Pass Your CompTIA 220-801 Exam Easy!

Pls can someone help me with a valid 220_ 801 dump

Just took the Test and Passes 770 this dump is around 70% , my test was 75 questions and 4 simulations.

Sim1: Identify the parts of the motherboard. (Sata connector IDE, Power connector, RAM, PCi, PCIe 1,4,8,16 (Learn how to identify these IMPORTANT), BIOS battery,)
Sim2: Match connectos to there picture ) DVI, HDMI VGA, S-VIDEO
Sim3: You are given a bunch of parts for example that i can remember: 1 Tb hard drive, 280 gb hard drive, 500gb hard drive, Quad core processor, dual core i3 and i5, 8gb RAM, 6Gb RAM, 2 GB RAM, TV turner card, Specialzied video card. So here you are suppose to build a GAMING PC, Home Theater PC and THICK Client, well you know passive cooling (its also there) for the gaming pc, 8gb for gaming, etc.
Sim4: Here well you are giving 3 Hard drive slots: and you are asked to make raid fill them with the minimum amout of IDE hard drives that give the best performance. Well i em not sure if i go it right You can choose the same hard drive more than one time. So used two IDE hard drives with teh same RPM = 7,600 (in my test this was the fastes HDD since the other ide was 5,600 or something like that). Dont know if i em right but this is what i selected.

Well people as YOU are right now i was scared like hell. since i did not want to throw away my money. but . to be honest its not that hard i was surprised. if your already in the TECH field its not that complicated.

Now this is what i used to Study. for 801 there is a PDF on the web called: "CompTIA APlus Rapid Review 2013.PDF" from (Darril Gibson) this is a 400 page file, the first 200 are for exam 801 the other 200 are for 802 so i em sure this will help in my 802 test that i will do shortly. So i read the first 200 pages for 801. i read them 2 times. People this helps. read this book twice. and watch professor messor videos on youtube and simply try hard.

here are the simulations i received:

sim 1 - Identify motherboard components (cmos battery, pcie x16/x1/x4, cpu fan, front panel i/o, power connectors, etc.)

sim 2 - Set up the highest performance RAID using IDE, given an image of 3 empty drive bays and you have to fill them up with IDE HDDs

sim 3 - Identify display ports (HDMI, DVI, VGA, S Video)

sim 4 - build a home theater pc, thick client pc used for domain & a gaming pc, you are given the components and you have to drag and drop into the appropriate boxes

please don't just study this dumb, watch youtube videos, read ebooks & apply personal knowledge

go into the exam with confidence, if you don't feel that you have studied hard enough or you don't feed confident going into your exam, DO NOT TAKE THE EXAM, only take it when you are 100% confident.

Hey guys, I just passed my exam. This dump is about 20-25% valid as was previously stated. DO NOT RELY ONLY ON THIS DUMP, I can assure, you will not pass. Instead, reschedule exam if needed and study from exam study guides/watch Messer's videos/etc.

The best way to study for the four simulations is by (1)studying all the common motherboard components. (2)How to build a Thick client, Gaming PC, and a Home Theater PC. (3) Study data redundancy, ie. RAID levels. (4)Familiarize yourself with common connectors, ie. VGA, Serial, HDMI.


Take the test when you feel fully confident you will pass. Good luck!

Passed with a 753 today. Dump is maybe 25% valid. Most of the questions are new. Of the 75 questions, about 15 were word for word from the dump. The Sims are what others have mentioned, although you need to be able to ID the four different types of PCI slots (x16, x4, x1, normal). If you rely just on the dump you will most likely fail.

Dump is still good. Passed with 761.

This dump is still valid in the United States. Passed today with 778/900, around 30% - 40% new questions and simulations on the actual test, but this dump can help you pass the test with your knowledge.

HI. guys I passed this exams on 4th June with scored 721 I don't remember how many but approximately 10 to 15 are new questions this dumps helps me a lot in new question I got few are twisted version of the old dump questions and I think few question are from dumps of second paper paper of A+ 220-802 lucky I gave both paper on the same days and prepared for both the paper and cleared both the paper and now A+ certified next Network+ and Health+. got the same four sims people mentions here.
my Last word give both the exams on the same days as they are preparation for both the paper are same things read this dumps and atleast read one study guide thoroughly and you will definitely clear the exams good luck for your exams

Barely passed (700/900) the 801 using this dump. Only had 25-35 questions from this dump on my exam.

took test today failed dont use this for your only study oly 15 questions from this dump all others were new

I hear that 801 and 802 is easier than 701-702 is this so? Also, I am trying since 2 hours ago to open and the dump for Tko-801-802 and it would not download. Jay, thanks for the info. I am also enrolled in a college and using the VCE. I am schedule to take my A+ next Monday and getting a little worried about the test. I am hoping for a new dump between now and then.

Hitman I know a few people have industry experience already. I know I do at least. Also, many have read the books.

Has anyone who failed the exam also enrolled in a class or did you just rely on the dumps?

I have to also i agree, i failed this dump as well with simulations on how to build thin and thick clients as well as a theatre pc. Along with describing all parts on a current generation motherboard (PCI X4, PCIX16, IDE Power Connector & etc.) There was maybe about 75% of the multiple choice questions from this dump but with about maybe 10 or 15 new questions, Comptia website says the test is also 100 questions but when i had taken the test it was only 75 questions which raises the chance of the person who studies this dump to fail. Id say maybe about 30 to 35 questions are valid on this dump a new dump needs to be created.

Failed here too (658/900). So close! I literally counted the questions that were from this dump and those that weren't. My exam had 75 questions in total. Only 35 were from this practice exam. There were 36 questions that I've never seen before. I had 4 simulation/performance based questions. This needs to be updated and I need to study again.

This dump is pretty accurate i scored 806 out of 900 today just take your time and read the questions

passed today with 794, the sims were as mentioned before, there were maybe 6-8 new questions on mine. The wording on the motherboard parts sime was atrocious!

@ Eddy the sims are quite easy you just need to know your mother board parts, setting of RAID for redundancy, abt 5 connectors(hdmi,vga,serial and svideo) and which components go where on a gaming pc, HTPC and thin client. The sim are still multiple choice just more in one question.

A+ certified! Passed both 801 (814) and 802 (884) today. I used a variety of books including Professor Messor's online videos and these dumps. The 801 dump by aevorea is approximately 80% valid and the 802 dump by Caitto is approximately 90% valid as of today. Same sims as mentioned before. These dumps are good enough if you just need a pass.

Just came from the test now. Passed 756. I was given 71 questions. first four as usuall the said and talked about simms. spotted about 6 new questions. of these new questions only 1 was really new the other 5 were reworded or twisted one on this dump. just be caredul there. the new question was asking about a mouse and keyboard not functioning when a new pc is built up. You need nothing guys to pass. Just this dump noyhing else.

I have given this 801 exam just now and passed with score 900/743.
All the text question was the same as in this dumps, but had problem in Sim.
Total had 71 q and 4 sim.

70% was on my exam today. Same 4 SIM's as mention from Jan-Apr 2013

Valid. Got 828/900. Some different questions. NAT process Private ip -> public ip / number of pins of ddr2 etc.

Just took this test today and passed with a 784 out of 900. This dump is awesome and very valid. The sims are the same, motherboard parts, connector types, build a pc. There were six new questions, but they were not too hard to figure out. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this dump.

Took this exam yesterday afternoon. Passed with a 750. There were a lot of new questions I saw that were not on this dump. However, there was still quite a few questions that were in this dump so it's definitely worth studying. The sims were the same as all the others have mentioned on here. The only sim that could present some difficulty is the motherboard identification, make sure you know I/O power supply, main power supply connectors, ect. on the motherboard. Also judging by a lot of other peoples comments on here, a lot got the RAID question wrong. You MUST select IDE drives (2 7200) and the LEAST amount of drives needed, a lot of you guys got this totally wrong. Despite my crappy score speeding through it, this test was a lot easier than sec+ or net+.

It works! Got 880/900. But three simulations and two questions were present. The simulation includes identification of components in motherboard, identifying different types of ports (like HDMI, DVI, etc.) and fixing suitable HDDs in suitable drive bays.

The two questions are:
1. How to dispose CRT monitors?
2. Which of the following connectors is round in shape? BNC, RJ45, USB, HDMI

Rest of the questions are same. Practising only this will definitely make a pass.

Still valid. Took it today and got a near perfect score. Same sims that others have mentioned. This dump helped me pass more than the 1400 page textbook I read.

About 5 new questions regarding recycling of IT Hardware like CRT monitors.
If you are in IT for more than 5 years you don`t need to study anything.
These things are basic knowledge you collect during work.
