Pass Your CompTIA 220-802 Exam Easy!

The 220-802 exam was available in english until june 30, however the other languages are available till december 31. I did the 801 in english and will do the 802 in french; do someone knows if these dumps are a good prep for other languages? (same question but translated). Thank you all

took the exam yesterday. This dump was usefull for studying but questions was kind of different. Sims was good still. This dump helped!

Passed the exam today with 880. I only used the professor Messers' video materials, and this dump. However, I already passed two other exams, and have some work experience. 80 questions on the exam (half of them were in this dump). 4 simulations: 1) you have to configure an email client app on a mobile device so that it is synchronized with the one at work; 2) you have features listed, and you have to drag and drop the correct OS next to each feature; 3) you have a work station that redirects the browser to the same malicious site, so you have to change the homepage and disable the proxy; 4) you have to divide a hard drive into two volumes, format them, use NTFS file system for both volumes (to allow for assignment of permissions), and make the hard drive dynamic disk (this one wasn't in the dump, but was an easy one);

I passed my 802 today with a score of # 737 by a thin hair. Test was a little harder than expected.Gahdi & Sharron exams were very helpful as far as exam questions. Sims are good study them. there was one that they didn't have in there. You had to create dynamic disk partitions on a drive assign drive F: 250000mb G:150000mb, but that wasn't to bad though.Good luck to all of you going for your A+ Cert. Glad I'm done now going to go for Network+ next!

Guys 802 is always bit more difficult than 802 , make sure you know windows navigation for any simulators , i got passed yesterday 8xx

Can I get a copy of the dump. I've took this test 3 times already and i been 5 point away from passing. This test is driving me nuts, When I take practice tests I'm getting 90% correct, but then on the real test these questions are so confusing and re-worded that sometimes doesn't make any sense. took 802 today and passed with 718,the dump is like 3% valid. do not memorize the answers but try to understand them since the concept are the same. For the sims you can memorize them if you want they are the same as mentioned by others..

Passed 802 with 805/900. I got following Sims. Only Got 10-15 questions from here but rest were new and differently worded. Questions are tricky so read it carefully. While choosing Answer from options, Choose the best solution. In most cases. Please go thru all Sims posted on this blog. They are very helpful. Sharon and Gaddi's Vce files very helpful. Good Luck.

Just passed with a 755 score.

Maybe 20-30% word for word valid. But the concept is there or reworded. You really have to do some critical thinking. Best advice would be, finish the sims fast for you can have enough time to answer the rest of the questions. I didn't get to fill out 4-5 questions or review the ones I marked because the time ended but I still managed to pass.

You really have to use common sense. For example, a question that was on the exam and not in the dump:

Which of the following would be cost-effective for security in a company:

A. ID Badge
B. FOB
C. RSA Token
D. Biometrics
E. Retina Scanner

I marked "A" since it doesn't cost much to buy or order ID badges. I also did a little bit studying with the Exam Cram book and watch some videos. Good Luck guys!

WHERE ARE THE SIMS IN THE FILES

I wrote on the 14/05/2015 passed with 780, all the SIMS mention below are still valid. maybe 50% of the exam came from this dump, don't rely on this dump only...Good luck guys

Hey Omar, don't remember too much, I already start studying for the 70-680. I did remember a question about what new features was introduced for the WinXP. Make sure you know what new features introduced in XP, win 7, and Vista.
Also 3-5 questions on printer. A user has a soho (i think it was either router A or B), the router is in a room with 3inch wall, the pc is in office across the room, the printer is in the middle. The user can ad hoc print to the server but cannot connect to the internet why? A.ad hoc only work with a/b b.no connection, router too far
Also,
A user boot up a pc and the date and time was off for a few second before reverting back to the correct time, what to do to fix this A.change cmos battery, b. synchronize with a different time zone c. sync with a different time server d. change date and time manually in bios.

Anything you remember vaguely would help. It Doesn't have to be word for word sentences. I'm studying on XP and Vista but I'm not sure what type of questions they are looking for.

Answer: I think the answer to this would be an "SD card" media. Android devices use a SD slot and Laptops also use a "SD slot" to insert a SD card. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

as of 4/29 day i took my test. this build is not valid. so many new questions that none of the dumps have like what's the disadvantage of virtualization a low performance, b long time to recover, c, difficult to test software if you are in NY don't take this you will fail. I failed mine with 690 because i used common sense to answer most questions

Hello everyone, I finally passed 220-802 today after three failed attempts. I scored a 757, this test is finally behind me. I encountered these simulations:
1. Order Windows 7 version most to least by feature-sets.
2. Partition a hard drive in disk management.
3. Repair boot failure with Windows 7 DVD.
4. Configure email on mobile device.
I won't go into detail because the other students has given very reliable information. I memorized the details that was given on partitioning a hard drive by the other students and it saved my bacon today. I had to isolate myself and I really studied because I did not desire to fail again. I used the VCE questions in Sharon and Jimmie. Some of the test questions were exact but a lot of them were worded differently and I had to take my time and isolate the wrong ones. I also used the Professor Messer's certification videos and CompTIA CertMaster. A big thank you to all of the students that have given good information.

just passed my test with an 870 and a year of actual experience. used prof messor videos, exam cram fifth edition for study notes and then used this dump exclusively for final studying. many similar questions, some duplicates but most seemed to be reworded. questions seemed to focus on 'what would you do next' moreso than hard facts like whats the min requirement of ram for win xp.

all sims are accurate. one that I got that's not on this is configuring a CEO's laptop to be static at home but dynamic at work when hes plugged in.

went like this
Home office:
10.10.10.0 range

10.10.10.1 is default gateway and also dns server and it doesn't use WINS.

Work Office: DHCP

they want you to configure his WIRED laptop to have a 10.10.10.15 address when he's home while being able to have no issue when he plugs in at his office.

Answer in short: select wired connection (not the wireless one although instructions seem vague) go to properties and IPV4 and properties leave first page as obtain IP and DNS automatically, go to second tab and fill in the info given.. All my sims were at beginning of test.

I'd say I saw about ~50% of questions from here but I think this dumb covered 95% of the material from the test. hope this helps and good luck

There were many of same questions. The ones that were different were very similar to questions on this practice test. The simulators (819-826) are valid and were the first questions on the test.

I also used: CompTIA.Testking.220-802.v2015-02-26.by.Lauren.855q.vce

These were the simulators I got:

1. Configure email on mobile device. To be clear: DO NOT FILL IN WIFI SETTINGS. DO NOT CHECK “Outgoing Server Requires Login.” AND CLICK SAVE AT TOP RIGHT WHEN YOU ARE DONE.

2. Repair boot failure with Windows 7 DVD: Just memorize the command bootrec /fixboot The instructions say to type help for a list of commands but I don’t think that is necessary. Wouldn't hurt to do it anyway though.

3. Order Windows 7 versions most to least by feature-sets.

4. Partition a hard drive in disk management. This one was not on this practice test but is really easy if you have ever partitioned a disk in disk management. I’m pretty sure you can name the partitions whatever you want.

Two disks 1 and 2 are installed in the system. Technician cannot format them from command prompt. Need to format ONLY Disk 1 as a dynamic disk with TWO partitions. Partition 1 being drive letter “F” with 256000MB and the other partition as drive letter “G” with 512000MB. Both partitions should allow encryption and redundancy. <- Don’t let this confuse you, just follow these steps.

Steps:
1. Right click on Disk 1, click on initialize. When the window pops up choose Disk 1 and MBR (Master boot Record). Click OK.

2. Again right click on Disk 1 and choose convert to dynamic disk.

3. Now right click on the unallocated space of Disk 1 and choose “New Simple Volume”. Specify storage as 256000MB and assign a drive letter “F”. Format volume as NTFS, leave “Perform a quick format” checked, and click next then finish. Perform step 3 again for rest of the unallocated space of Disk 1, but use drive letter “G” and 512000MB.

My study routine was to take 100 random questions of the test four to five times a week until I was consistently getting over 85%. Good Luck Everyone!

Studied for the 801 and passed with 868, didnt use dumps as there weren't any.

I've studied for the 802 and have my exam booked next week, I'm hoping to pass on actual study from books i have and prof messer. But ill go over this file and let people know how decent it is.
