Currently studying for this cert and I'm just curious on how I can access the media fire slides you all are talking about. Please and thank you!

Helloe, i have a question, i failed this examen, some body have the correct answer for the similation:

I was asked 6 sims from the start:
SIM1: Choose between the 3 factors of authentication (something you know, are, have)
SIM2:Firewall Configuration
SIM3:ID attacks (vishing, pharming, whaling, phising, and forgot the last one)
SIM4: Match port numbers
SIM5: Order of Volatility
SIM6: Floor plans
1)Unsecured work stations: Cable locks
2)Office work place: Proximity, safe
3)Datacenter: cctv, proximity,man trap, cipher lock, secure cabnits
4)Off site: Biometric

I really wish someone post the answers for the sims (media fire). I do have the sims questions (media fire) but I do not know if whether I am right or wrong. Thanks in advance.

Took the exam on 2/28 and passed with a 872/900. I went through all the questions on this dump and saw maybe 5-10 of them on the actual exam. I also had 5 sim questions all at the beginning which were very similar to the slides referenced in this thread. Know your port #'s, order of volatility, attack types, and firewall programming.

You really do need to understand the concepts behind everything, but that being said, the questions in this dump DO help you get exposure to what to expect on the actual exam. If you can answer these questions by understanding why they are correct instead of just memorizing answers, you will be fine.

Looking at the mediafire sims? Does anyone have the answers? I'd like to check whether or not I'm right. Taking test on Wed! Wish me luck! Doing Professor Messer and this and another dump to prep. Also have the Gibson app on my phone.

Dump was not valid . Luck of the draw I guess. However, the SIMS on mediafire were dead on. That being said I did pass with a 836! I had basic knowledge, studied Darril
Gibsons Get Certified Get Ahead, watched Prof. Messer's videos for references and used this dump as an idea of where I stand.

Dump was mostly not valid for me but still passed with room to spare. Maybe 5 are on there verbatim. The key for me was learning the ports, knowing how firewalls rules look and work and the pdfs in other comments. I studied all 500+ questions, and I don't think I would have covered all of the topics without it. It was more important to me passing than the Gibson book. Learning the topics is the only way.

Am I the only one who cannot view the simulation questions? They seems VERY zoomed in, impossible to view?

About %50 valid I found. You definitely need to study more than just the brain dump exams. It did help though.

Very Valid!!! Every question I saw on my exam was found on this one. However, the 6 or so sim related questions were different and most were in the PDF listed in most of these discussions.

Passed today. Can't say the dump was what cliched it. Know your port numbers and the media fire slides helped in the prep. Especially look out for the firewall sim, or just save the sims for the end.

This is very very valid other than the Sims, I got all the exact same multiple choice questions and answers and same letter choice too. Almost a perfect score!

This is exactly what's on the Pass4Sure program..they're only valid for a 30-60 days until the test changes again.

I studied Professor Messer's Security+ videos, this dump, and Comptia.Actualtests.SY0-301.v2013-11-11.by.JustMe.587q.vce. I only saw about 5 questions word from word but this dump does cover all the concepts that will be ask. If you only study the dumps, you will NOT pass but if you use the dumps to reinforce the concepts then your on the right path. If I could redo it all over again, I would look at more then 1 type of dump but whatever works...

passed today with 816... practical questions are the same... from test I got like 1/3 or 2/5 questions that are here... I didn't check all 587 but still... GL for all those that will be taking this exam

Why would anyone risk studying more than 500 questions, and then might fail on the real exam, it's an interesting practice of learning ..... :~)

I see the mediafire website for the sims. Does anyone know the answers to them?

Good study tool, but the questions are not verbatim on the test. Do not rely on this soley to pass the test, understand the information.

Just took the exam today. Passed with an 800. This dump is only 50% valid. Seriously, half of the questions I did NOT expect; do NOT study only this dump. The simulations from mediafire were the ones used, and there were only 75 questions (not 100). I also used Darryl's book, but even his questions only cover about 50% of this exam. It was rough!

I found this to be very valid. Passed with an 865. Only studied this dump but studied the concepts behind the answers.

Exam passed on 11 Feb 2014. A lot of questions was the same for me. Surely worth to use that dump.

mostly simulation on the actual test. About 5 questions at most from this dump. Do not rely on this dump completely.

I passed today 836/900 , For me this dump is not valid , but it is good to training , I had questions I nerver see before . You have to understand all security concepts to answers questions.Some simulation questions are similar that those in mediafire... Good Luck.

"Dat Right" dude you almost fail with that score, how would you say the 85% of the questions are in this one? weird!

This dump is about 85% valid. I passed with a 757. Majority of the questions are on the test with the exception of a few. The sims are onpoint. They are exactly what DJ referenced.

You have to study the past questions for it and you will be successful.

just passed today with an 820 This dump is not valid. maybe 3 or 4 questions from it on exam. i've studied about 4 or 5 different recent dumps and still only saw about 4 or 5 familiar questions on the exam. you will need to have sec + knowledge. i had about 6 or 7 sims. types of attacks, port number drag and drop, configuring a firewall for https, tftp and scp (ports 443, 69, 22) security measures needed in workplace, server room, etc. 5 or the sims can be found on mediafire but they do not have the answers, just the blank sim. my advice is to use to vce's as nothing but practice questions. know your stuff, because none of the recent dumps are valid.

I just took my test today and Failed :-( Score 730 I needed 750 to pass.....I did not study from this information but im about to do the download.....JustMe how did you do on the test?
