I have been using this practice tests to study for the 801 & 802 exams and nothing else. Recently alot of people are saying that the questions have changed. Should i not take the test? Someone please get back to me.

Took exam today with 70 questions and four sims; passed with 837. This dump is still valid along with the commentary below on the simulations. Like the others stated there are about 10-15 new questions, but these are along the same lines as the others in the dump. Study this and you will be fine, assuming you know the material and are not doing this just for a paper cert. Best of luck.

Passed today with score892 had 70 question and 4 SMS the SMS were same as below comments, only 4 new quetion which were not defficulat. This dump is 90% valid

This dump is very valid, a few new question but pretty straight forward. I honestly don't know where i fell short, however, all the simulation mentioned in the previous question a valid and verified.

Few tips. Read the sims carefully there may be slight deviations, for instance you may be required to configure alternative ip address for a wireless adapter where as i was asked to configure a wired adapter. Also the cmd prompt simulations were a bit buggy - they occasionally didn't give me the proper output even when i entered the right commands so i had to reset the simulation. If you do this also re-trace your steps, you can easily miss some key variable.

Also flag the sim question and answer them last, if the test was like mine, some of the standard questions may give you helpful hints in how to approach the sims (for peace of mind).

Took this test on the 11th. Everything was basically the same with a few new questions near the beginning. Passed with 834. The sims matched what people here said they were.

Anonymous how many new question you did have in the exam?

Took exam 6/12/13 and passed easily. About 80% of my questions were on this dump. There were some new questions. The 4 sims were the same as mentioned several times below.

Is 220-802 the same as 220-702 now? Is it suppose to be harder or the same, but just a different name?

884/900 dumps is valid, took the test on 9th June had 4 new questions with same sims.

893/900 Dump is still about 95% valid, maybe 5-10 new questions. Sims are the same
I had:
1 - use ipconfig /flushdns to ensure
2 - alternate IP configuration settings for a wired adapter
3 - After a virus has been removed, you still can't browse the web with IE. solution is to go into Internet Settings -> Connection -> uncheck the proxy server (127.0.0.1 on port 5555). Important note: when I used Restore default settings, it did NOT REMOVE THE OLD PROXY. So I just did it manually and double checked it had been removed.
4 - NTLDR is missing. boot with CD, repair, select CMD, then use bootrec /fixboot

Took the test today (07/06/2013), passed with 900. This dump is about 95% valid. If you purely study from this dump you will pass the standard questions.

As for the simulation questions, I got the following:

1. Configure a users laptop so that it can connect to both their home network and their work network. As someone here mentioned before, keep an eye out to see whether they mention connection is wired or wireless so you choose the correct network adaptor. The question asks that you input the details given to allow the laptop to connect on the home network but will also allow connection at work which is using a DHCP to assign IPs. The solution is to simply click the correct adaptor, go to IPv4 properties, go to the Alternate Configuration tab, click on user configured, and enter in the details given to you by the question.

Leave the general tab untouched as the question states the work network is using DHCP to assign IPs.

(Also note: If you go into IPv4 properties and see that you don't have Alternate Configuration tab, REFRESH THE QUESTION, as when I first attempted the question it didn't give me the option to choose this tab.)

2. A user has had adware installed on to their internet browser, and is now unable to search using their search engine. This question is requires you to adjust proxy settings.

It will first display the control panel screen, simply click the Internet Options applet, go to the connections tab, click on LAN settings and then un-tick the Use a proxy server box.

3. A user is experiencing BOOTMGR missing when trying to boot up. Use command prompt to sort it out.

You will first be presented with the windows repair screen giving you two options, click boot from disc, at the next screen click on repair at the bottom, and then click next. Once you arrive at the screen giving you several options, click on the command prompt option at the bottom.

I typed the following command lines:

bootrec /fixboot

and

bootrec /fixmbr

Not quite to sure which one fixed it, but just do both to be safe, they didn't mark me down.

4. The questions explains that there are two computers (computerA and ComputerB). ComputerA has changed their IP which has resulted in ComputerB not being able to access shared files on ComputerA. It will then ask you to use command lines to fix the problem.

You will then be presented with two CMD screens one for ComputerA and one for ComputerB. I typed the following commands in both CMDs:

ipconfig

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flush dns

Once I done that, i typed in the following on computerB's CMD:

ping ComputerA

You should then see that it is pinging ComputerA successfully.


Hope this helps people who are worrying about the simulation questions.

This dump still valid. I took the exam today and passed it with 874/900, almost ~95% of the questions are on this dump, very useful. 78 total, 3 sims included.

Just pass the 802 test today, 70 question and 4 SIMS. passed with 830/900. The dump is still valid.

Took my Exam yesterday 5/28 and passed with flying colors, this dump is still valid. Make sure you know your material and don't just rely on dumps! the sims aren't that bad if you have used any kind of study guide and navigated through windows you will do just fine. Again don't just rely on dumps to get you through the tests, you need to know this material for future jobs, study!!

Just took the exam today. 2013/05/27. There was about 5 new questions. Same SIMS as mentioned before. Still a valid dump. Passed with a 853/900

Passed my 802 wit 831 score, dis dump was really helpful though der was new question on d sim abt laptop internet configuration.

Passed exam yesterday with this dump scored 791 out of 900.

Study study Study , yes this brain dump is still valid. SIMS are as well , all dumps for the 802 is valid and compatible with each other. Almost got 900, there were 10 new questions but I don't know off the top of my head. If you studied then you should be fine

how do i get the sims for this exam. i could not see it in the download vce files. i am planning to take the exam in a couple of days. can someone help me out.

Yesterday I took the actual exam and I passed it with 838/700. Just about every question came directly from this dump. I was tested in three sims. The first one I know I screwed up. It asked me how do I figure out why an end user whose IP address was changed from a Class C to a Class A couldn't access the Internet from her computer. The second was setting up an email server on a mobile device and I know I got that one right. And the third was to identify a Windows version's feature. For example, to remove or add a program on Windows 7 it's Programs and Features.
