That 4000 question SIM that chokedup mentions is right on. It's got 20 perf-based SIMS. I cruised both exams using it. It's got the correct answer to the three bay thing. The question comes directly from an ExamCram practice test. Here's a hint. You DON'T leave the third bay empty!!! It's a close call issue but ExamCram explains it completely.

search eb ay for comptia 4000 and buy the 20 dollar instant download software . i practiced using that and i passed. this vce only helped me with 10 percent. youtube professormesser and elithecomputerguy. also rapidreview. check other comments for sims.

Just passed the 801 with 799. It said that I only got one item wrong, which had to do with suggestion a PC based off specificatiosn and I'm pretty sure it was the sim where you had to build the three clients. That one was obviously 101 points, so the sims in this are weighted pretty heavy I'd say. Studying and doing the dump, the questions were pretty straightforward

I passed this exam this morning with 729. About 30-35 questions were valid word for word. I want to let you know that if you are inexperienced, you should study a little more in books or some videos . There are many questions about cable types, topologies networks . etc . not just study this dump . thanks

I passed this exam this morning with 743. About 20-30 questions were valid word for word. The rest were new questions. I have about 1 and 1/2 years experience and only studied this exam. There were a lot of printer questions on my exam. Hope my comments help people out. Thanks.

Valid Dump. Just passed in Florida today and had the same 3 simulations that are listed below. If you have any IT knowledge, this is all you need to study. The rest is common sense.

Just finished writing the 801 exam; passed with a score of 883. This dump was very helpful. Some 30 or so questions from the dump were on my exam, nearly word for word. Another 15 or so questions very closely worded to questions from this dump, I studied this dump, Professor Messer and CBT Nuggets, This dump will not replace studying - is a great supplement however. Had 5 sims. The same sims as reported elsewhere in these comments.

passed today with 86%.most of these dumps are the exact same anyway got me through alot of the questions.there were new questions.and ones phrased differently. The first few questions are sims.which make u drag and drop motherboard parts .then making gaming/home theatre/thick client..then the raid i chose 2 ide drives in bay 2 and 3 think i got i t wrong.also video ports

I agree with jared. Passed but only because I used Professor Messor videos and other sources to study. Not just these questions. They are helpful but do not rely just on the questions here. I had the same sims he mentions. Passed with a 799 this morning.

this dump is about 60% accurate and needs updating. I passed because I studied using messer's videos, cbt nuggets, and mike meyers book. The sims are motherboard components, arrange hdd in max performance configuration, pin connecter identification and build a pc for home theater, gaming and thick client.

I wrote my exam and barely passed. All these dumps are invalid and most of the questions were updated. They can help you but not pass you for sure till you have knowledge and answer using your own studying. best of luck guys but let me tell you that only the simulations are the same as discussed here. Still Valid, but you still need to study other dumps, watch professor messers videos, and read your text book! My 801 had about 30+ questions on it.

About only 40% is from this. I barely passed today with 695 I think. Study other dumps if you don't wanna sweat in the room like I did. Thank GOD I passed.

This DUMP is useless. maybe 10 questions on the exam. What a waste of time and $180! My advice: Don't bother until the next dump. This one is horrible - failed by 1 question (no thanks to this dump for the ones passed)

I passed with 769 today. No command line sims. One sim had you drag and drop 20 MotherBoard parts to correct place. Next was matching up VGA, DVi, HDMI and S-connector. Other sim was building a Theater, gaming and Thick client. Thick client was my problem one. I saw nothing in study materials on that. 25% of questions were exact. 35% were the same but worded different. The rest were things I had covered except for T54a & T54b, I think it was. I said it related to Ethernet. Probably only about 5% that had me worried.

Most of the questions were either word for word though some of the questions were re-phrased a bit from the dump.
My tip is that the comptia A+ site has a exam objectives list on their website in a pdf format, (you have to give them your email to get it though) Its worth printing it out and ticking off everything to make sure you have not missed anything from revision.

-Difference between KVM AND REPLICATOR?
-Composite video transmission over what type of media?
-Highest SCSI HDD spin rate?
-New label type loaded into thermal printer tray but it didn't print,,,what is the reason behind?
-IT technician deals with customers from different countries, what is the most important matter to take into consideration?

This is a valid dump! About 20% of the actual questions are on the exam and the rest of the questions on the exam are very similar to the rest of the dump, If you can answer all the dump questions, you should have no problems passing the exam. Good Luck!!
