@marcus yes that's what i think. i just copy and pasted the answer for you. it makes no sense on the answers these dumps give you.

as i said in the other thread the sim may vary about the question/logic when you take the test. the picture was the same picture but question was slightly different. But as of the date the NON-sim questions are 100% word for word. good luck

@Chess. If you switch ap2 to G - channel 11. wouldn't that cause a conflict with ap3. AP3 is also at G and Channel 11.

see my comment on the other AnonTester thread. TL:DR sims may vary/slight different. questions are 100% word for word.

Cliff anontester 290 and passguide 298 you can't go wrong as for the sims read the comments I copy and past a screen shot to word to keep it apart from the questions and try and understand it from there it works for me good luck!!

Answer: AP2 configuration is not correct. The wireless mode should be `G' and channel should be `11'. For the wired interface, the speed should be set to 100 and duplex to `Full'. Click `Submit'.

Oh! And to does who are worried about the exam changing, I don't think it would so early it has only been 26 days since it's release. If you look at other dumps they stay pretty much 5 months valid, look at the A+ 702 for instance, but I might be wrong, anyway do the Math yourself.

Could somebody help me out. I have downloaded the VCE, I just want to confirm that the VCE contains one exam with 298 questions, is that correct? I just want to make sure that I have downloaded the file correctly. Also I did not find the SIMS within those 298 questions, can somebody let me know where they are because reading some of the comments it's apparent that the VCE should include the SIMS.

Sorry for delay in my response as I didn't open the site for couple of days. I got 3 SIMS. All the Sims are in exam but were not answered.

Sim#1:Test result for Ethernet cable was given. We need to identify the tools to test this cable. After that they asked to build a Ethernet based on standard 568B
Answer:
1. I select "Cable Certifier" as the tool as no other tools is being used for testing.
2.For 568B cable we just need to drag the colors from left hand side to their respective pin number i.e.
PIN#1(Orange White),PIN#2(Orange),PIN#3(Green White),PIN#4(Blue),PIN#5(Blue White),PIN#6(Green),PIN#7(Brown White),PIN#8(Brown)

Sim#2:A company has set up new building near its existing building. The two buildings will be connected wirelessly using AP. Also both buildings have access point for internal wireless use. The question was to setup the internal APs so that signal can be confined to the buildings.
Answer: I was not sure about this. In this we need to select the right antenna with right dB gain. The type of Antennas were "Omni directional, Directional etc).For building A I selected the directional one with high DB in Right Direction and for Building B I selected the directional one with high DB in Left Direction. I guess I didn't got it right.


SIM#3:Workstaions are unable to access the internet after a recent power outage..

Answer: I just disable and enable all the ports. Also I disable the ports between Switch1 and Switch2 to avoid loops.

Also the drag and drop question for Fibre connector is not a SIM.

So the last valid dump was around April-June, and this one just came out, how long should this bee good for, about a month? I'm currently running this exam on repeat and will study a few topic as needed but I scheduled my test in 2 weeks. Wondering if that's too long out and maybe I should bump it up?

Ok, took the test this morning. This dump is 100% valid. You need to know how the wiring in a Cat5 is configured and paired, and need to know the antenna placement when setting up multiple WAP's. This dump was awesome.

Took this test today & passed. I'd say about 85% of these questions were on it. There were a few curveballs and several sims (wire short, access point configuration, ports to enable on network devices for internet access) but I still pulled a decent score. You really should know your stuff.

LOL. 256-224= 32. Subnet IDs are 0, 32, 64, 96, etc. So obviously the broadcast addresses are 63 and 95. More simple to look at the CIDR which is /27 which equals 255.255.255.224. Hope that sheds a little more light so you can subnet in your head.

To the question about subnetting, it is actually fairly simple to work this one out however you should google how to calculate subnets to fully understand. In this example it gives 27 bits which leaves 5 bits. For an IP/subnet to be a broadcast address all bits after the /27 need to be 1.

In your example the 63 octet would be 001|11111 with the | representing where the 27th bit ends, thus leaving all 1's giving you a broadcast address.

95 would be 010|11111 also giving all 1's after the 27th bit. all the other answers in this question show 0's after the 27th bit thus are not broadcast addresses.

You must learn how to subnet. If you can not subnet, you cannot answer this question. Subnetting is to complicated to explain here. Pick up the network+ book by Todd Lamle, he explains it the best.

@waqas @Natashacia the sims are only screen shots ( they used a camera or device) to take a picture. Study it and figure it out your self. There in the last 20 or 10. Use the Designer to open it up and look or pick the last group to see/test

Where do I get SIMs

My empolyer is requiring that their employees get certifications immediately. Coworker #1 states that 40-50% of this dump showed up on his exam..score 760 (10:30 yesterday). Coworker #2 stated that 80% of the dump showed up on his exam.score 772 (10:30 today). This dump is valaid for now.use with other materials.

Took this morning after studying this exclusively, 20-25% of the questions from this dump were on my test, all Sims were on my test. I scored a 780 based on a mix of prior knowledge and this dump, I wouldn't study it exclusively, but it will definitely help! Good luck!
