIA I have had with them. Once I got to the questions, I was done in 10 minutes. Use this and the other dump by Anon to prepare—this dump is very valid. I saw maybe 3 questions not from this collection. Good luck.

838/900 took the test today Jacksonville, Florida 60% of the questions were from this dump word for word but if you study this dump really good and understand the answers you will be able to pass by studying just this, good luck to you guys.

I took the test yesterday. I had 70 questions and passed with 814. I had 6 sims. I know I didn't get all the sims correct, but I know I got at least 4 of them right. Dump is still valid

Just passed with 861 in MD, all questions match word for word. 3 sims,
1. Match port # with port name 23=telnet etc
2. Check 4 log sources and identify which source has the MOST failed. IPS has failure in syslog.

My Scored is 900/900.I studied this dump only.I Had a three simulations that didn't seem to matter when it came to my score One about all the ports (drag and drop), another one about the differences about Datacenter / mobile phone and the last one was which would have the most failure logs.( Network router,firewall,IPS ,serverE) . About port they are asking for FTP ,SMTP,TFTP,TCP,SNMP,SSC.This dump is still valid.

Word for word as of 04/12/13 @ 1500 EST. Most of the answers were even in the same location. The three sims were pretty easy as well, but much like everyone else, I do not believe they count. I used this (2013-01-19.by.AnonTester.288q.vce) and the other recent one (2013-02-18.by.AnonTester.288q.vce) and scored a 900. Goodluck everyone.

Completely valid! Took exam this morning in Maryland, every question was on the exam, word for word, answer for answer. Three simulation exams were first: a question about malware/virus types, a question about the order of the hard drive, RAM, CPU, file swap, and then a question about the firewall. I scored a 900/900. Just took the exam - 900/900. I can validate that this VCE is 100% VALID! I studied NO OTHER MATERIALS (granted I have a background in security anyways) and the exam questions were word for word and even the answers were in the same order. I had 2 sim questions that were not scored (placing in order RAM, CPU cache, hard drive, swap) to ensure data integrity post breach, and a firewall configuration one. (NOT SURE IF I GOT THOSE RIGHT..doesnt tell me) but this works PERFECT!

Use the JK0 one on this site. It has about 700+ questions and most of them include all the ones from this dump + some more. I am taking the SY0 test but studying the jk0 dump due to it has more questions.

This is still valid. Scored an 881 studied for a few days. Questions all from this dump and in the same order. There are three scenarios in the actual test but they aren't worth points. Know this dump, pass the test. Took me about 30 min.

I just passed with a 896 this morning 10:45AM EST. This dump is 100% valid. I use this dump and the Study Guide from Darril Gibson (awesome book) along with Professor Messer. There was 2 stimulation on the test. One in regards to configuring ENT WLAN when your given the AAA, RADIUS, DHCP servers information. The second simulation was in regards to identifying the different types of malwares.

So as a concensus; what is everyone's estimation on this VCE in regard to exam content? Is 50% of the exam covered in this VCE? More or Less? Just trying to gauge how much faith I can place in this VCE for exam preparation.

Valid! Although there are ALLOT of new questions. I dont think I could have passed with this alone. STUDY before taking this. There were a bunch of questions word for word on there though.

Did anyone used ID10T's vce as well as this one for the test? I'm asking because his questions are so different from these and there are over 500 questions. My test is soon and I wanted to know which to use to pass.

So yesterday I commented on studying about a week and a half off this dump. I went early morning to take the test an passed 869 out of 900. If there was any questions about this dump, my score spoke for itself. I did get 3 sim questions which I answered two out of three. One about all the ports, another one about the differences about computer / mobile phone and the last one was which would have the most failure logs. I will say this studying for all three parts did help, however all of my questions came from (Section A) and when I say all I mean all word for word. It took roughly 30 to 40 minutes, and it wasn't like it was a race but once you get in the mode it was like why wait. Took my test in Rockville Maryland, good luck to all taking the test.

Took exam this morning. Passed with 853. 90% of questions on exam word for word. Only 3 simulations and I don't think I answered them correctly. The VCEs are truth. I even stopped studying the literature I bought and studied the VCE questions. It works. Thanks everyone! Doing other certs as well.

PASSED today at lunch. I was so nervous to take the test, but I am so glad I did. These practices tests are WORD for F**KING WORD perfect with the real thing. Like others have said I dont think the SIMS count. I know for sure I answered 2-3 questions wrong and I passed with 886/900 a took my sweet time final time was ~35 minutes
If you are on the fence like I was, memorize the questions and go pass your cert.

Just to add, Darril Gibson's book "CompTIA Security+: Get Certified Get Ahead" is fantastic and wholly prepared me for the exam. Now to start on SSCP.

100% valid in Rhode Island on 3/25. I didn't get a non-sim question that isn't among the 288 in this vce. I took my sweet time and intentionally answered 4 incorrectly otherwise it would've been a 900/900 in like 20 minutes.

I would have passed regardless but going through this the night before made it stupidly easy and I didn't want to throw up any red flags.

I am going to be taking this test On Friday, or maybe Thursday. I will be sure to inform everyone how it goes. I sure hope these stay valid until then :)

To those of us who actually know our stuff:
My only notes to you: Most of the stuff in here is common sense. Use your head, don't over think things, and you'll do fine. I took each of the 3 exams twice, got a minimum of 75% on the first try. Wrote out what I missed, found the researched what I missed and was able to get 100% on each the second time around and perfect on the final.

Plenty of downloadable e-books out there to supplement your knowledge.

Atomedawg, I studied this for the JK0-018 and passed with an 860. That being said, there were about 25-30% of the questions that weren't from this dump. However if you know most of the questions and answers from the dump you should be fine and be able to figure those out yourself.

AnonTester, thanks for your dump! His is dump is 100% valid and is exactly what I studied although I used other study aids. I took the exam this morning and scored 861 out of 900. I purposely answered a few wrong and
there were 3 simulations at the very beginning (1st 3 questions of the exam) as others have said. I took my time and answered each question and then reviewed a few I wasn't sure of. (took about 45 minutes).

Has anyone studied this dump for the JK0-018? Also, is this test different from SYS-301?

Don't think for a minute that just because you have your certification on your hands that CompTIA can't revoke it anytime they suspect foul play. Did you forget the agreement that you signed prior to taking the exam?

Granted, you can finish the exam in 5 minutes or so, what do you think the test center would think? No one could finish an exam in 13 minutes unless the person already know the questions and the answers ahead of time. The thing is, you need to consider other people on this forum also that will take the exam in the future after you. See, there is this unwritten rule to put some sort of consideration and common courtesy to others - those who haven't taken the exam yet and will take soon.

Yes, you mentioned that if CompTIA changes the exam, that someone could post an updated dump. How about if someone takes the exam this Saturday studying this dump, then all of sudden, CompTIA decides to change the exam this Friday due to actions of inconsiderate people like you? Didn't you just jeopardize someone else's future and blew their $300? To answer your questions, yes, this dump is that accurate. The questions are verbatim as they appear on the test and even the order of the answers are the same. If you really can do all 288 questions perfectly then you will pass(because the 3 simulations don't affect your score). There may be some beta questions in the exam also but they don't affect your score either. Judging from the amount of dumps on this site and their time submitted the tests are updated quarterly.

If you want to buy in to others' speculation that completing the exam too fast is a bad thing, you can double your time by choosing to review your questions once you've reached the end. Or you can use a mouse.

No. I practiced for speed and accuracy and met my personal goal. If you really think that the results of one test will change the exam completely then you can take the exam in the maximum allotted time. Who knows? Maybe they'll increase it to accommodate yourself and others like you.

I have my certification currently in hand and an irrelevant article from 2008 did not hinder me. Certification companies use forensic tools and conduct investigations? I would hope so considering the amount of money involved.

Yes, that's with reading the questions. I memorized the test entirely and spent no time reading incorrect answers. If you use a mouse to answer the questions then it takes much longer. During practice I'd manage 22 minutes on average, but was able to cut that time down immensely by using keyboard shortcuts.

I have read a study book a few times. And I have since memorized all 288 questions. I can like Anonsama said finish in about 15mins. I see the questions and know exactly what the answer is. Now I understand if I go take the test I should and WILL repeat WILL go slower than 15 mins. perhaps 30-45mins? But My question is this. Is this really that accurate? If I can do all 288 questions perfectly what are my chances of going to a testing center tomorrow and passing with no extra prep? I am nervous as the test isnt exactly cheap.
Also how long do these tests stay current as in, how long will these 288 questions be accurate?.

13mins!!!! even when i take the practice test i'm nowhere near that time. Did you even read the questions?? It takes me 45mins or more to complete when actully reading and looking at each possible answer. I'm sure red flags are going to go up at the about how fast it toke you to complete the test

Geez, people listen up! If you take the exam and get a perfect score on such a very short time, you are flagging yourself for CompTIA to further investigate you. CompTIA is now using data forensics to catch cheaters and see any outliers. You don't believe, check this link out!

I agree, When you go in to take these tests don't try to finish as fast as you can you dummies. At least make it look like the exam is somewhat of a challenge. Jesus Christ!

Anonsama, if you left the exam class after 13 minutes with 900/900 score, that's a big help for everyone out here. Probably Comptia will change the exam questions anytime soon and this dump will become useless for us. Thank you so much!

I took the exam today 3/18 and passed with a perfect score of 900/900 using this. Like others have said, there are 3 simulation questions, but they don't count towards your score.

This dump has 288 questions separated into ten 30 question groups. The most effective way of studying them IMO is to do each group individually until you've mastered all 10 of them. That way no matter what question appears on the actual test you'll be ready for it. I did this for two weeks and am proud today that I was able to complete the test with a perfect score and within 13 minutes. Other things that helped were that the actual exam's shortcut keys are the same as Visual CertExam's, that is, ALT+N for next question, ALT+P for previous, A, B, C, or D to mark that answer, etc.

Took 3/15 and passed with 885. dump was still accurate. There were 3 simulation problems and 1 matching answer with question dropdown box on my exam. The simulation was about wireless security configurations.

100% accurate test. I took the Sec+ exam last Tues, and scored 881. The questions were identical and the answers were in the same order. This helped me a great deal in my test preparation.

I took the test today. I sadly only got a 896. Think I made a small error on the WAP programming. The rest was 100% correct, thanks all for the help.

Just got back from the testing center and got a 900. Exactly like the test expect for one problem was slightly different. It was about ALE and it cost $XXX/hour and expect 2 day of downtime. In the practice it included a probability of 5% downtime but in the exam it did not include the probability. So it was just $XXX x 48hrs. Guessing a lot of people didn't multiple by the percentage to get the correct ALE and got it wrong so they made it simpler. Guess you can be great at IT but not so good at math. Also the 3 sim questions I got were about putting memory in order from most volatile to least volatile. Determining if it is "something you know", "something you have" or "something you are", and last configure a firewall based on a map of ip address and the type of traffic to allow or permit as well as know the port. I dont think the sim questions are graded because I put a SCP port 22 as allow both TCP and UDP when it should just be TCP.

@AA no JK-018 is used by training centers that do the exam right after the training. U need to book the SY0-301 exam to pass with this dump

As enticing as that sounds. it's free. I'm not worried about anyone sending anything to me. If someone sends you an email stating they are me. don't send them anything. I uploaded this for the public to have at it.
The CCNA one, which I took and passed, I used Sekhar's vce. I found no point in creating my own when his is 100% valid. Study that and use 9tut website to study the labs, which are VTP, EIGRP, ACL2 (which is just having you create an ACL and applying it) and NAT, you will be fine. Just know that the answers WILL NOT be in same location when you take the CCNA composit exam. Good luck and cheers to all. Glad to help.

@AnonTest or anyone, I cant help but see people saying things like only 25% or 1/2 of the questions were on the exam.. obviously the majority of posts indicate otherwise, are those others trying to be malicious or is it perhaps that they are only looking at a portion of the questions (ExamA only, for example)
