Pass Your CompTIA SY0-301 Exam Easy!

This dump is still legit! I passed two days ago with an 895. Almost every question in this dump was word for word on the test. Thanks!

I passed the exam with this vce last December. I have a friend wanting to take this test now but I'm not sure if this is still valid. Anyone know?

@Darkrido.The answer is A, not c. I dont have an explanation for it but the ActualTest dump says its A.I had that question on my test, and it wasnt wrong , sorry i cant explain it. Maybe u can do some research on the / instead of #

I took the test today and passed. I got 840.
Test was entirely different and difficult. At once, I thought I was going to fail.

Keep your eyes open, study dumps and go over the board. Do lots of research on the net and don't be shy asking questions
You probably need more than one study book to pass this test.

Can somebody point me to a study material explaining below question and its answer?

Q: Which of the following is the correct formula for calculating mean time to restore (MTTR)?

a) MTTR = (time of fail) / (time of restore)

According to certkey, answer is C but I am not sure it is correct as I don't recall any # symbol basic arithmetic.

@mzmz: Dude! there is no way you can study this dump for six weeks and not get the concepts. Also a low score 545. Your post sounds like you used this exam dump as your only study martial. Your just mad about failing and "wasting $260." Suck it up! Go watch Professor Messer and take the exam again.

@Sumdawg41: u didnt read well what i wrote i said we need to update this exam, check other comments u will find the there r now new Qs, its simple to understand what i am saying. i didnt say fix this dump. i am note rude to tell all ppl here your dump its not good or waste of time to study. all i am saying for me here in my country (kuwait) the questions been changed. maybe if i took it again the 100 from the pool Qs will be the same from Biglee 447 and i wil pass like others. all comments that who passed from Dec said u have to study hard, know the concpets .etc and that what i am saying memorinzing the Qs will not help since there r alot of Qs have the same answers and there also some of answers had alot of Qs and u will had aconflict in answering this questions if u r not know the concepts why the answers

Took the 301 test today and passed with 840. I had used the 447 questions test multiple times and like some others have said: I understood the concepts and also used the internet and books to go further. Regarding the test, I had seen only a handful of questions before but most of the questions were new to me, so be sure you are ready. Good luck to y'all!

Are yall sure your taking the right test when you go in. You realize the dump is for 301 and not 201 right? All the test sites are still saying 447 questions with a guarunteed pass. I just took the test 2-3 weeks ago, and 100 out of 100 of the questions were on the test, They couldnt have changed it that much. They dont change them every 2 months, its more like every year. They will add some yes , but not many. And again, if u scroll down, I posted a link to my word document that puts this dump into WORD format. Check it out.

Also, Quit being unappreciative of these dumps. OH IM NOT TAKING THE CERT AGAIN UNTIL YOU FIX THIS DUMP.how about you go buy it yourself for 150 dollars if your going to be rude. Time and money goes into these dumps and people are nice enough to put them on here.

and, dumps are awesome, but if u cant answer a question because YOU DIDNT MEMORIZE IT FROM THE DUMP, maybe u need to rethink taking the certs.

That what I am saying if u study the book its ok with these Qs its ok . but memorizing the Qs will be diffcult to u becasue as i am saying study HARD HARD HARD or there is chance to fail and waste 260 $ !!

I passed! If you use this dump as a practice exam and supplement with the CompTIA book you should be ok. It is by no means easy but it is doable.

@someITdude, I agree with you. I can't imagine if you memorized all 447 questions from Big Lee that you cannot still pass the "updated exam". I mean HOW different can it be!? Def let us know how your exam went on the 20th! if it's the same as Big Lee's questions.then I'ma schedule for 21st.

mzmz, That can not be the case. None of the other comptia exams reflect that. At most they do that every 6months to a year. Then again, the 301 has more content than the 201.I will be taking the exam on the 20th ready or not.

Lets see, in may the 301 began. In september the biglee uploads this dump. At this rate the next update is in march.

To mzmz and the others that said the exam has changed. Give us more detail. like is the formate the same, any similar questions etc.

I took it pormetric. i think Biglee dump from Sep. an din Comtia as u know they randomly chanage the Qs every 2 months like A+ so i think someone should update this exam i will NOT re-take it if there is no update

To the people that said the test has changed: Did you take your test with prometric or pearson vue. I believe that dump is geared more to prometric.

Guys please be careful!!! I studied my ass off with this dump, and when I took the test today: 12-09-2011, there were only 2 questions from this entire dump! I still passed because I knew the material, but this dump was NOT valid for me.

Great resource. I studied the questions about 10 hours total. There were 7 questions not in the dump but with a bit of logic you can figure the right answer out.

Passed today with a 867/900 Questions were exact. There were some questions (2) that I did not see in the dump, but they were probably beta test questions that CompTia indicated may be part of this test and were not scored

cabledawg0111 the test is word for word from this dump. 100 out of 100 of the questions I saw on my test was identical to the VCEs. If you know ALL the questions from the dump you should be good. Unless its changed since the 22nd, dont worry. Sometimes people take the wrong test and dont even know it. Study, and youll be fine

I studied examworx which is the same dump from biglee. When i took the test there was 20 questions I had never seen before and they did not make sense to me. I am gonna try to take the jko-018 I think its easier. If anyone had taken this let me know. What does the (E2C) mean anyone.

Did you review all the exams a-e on this .VCE and you only found 70% of the questions. most inputs state all the question are 100% spot on. I take the test Dec 5th and worried now. been reviewing question for a month now and score 100% on each .VCE exam on this web site. Please provide input anyone?

Its the jko-018 test the same as Syo-301 for 2011 they both are for 2001?

I did not pass got a 725 . I used examworx about 70 questions where exact. I had to guess on the rest.

Did you guys take test at Pearson Vue? Do you think the test differ from Prometric?

Pass mark is 750 out of 900. theres 100 questions, so thats about 15 questions u can get wrong before you fail. Good luck

Just passed today the security+ exam and all I did was study Big Lee's dump and passed with 854. Took me 30 minutes to finish. There where a couple of questions that where not in the dump, but 854 not too bad.

It will bring you to my word document. In total, its 45 pages. which is WAY better than 150 trust me. You can break it up into separate docs if you want to, but I just combined them all into one for the sake of not having to put 8 different links on here. I really hope the flash cards and word docs work.

Honestly guys, not sure how to post them on here, but if you want to give me an email to email them to, I can no problem. In total, theres about 25 pages of the word doc. It seems like a lot but compared to the 150 in the PDF, its knocked down quite a bit. Helped me study . Especially because staring at a computer screen definitely gets old after a while when trying to study.

I have just finished putting all of these questions into virtual flashcards and into WORD documents from the ActualTest PDF, so it can be printed without needing 150 pages. Post here if you want the word document, and if u want the flast cards, go look at quizlet.com and search for summerg41 after you search itll say right underneath the search bar ARE YOU SEARCHING FOR THIS USER? click that.the only flash cards I ahve in my dash board are the security+ SY301 ActualTest ?'s. and they are broken up into 7 sections like the ActualTest PDF is. @ virnga- The only study materials I used were the Sybex Security+ SY-301 Book & Dropknee's 447 question dump! This test is not hard as long as you understand all 6 Test Objectives. Good luck to you.

@TLee Oh forgot, Messer does live shows online also, kinda of like certain subjects he will cover and you can watch live and log into his chat and ask questions live. best part it's free :) You can "like" him on FB and the next time he has one it will show on FB stating he will start in 30 mins, he does them on the weekend, last Saturday he did two shows for Network + I believe and A+ which I sat through. Lots of good info.

@TLEE I purchased mine from Amazon, now the book is FULL of information. It came with three books, study guide, review and a street smart book to show you how to actually do the security stuff. I read about 1 chapter a day, then read the review book and did this dump alot.

I would go to professor Messer's site, watch all the security + vids for free and you can also download the security + ebook for only $30 bucks. you'll save alot of money and his vids are great. I'm watching all his A+ vids cause I bought the sybex book and it's like 4 inches thick!! TOOOOO much info for this test, so I'm reviewing the book but mainly watching his vids and doing the A+ dumps from biglee 701&702. @tlee: also if you didn't register your VCE ie; pay, then you will only get a limited amount of questions. sorry, dumps are free, vce is not.

@ Tlee: If you are using this dump you have 447 questions available to you. When you select the (correct) dump and click start you should see a pull down "Take selected exams A-E where you can select one or all and then select at the bottom the amount of questions, highlight the "take" and next to it you should see "447" which you can change to "100" or whatever. I selected all exams A-E and did 100 questions at a time, each time it will mix up the questions. Did this several times a day along with reading the sy0-301 book I purchased from Sybex and passed yesterday with no problems.

Anyone know why passwd would be the correct answer to NTLM being backward compatible when LANMAN was replaced by NTLM?? One would think the correct answer is LANMAN on this dump and not passwd? passwd is to reset passwords on unix/linux systems.

Dump is valid. Word for word. Every question was on this dump. Even the answers were in the same places! Passed on 9/20/2011 with 900/900. One caveat. The question in Exam C that begins, "A security administrator wants to prevent users in sales from accessing their servers after 6:00" and then continues with the rest of the question in the A answer column has the answers as Seperation of Duties (B) and Time of day restrictions (C) as the correct answers. The actual correct answers on the exam are Time of day destrictions (B) and Access control Lists (C) something with the 6:00pm format messed up the answer placement in the dump. Just an FYI

I tested today and barely passed. I looked at this dump after the test and the questions are exactly the same. I noticed that the questions on the test had names in them like this dump. I didn't look at the entire dump but this is more than I had to study with.

Hey Jason, from reviewing it again, I'd say it is just about word for word. Best thing to do is try one section at a time till you are scoring perfects or near perfects, then have it run 100 from all sections over and over. And know why the answer is the right answer, and why the others are wrong. Best of luck to you!

I just took the test today, and only looked at this file for about an hour today. Before I had BigLee's file that was posted August 29th. If I had more time to review this one, I might have scored a perfect! This one is just about identical to the test I took today. It's always helpful to actually know the material as well!

I took the 301 within the past week. I just reviewed Test A of this dump. The questions seem to be geared more towards study review. I didn't see too many questions that were word for word from the test. Study the material and use this to verify knowledge.

I don't know. I have already obtained my Security+. This is the latest update from ActualTests.com, so it should be pretty valid.

Is this word for word? I am planning on taking the exam in a few weeks.
