Took the v7 exam today, 9 June 2012 and passed with 91%. This dump is still valid for v7. Test was 150 questions and I only saw 3 new that were not on this dump. Dallas, Tx was test location.

The dump is valid, aside from 5 questions that you shouldn't have an issue answering if you studied appropriately.

I had a few questions and was hoping it could be answered here. I went on the eccouncil site, but the link for the eligible application from was not working... I googled the form and found a few different versions

Secondly, i do in fact have over 2 years worth of experience in information security, but with my current employer, I only have 1 years worth.. I notice that the form has only one slot for your current emloyer and supervisor name.. Am i supposed to send 2 different forms?

Hi Guys just passed this morning with 95% you don`t need any other dumps apart from Salahs. The only answers which were wrong has been corrected by Quanto in his post below. I agree with quantos answers which he corrected.

You don`t need any other dumps of 500+ unless you want to waste time. If you want to pass this is all you need. So just take the exam and stop wasting time!!!!

daywalker, the $100 and the qualification is practically a money grabber. Easiest thing to do is to word your experience in a security perspective. Most of my experience was help desk but I worded it in a way that it made it seem much more relevant to the exam. ie. "enforced security policies by encouraging users to create strong passwords..etc".

I'll be taking the exam sometime this week or next, haven't decided, and I'll post back. I'm in pretty good shape because I didn't get many wrong while doing the test above BUT there are a few mistakes so be cautious.

guys , I am working as network engineer for more than 4 years , do you think they will accept my form , my tasks are on cisco routers and switches and some of it on firewall .
appreciates you opinion and is there anything i need to send to them than sending the form signed from my manager and 100$ ?

Yes they verify with your employer. There is no way that I'm aware to get around the authorization code that vue/prometric requires. You have to fill out a form with ec council and get your boss to sign off on it and then email/fax it to them with $100. They take a long time to verify your form, like two weeks, and then if you're approved they email you the authorization code.

By the way this dump is more than valid. I took my cehv7 and got an almost perfect score. There were only a few new questions and they were pretty straight forward and similar to the study guide.

@int13h , how did u recieve the code? do they verifiy with yur employer?

I just received my prometric auth code after waiting almost two weeks. I will cram this weekend and take my test early next week. I will keep you posted on how I do.

As much as I want to wait for v8 to come out, so I can say I have the newest cert I think its more important to take it now while we have good questions to study from, so as soon as my eligibility code is granted and sent to me I'm going to sign up and take v7. I'd rather have a high score with v7 then fail v8 because it might have all new questions. Though I would be pissed off it I sign up and take v7 next week and they come out with v8 the following week with the same questions, but 1 bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush.

Well even though its practically the same test I'm still questioning if they officially are calling the passed exam v7 or v8. I heard they are putting the version numbers on the certs, can anyone that has already passed the test in the past month comment on if there is a version number on the cert and if so which number, 7 or 8?

I know on their web site they are still showing ceh v7 pictures, but for their CHFI cert they are showing V8 on their web site. Prometric and vue also are calling it 312-50v7 or EC1-350v7 on their page, so I believe even though the v8 is going to be the same, they haven't officially started calling it v8. Even the person at ECC on the phone said it wasn't out yet.

To get an Eligibility code you need to go to the web site and click on the Eligibility link which will make you download a PDF 5 page form. On that form you fill out your personal info and your work experience then you scan or email it to the information on the form and then pay $100 to ECC and they will verify with your former for current boss that you really have 2 years experience in security and then they will email you a code. There isn't any fast/easy way to get the code, you need to fill out that form and send them $100.

"The Certified Ethical Hacker Version 8 only differs by name and test delivery from the Version 7. The change came because of the ANSI accreditation that the EC-Council went through. The ANSI accreditation required a few, more stringent, delivery techniques in the certification exam process. To be more specific, the ANSI accreditation required that the CEH v8 exam was delivered to each and every student with the same set of guidelines and proctoring procedures. Since the CEH v7 came out prior to the ANSI accreditation, the guidelines were not in place and therefore a new version of the CEH was required.
The CEH v8 does not have any different content or courseware from the CEH v7. Since the CEH Version 8 is the same content as v7, it will not be "launched" or even promoted like the pervious version."

I don't believe v8 is out yet. I called EC Council last week and asked them and they said it hasn't been released and didn't give much info on if the content would be the same or not.

They do have the v8 vouchers for sale at their store, but vue and prometric are only testing v7, so a v8 voucher is pointless at this moment until they start offering the test. I'm in the same boat, I want to take the CEH asap, but I want to wait for v8 because I heard they have the version number on the cert, and if v8 is about to come out any day now then why do I want v7.

What version of certified ethical hacker is these dumps related to CEH v7 or CEH v8?. Any body got the latest dumps for ceh 8 or shall i take the ceh v7, anybody know when ceh 7 expires????????????????????

Passed yesterday, this dump is 90%valid!

100% valid as of today, few things to keep in mind:

Few new questions, pretty similar and straight forward though
Answers options are almost always mixed up
Few of the questions are poorly written and ambiguous, compare answers between this and andrawala.

Dump is valid, passed with 82 %. I was finished in under 40 minutes. Thank you Salah AlAttar and everyone who has helped me in this forum. I would look over the dumps at qadumps.blogspot.in as mentioned previously. I also read CEH Certified Ethical Hacker All-in-One Exam Guide and the Official Certified Ethical Hacker Review guide.

Just loud, I'd say memorize tool syntax imp codes, do a quick review and just go for it. Don't over think or second guess yourself. Seems like there is a high pass rate if you know your stuff. Let us know how it goes.

Xexes: Say you get this cert and you add it in your resume (which I doubt u have one) and in the interview they asked you a basic question and you don't have a clue.. But what is that you have a CEH certification!? Anyone that holds a CEH cert is expected to have above average computer skills. (which are not covered on these dumps) guess what your dumbass will be called out as a cert chaser, and most likely be black balled (meaning anywhere you have your resume active online like Monster/Dice/career builder/etc you will be flagged as fake) To save you the embarrassment DON'T GET THIS CERT. Go get sec+ and a few Microsoft certs and get your ass on the Help Desk. To not even have two years of exp and try to get this cert is just retarded.

All the time that you spend on here trying to figure out how to lie your way through this exam you could have been using it to find FREE material that will help you get the concept with this as a PRACTICE test. Seriously just stop it. Even if you lie your way to the certification you will be found out REAL QUICK in an interview and in the workplace. Please nobody else respond to this person. When EC Council sends you the paperwork to fill out for your application. They ask for your current employer so they can validate years of experience. They will send a email and try to contact via phone. Once your employer says you are good they will send you the paperwork to put your credit card information on. You submit that paperwork they send you a email with a voucher for the test

Just took the test and didn't take the class. ECCouncil verified my 2 years experience through my work.
Xexes: everything is done through email. Your boss or manager will have to verify your 2 years experience but for them to do that you have to pay a $100 non refundable fee to eccouncil . (they will not do a verification until they after charge your credit card) Also they triple check you work for "A" company and it's a legit IT company.

Hey guys, I just passed with a 91%. This dump is totally valid. Only about 5 questions or so were new. Be careful though, because this dump has a handful of wrong answers. I cross referenced questions I thought were wrong with Joker255.

@certman: well i took the class of EC-Council. I got a code in the package of the class that included official EC-Council curriculum + 6 DVD's of Tools + Eligibility code.

I wasn't handed over the code directly. The center where I took the class had the exam center too. I asked the Prometric people to book a date for my exam.

On the day of exam they loaded the exam using my Prometric ID and then I attempted it.

You either have two choices pay for the class (like my company did) or send the form and have your company vouch for you (and yes they will verify its a legit company so the idea of having your girlfriend vouch as a company for you won't work) all the info has been posted here and the same crap is on their eccouncil website
