MS Killer Q61.
With the exception of the memory - which isn't enough for 64bit (2GB required, but it doesn't specify 64 bit) - why does the hard drive need to be increased? 20GB is the requirement for 64bit Windows 7/ 16GB for 32 bit.
I'm finding the MS Killer questions a bit strange in the 'answers'.
Q80 MS Killer.
The answer is C?
That doesn't seem to make sense! How does that work then?
The questions are good but not all of them are correct. I am sure I used the right answers and did not past. at the other site I have to say that there were some problems in the test lab. but that is another story.
so good look to you all.
Passed today with an 850, mostly from studying this dump. It's not perfect, but it is the best of all the ones I've tried here.
Still valid, passed today, few new questions
Passed w/ 975 on monday. still happy :)
few new questions, one was about WDS and boot images.
thanks to @Gill Beast for this dump
Salam gays dumps is valid (100%) in Pakistan
Passed with a very decent mark, in the UK, all questions in the test are found within this VCE..Thank you!
Thank you Gill Beast! Passed with flying colors! 800 just using your dump!
Ich danke Ihnen sehr lieber Herr!
Gill,
Thanks again. I went cheapo and just purchased the Manager, not the designer. Heh.
Take care.
@ James
Q37
I appreciate Professor Messer very much and he's one of the sources I obtain my knowledge from. And you both are right.
But what are we getting out of our knowledge in this case?
In all exam preps that I know, this question is unfortunately limited to one answer per configuration step. There's no way to allocate two target computers (Client1 and Server1) to the configuration step 'Run winrm quickconfig".
So the answers should be:
1. Wecutil.exe qc on Server1
2. Winrm quickconfig on Client1.
3. Add the computer account .. on Client1.
Maybe we get a feedback out of the exam telling us that all those drags and drops are incorrect.
Q49
Agreed, there are different ways to pin a program to the task, bar. And this question has two possible correct answers.
But who tells us, that there's an icon anywhere?
So you have to choose between one correct answer and one even more correct answer. Your choice is C, I stick to D.
Q 71 and Q42
Despite the statement of the nice guy from United Kingdom, I'd answer "Restore from recovery point" in both questions.
Q98
It's not hard to change the answer in the VCE. If you're a little familiar with the VCE Suite, you could do it yourself. If you need help, let me know.
BTW: Purchasing the VCE Suite makes sense for everyone doing Microsoft exams. It's worth every Cent.
Thanks James, exchanging knowledge with you is always informative.
@ Dave
MaxBox Q98
Yes, meanwhile I stick to answer B.
@ Aarchaic
MaxBox Q49
Wow, what a discovery! As I wrote: "To bad! Exhibit is missing."
Shall I paint you some, or are you able to answer the question without?
@ STU13238
Exam B, Q15
The situation in this question is not clear.
But we have to regard, that the new clients oddly are not members of an active directory domain, but are members of a workgroup.
Both modes HOSTEDCLIENT and DISTRIBUTED are functioning in a workgroup.
But configuring the clients for hosted cache mode needs two steps:
1. netsh branchcache set service mode=HOSTEDCLIENT
2. netsh branchcache set service mode=HOSTEDSERVER location='HostedCacheName' clientauthentication=NONE
while configuring the clients for distributed cache mode only needs one step:
1. netsh branchcache set service mode=DISTRIBUTED
I'm not sure, but since only one answer is allowed in this question, I decided to go for answer H.
Msitp, download it from http://www.avanset.com/
:D
Still valid in the UK passed with score of 925. All questions from this dump
Cheers Gill
guys
choose the answer you think is the best!!!!
Passed with 840 thank you gill beast!
@Gill Beast. Firstly, thanks for this.
Can we further discuss:
"MaxBox Q98
Your objections point into the right direction.
It makes no sense to create a Group Policy object and enable the Set BranchCache Hosted Cache mode policy, when the clients have already been configured to run BranchCache in Distributed Cache mode.
Using the elimination method on the answers, I find only one answer, that could make sense under a certain condition:
Supposed, that configuring BranchCache has been done via Group Policy, the steps should have been:
1. Turn on BranchCache.
2. Enable Distributed Cache mode.
3. Configure the client firewall to enable BranchCache protocols.
And that leads me to the view, that step 3 has been omitted.
And that leads me to answer B: Configure firewall exception rules for multicast traffic, inbound and outbound traffic for local UDP port 3702, and inbound and outbound traffic for local TCP port 80.
Agree? "
So, are you saying that the answer is in fact B?
More regarding Q37. :)
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/bb870973%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
Regarding Q37, please note on the technet page you linked me to the following paragraph:
"If you configure a subscription to use the HTTPS protocol by using the HTTPS option in Advanced Subscription Settings , you must also set corresponding Windows Firewall exceptions for port 443. For a subscription that uses Normal (PULL mode) delivery optimization, you must set the exception only on the source computers. For a subscription that uses either Minimize Bandwidth or Minimize Latency (PUSH mode) delivery optimizations, you must set the exception on both the source and collector computers."
So both the source and the collector must have those firewall exceptions when using the PUSH mode, which is source-initiated mode. And one of the things winrm quickconfig does is configure those firewall exceptions. You could do it manually, but winrm quickconfig does it for you. Therefore, running winrm quickconfig should be run on both computers for the source-initiated collection. Professor Messer says the same, just so you know. I don't know if you put any stock in the things he says, but I sure do. :)
Regarding Q49, I disagree. Answer D. is not the only way that works in all cases. In every case in Windows 7, if you pin a program to the taskbar, it's still there after reboot. You never have to have the program open first. Therefore, the answer should be C. Test and you will agree. :)
Thank you for the thoroughly enjoyable correspondence!
James
Hi Gill,
Regarding Q71 and Q42, I see your point. If a guy definitely got the question right, then I guess we have to go with his answer. Either way, it seems to me that restoring from a recovery point or from previous versions can work in both scenarios. Oh well.
Regarding Q98, I agree that the answer for that should be B. Configure firewall exception rules for multicast traffic, inbound and outbound traffic for local UDP port 3702, and inbound and outbound traffic for local TCP port 80. How hard is it to change the answer in the VCE, though? I hope not too hard..
MaxBox Q49 the Exhibits images is not there.
Hello,
I am confused by this question, and I'm hoping someone can give me an explanation. It is (Exam B, Question 15)
Its about branchcache, and it seems to me like the answer would be "run the netsh branchcache set service mode=HOSTEDCLIENT command" but the answer is "Run the Netsh branchcache set service mode=DISTRIBUTED command.". Why is this? From the way they formulate the question it seems like they already have branchcache setup in hosted client mode because there's a server running on the network.
Ok here my issue I want to take the test but I am very confused do I use Microsoft.PracticeTest.70-680.v2013-02-18.by.Nikalesh.45q.vce or Microsoft.Braindump.70-680.v2012-12-01.by.GillBeast.404q.vce please help,
I am located in Canada thanks in advance
@ Vacinden
Exam C, Q2
The answer is right, but the explanation is wrong. You can't upgrade from x86 to x64.
@ James
MaxBox Q37
The answer is correct.
There is no need to run the winrm quickconfig command on the collector computer.
http://technet.microsoft.com/us-en/library/cc748890%28v=ws.10%29.aspx
MSKiller Q49
Sure, there are different ways to keep a Microsoft Word shortcut icon on the Taskbar after the next reboot?
But in this question, the only way that works under all circumstances is shown in answer D.
@ James
MaxBox Q98
Your objections point into the right direction.
It makes no sense to create a Group Policy object and enable the Set BranchCache Hosted Cache mode policy, when the clients have already been configured to run BranchCache in Distributed Cache mode.
Using the elimination method on the answers, I find only one answer, that could make sense under a certain condition:
Supposed, that configuring BranchCache has been done via Group Policy, the steps should have been:
1. Turn on BranchCache.
2. Enable Distributed Cache mode.
3. Configure the client firewall to enable BranchCache protocols.

And that leads me to answer B: Configure firewall exception rules for multicast traffic, inbound and outbound traffic for local UDP port 3702, and inbound and outbound traffic for local TCP port 80.
Agree?
Concerning the difference between GPO and Netsh, both can do the same, one does it more automatically, the other more manually.
@ James
MaxBox Q71 (and Q42 too)
Please ignore SteveDave's explanation. It's not correct.
System protection (which is configured in both questions) regularly creates and saves information about a computer's system files and settings . It also saves previous versions of files that have been modified or deleted. It saves these files in restore points, which are created just before significant system events, such as the installation of a program or device driver.
So my 3rd answer in both questions Q42 and Q71 meanwhile is:
Restore the log file from the recent recovery point.
But a nice guy from the United Kingdom wrote the following:
He had Q71 in the exam.
He choose "Restore the log file from the most recent backup" as 3rd answer.
He scored 100 % in Section 8. Backup and Recovery.
So according to him the 3rd answer is:
Restore the log file from the most recent backup.
Your turn!
This is not only valid hundred percent same questions only the order of Multiple choice questions was changed. in USA

Gil Beast rules! Test still valid in Texas.
Valid in UK - just passed 825/1000! Thanks Gill - this was a huge help.
Some of the scenario questions were different - I didn't expect all the questions in this dump to be the same so put in some study hours as well, using the VCE as a study aid rather than as a cornerstone.
You still need to know your stuff though - simple as that.
passed on march 20 2013 with 825 marks ... thanks Gill Beast
these dumps are still Valid in pakistan..
Thanks Beast for your efforts. this dump helped a lot prepare for my exam. in Uganda it is valid. i have just passed two hours ago but readers need to be critical when reading questions
@ Fresh B
Thank you. I'm have been using Skillsoft, Professor Messser, Itfreetraining and Technet. I did study and I only use these braindumps to fill in the gaps. This is my first microsoft exam and I really want to pass it first time because I have limitit time to study due to my job. Thats probably why I ask such silly question.
Thank you very much for your reply I have expected what you have told me in you answer.
@ Dave
Dave, you need to study all the questions from this dump. Bear in mind that they introduce new questions all the time which are not found here. I got only 35-40 questions from here and they were somewhat changed, not identical. Make sure you understand the answers because some of the answers are pretty close and are kinda tricky. Other study materials are needed as well! Good luck!
Passed exam today with 925 in Romania. Dump is still valid.
only 2 or 3 questions not from dump.
Thank you very much Gill.
Exam C, Q2
Exam states correct answer B (windows 7 Ultimate (x86)). While the explanation states it should be D (Windows 7 Enterprise (x64).
Thank you Gill Beast! This dump is still pretty good! I passed with 950, but there were several different questions, not from here. Good luck everyone!
Very good dumps for Windows 7, I passed with 800, although I haven't study the whole dumps. Thanks to Gill Beast
I achieve about 750 - 850 in every topic of the buzz braindump.. Would that be good enough to pass the exam?
Thompson, use Visual CertExam.
http://www.avanset.com/
I may have stepped on toes because my posts was deleted. I certainly meant no harm. I'll ask my question a different way..what program do you recommend using to view this .vce? Any assistance is appreciated!
passed today with 925. i used cbt nuggets and these dumps. very nice. thanks so much for everyone that worked on this..
Getting tired of me yet? hehe
Q37 is all correct, but you should find a way of allowing the test-taker to put both the server AND the client into the box for "Run winrm quickconfig", as you have to do that on both the source and the client when configuring a source-initiated subscription.
Hi Again,
Another question:
Q49 asks how to "keep a Microsoft Word shortcut icon on the Taskbar after the next reboot".
It says the answer involved having to open Word and then right-click the icon and choose "Pin this program to the taskbar." But I am able to pin the program to the taskbar without opening Word first, and it will still be there after reboot, which means that answer C. Right-click the Microsoft Word icon and choose, "Pin this pgoram to taskbar" should be the right answer. Or am I again missing something??
Thanks again!!
James
Hi Gill,
Thanks for this great dump! I have a few questions for you if you could help me out:
Question Q98 (MaxBox) says that the client computers are configured to run BranchCache in Distributed Cache Mode, but the users are still getting the file from the server. The answer to the problem says to "Create a Group Policy object and enable the Set BranchCache Hosted Cache mode policy."
I thought that the "Set BranchCache Hosted Cache mode policy" GPO was for when the computers are using Hosted Cache Mode, not Distributed Cache mode. At least that's what I've read. Can you please explain what I'm missing here? Also, if we're switching to Hosted Cache mode, why should we not use the netsh? I guess maybe I'm confused also about when to use GP to configure everything and when to use netsh to configure everything, and also when you need to configure the firewalls and when you don't.
Q71 (MaxBox):
The answer has the last step as "Restore the log file from the most recent recovery point". My two questions about that are: 1. How does one know when they should restore from the most recovery point and when they should recover from the most recent backup? and 2. Why is the answer here to restore from the most recovery point, when the answer to another, very similar, question (Q42), has the last step as restoring from a backup, and the explanation for the answer to THAT question says that the phrase "recovery point" is invalid and it should be called a "restore point"?
Thanks for any help you can provide!!
James
Dump 100 valid in uk thanks a lot Gillbeast study all questions and u will pass
Thank God pass 700 but there are several differences
Passed today with 875. Studied mostly from this dump. A lot of questions were from it. Thanks Gill Beast

Thank you anyways and good luck for your next exam ;-)
@ Master
What do you mean by different, if people say 90% are from this dump?
I'm just wondering if I should use my last days to concentrate on the dump questions or rather go trough the books again.
Thank you for your reply master.
I Pass Today With 775

Passed the exam with 825, nearly all the questions came from dump.
Passed a few days ago, apart from 5 questions, all were from this dump. Still valid in UK.
This dump is valid. All my questions were from this. There were some that were different but the same. There were some that had a different selection then others. I know made a few mistakes but i passed with 800. Thank you for this dump Gillbeast. I also chose 0-3 months in the survey and i found that exam quite easy. No 3g questions. All praise is due to Allah.

I choose from internet options enable delete browsing history on exit. I think its the correct answer coz i scored 100% in configuring hardware and application section
Thanks Gill for the dump
I took the exam yesterday and got 950. Thank you Gill Beast for your hard work and input. I got 35-40 questions from here, some slightly changed but same in general. No 3G, Netbios but I got some different questions about event subscription and also XP to Win 7 migration and windows power shell cmdlet. I would also highly recommend reviewing the free pdfs at this site :
http://www.aiotestking.com
Good luck everyone!
Hey guys, I'm writing next week, does anyone know the exact questions from Netbios, wifi, and 3g? I have studied this dump for the last 2 weeks and feel comfertable, but I am worried about the new questions.
Thanks Gill!
Are you guys studying all 404 questions? I failed yesterday with 571. I studied all 404 and would get 750 to 800 every time in VCE so I don't know what happened. All the questions seemed to be in the test so I do not know why i did not pass. Maybe I rushed through it
Just took this exam and passed with 725, about 80-90% of the actual exam was straight from the cert.
Gill Beast is a god among men and should be emperor of Germany.
GUTEN TAG
Hey guys this dump is 100% valid in India
I passed with 725 marks
Passed. Dump valid. Two new questions.
Thank you so much! Passed my exam today
Today just passed the exam with 725 marks. 90% questions are coming from this dumps file. It's still valid.
Passed with 725, second time (first time was 663). Keep in mind I dont this brand new to me only started studying NetBios and 3G question first exam. 2nd exam included WAN question. Otherwise, 95% of questions from this dump were on test.
Thanks Gill
I took the test yesterday in Afghanistan scoring 900. Only two new questions and one question modified for Windows 98 compatibility, which in the dump is for XP. Personally I do not think rating your skills level will affect the questions you get. I rated my skill all medium.
Thank you and best of luck to all
Just came back from vacation last nigh but decided to go in and take the test today! Scored 950 :)
I got about 35-40 questions from this DUMP, if not identical, maybe slightly changed. However, there were several different questions that I do not remember seeing here, but I think several came from this free web site:
http://www.aiotestking.com
If you take the time to go over this DUMP and also cross reference the PDF version from the web site I mentioned, you should be GOLD! I got done in about 70 minutes out of the 130 minutes that they allow for this exam! I did review every single question to make sure I was comfortable with my answer choice. And if you don't go on vacation right before the exam you might even score 1000 :)
THANK YOU GILL BEAST FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND INPUT ! And Good luck EVERYONE !
@Rony and @Fresh B - I wondered that myself as I answered them today.. but another guy in my class who is a total rookie rated himself on the low end, and I rated myself in the top 2 categories in every area, and we seemed to have pretty similar questions. Granted he failed, but he's got literally no experience other than 2 days of lecture. I scored an 825. Tough to know for sure, but that would be a real dick move if MS pushed harder Q's to someone just because their subjective opinion of themselves was higher than someone else's.
Took exam today 11 MAR with a 825. I'd wager that half my Q's were in this dump. 5 other students in my class had similar experience. In addition, probably 250-300 of these Q's weren't in any of our exams. So, relatively accurate answers in here, but there are clearly quite a few retired Q's in here that aren't showing up on tests. Granted, 5-6 examinees isn't exactly a statistically relevant number, but you get the point. 70-686 exam on 13 MAR.. time to study!
@ Rony from South Africa
Honestly, I don't believe that the answer you give during the survey affect in any way the test questions. I think they are randomly generated from a pool of questions for each topic.
@ Gon
OK, we got the right dump, we got the right question and we got the corrected wording.
So what about the right answer? I stick to answer F.
This dump is still valid. Passed on 10 March 2013 .
Thanks Gill for the good work done.
@Gill Beast
Sorry i couldn´t find the explanation number until i print it. I think there was a change between the exam i was taking and this because says there is a change:
102182026330129
Original wording: You configure the client computers to run Branchcache in Distributed Host Mode changed to Distributed Cache mode
guys when you start the exam microsoft ask you questions about all domains to rate your knowledge,on exam i choose low and medium and I got normal questions on my exam and I did not get any new
questions and I got only one branchcach questions
and it was reworded asking about the reqiurements for configurations on client pc,guys before you do this dump read and understand the material first and you can use this dumps as reference it makes easy Goodluck for
everyone
@ Gon
@ Gon
Once more: if you want an answer, please give me the reference number shown in the explanation section of every question.
Hint: those numbers start with GB or (only a few) with 10.
I don't really fancy searching dumps for any accidentally produced numbers or any keywords.
@Gill Beast
Hi Gill thanks for answer. It says Exam A Q219 and Exam A Q333 The first one says section Buzz and the second one Section MSKiller.
They are about an office with Windows Server 2008 R2 installed and clients with Windows 7 Enterprise members of an active directory domain. The file server has the Branchcache feature installed and sales users download a daily 5-GB file stored on a file server. You configure the client computers to run cache in distributed host mode, but users still access the file directly from the file server. What should you do?
In Q219 says Run the netsh branchcache set service mode=DISTRIBUTED command.
In Q333 says Create a Group policy object and configure Set porcentage of disk space used for client computer cache option.
Just passed today. 850. Thankfully, no questions on NetBios or 3G as I've been seeing in the comments. Lucky me huh. Thanks Gil.
@ Gon
Sorry, I can't address questions 219 and 333 you are talking about. To refer to any question, please use the number that you find in the explications. It starts with GB or with 10.
Disregard..got a newer version. This site is SWEET--good luck to all.
I keep getting error msg when i try to open this vce. i've downloaded it twice. i've used GrilBeast files before..any suggestions. using vce 1.9 version. Error says the file is in format older than my current version..HELP
Hi everybody, Questions 219 and 333 are identical but the answers are differents. Sorry if somebody comments it before, i didn´t find it. Some help? Thanks a lot from Spain

Super!! Passed my exam handsomely. Valid one.
Still valid, just passed the exam with 850 in Spain. 5-8 new questions, including the NETBIOS and 3G questions.
I think the possible answer for NETBIOS is:
1. Open TCP/IPv4 properties from network adapter
2. Open advanced properties from TCP/IPv4 properties window
3. Select Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP
Thanks Gill Beast
@ ASD
Exam A, Q66
See it the other way around.
Use the slider in UAC (one of the first three settings) to ensure that you are notified before any harmful applications can make unwanted changes to your system.
Set the Admin Approval Mode policy to ensure, that you are not prompted for elevated privileges when adding files to %programfiles&/app1.
And keep in mind: UAC is one of Microsoft's new darlings.

Exam B, Q16
What do you think is the Windows Server 2008 R2 (explicitly declared as R2) doing round there? And why did somebody configure Branchcache? All just for fun?
Admittedly, the scenario is a little unclear. But it describes a file server with branchcache configured hosting files and clients, whose access to the files has to be ensured and that's a classical Branchcache one.
And the solution?
Just to keep the Branchcache feature simple:
If there is a server, the answer is hosted, if there's no server, the answer is distributed (normally).
since I took my test on 20 february 2012 I log into my mcp profile but my certificate is not loaded yet.anyone with the same
Problem
@ Gill Beast
aw,sorry for the q21.I haven't seen your answer after the q66
Thanks
@ Gill Beast
Thanks a lot for the reply.
About Q66.I know how UAC work but if i slide the bar to "never notify" it'll elevate without prompting. But doing so will go against the condition " The solution must prevent harmful applications from making unwanted changes to the system " no?
I mean,if i change UAC settings i'll open the door to other applications to act without prompting for elevation, and THIS is dangerous for the system.
Now i'm checking the slide of UAC and maybe the step "notify only when an app modify system setting" could meet the criteria.
But you know,in similar situation i will change permission,it seems more secure to me to work only on a folder permission than modify a system setting (am i completely wrong?)
What about the other question below (Q21)?What do you think about?
Exam B, Q16
nowhere in question there's not hosted server, just file servers with windows server 2008 R2. for this reason i think that is answer distributed, not hosted client. hosted client is using when in branch office there's hosted server.
@ ASD
Exam C, Q21
No, it's answer A: Applocker executable rule.
Direct quote Microsoft:
AppLocker is a new feature in Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 that advances the features and functionality of Software Restriction Policies.
Using AppLocker, you can
- control the following types of applications: executable files (.exe and .com), scripts (.js, .ps1, .vbs, .cmd, and .bat), Windows Installer files (.msi and .msp), and DLL files (.dll and .ocx).
_ define rules based on file attributes derived from the digital signature, including the publisher, product name, file name, and file version.
AppLocker helps reduce administrative overhead and helps reduce the organization's cost of managing computing resources by decreasing the number of help desk calls that result from users running unapproved applications.

@ Fresh B
@ ASD
Q66: No, it's answer B: UAC settings
The UAC settings can be done with a slider that allows to adjust UAC notifications between Always Notify and Never Notify.
The first three settings notify you before programs make changes to your computer or Windows.
The UAC policies consist of 10 policies and one of them is the Admin Approval Mode for the built-in Administrator account. If vou enable this and the built-in Administrator account, which is disabled by default, privilege elevation occurs automatically without a UAC prompt.

only one Question I couldn't recognize
@ ASD from Italy
Hey, I agree with you and I think this answer is WRONG.
Exam A Q.66 the correct answer should be D. Modify the permissions of the %programfiles%app1 folder.
This DUMP was great just took it and all questions from this DUMP was on the exam. Thanks GIL now onto the next exam.
am writing tomorrow. deos anyone know what the 3g and netbios questions are about?
Thanks a million Gill Beast. Passed today (5/3/2013) using this dump. Very valid in Nigeria. ALL questions from this dump. only 2 or 3 new ones (WWAN and Netbios). Thanks again. Oh! and please if you're taking the exam, there were about 4 questions on branchcache too. but using this dump very well, you are sure to pass
Passed today @ 925 thanks a lot Gill.
exam A Q66
You have a computer that runs windows 7.
You attempt to add files to %programfiles%app1 and receive a prompt to elevate your privileges.
You need to ensure that you can add files to %programfiles%app1 without receiving a prompt for elevated privileges.
The solution must prevent harmful applications from making unwanted changes to the system.
What should you do?
A - Enable the built-in administrator account
B - Modify the user account control settings
C - Add your user account to the local power user group
D - Modify the permissions of %programfiles%app1 folder
Correct answer is B.Why?
Modifying the user account control settings consist of modify the settings for any application that i intend to run.In this case i'm going against the last condition of the question "The solution must prevent harmful applications from making unwanted changes to the system." no? (assuming that applications in the app1 folder are considered as not harmful, the question isn't clear on this point)
Isn't D the most correct answer?.Modifying the permission grant me the ability to add files without prompting and grant UAC the ability to prompt for elevation at every other application that i intend to run.
Thanks for any reply
Exam c q21
You have a computer that runs windows 7.
Your company has three custom applications named app1.exe app2.exe and app3.exe
The applications have been digitally signed by the company.
You need to create a policy that enable only applications that have been digital-sugned by the company to run.
What should you create?
A - An applocher executable rule
B - An Applocker Windows Installer Rule
C - A software restricion policy and a certificate rule
D - A software restricion policy and a hash rule
Really,i don't understand why the correct answer for this question is A.
The question says explicitly about a digital signed policy. So i assume that the best answer that meet this criteria is C because the certificate.
What i am missing?
Anyway, awesome work for this dump.It helps a lot.
Hi, I know that probably I should not ask here but I can't find answer anywhere. Do You know why all Oracle session is missing? It is not available anymore.
@ Win7Champ
Exam B, Q61
'Scan for hardware changes" is a first choice answer.
But since the printer is connected through the LPT port and since it doesn't appear in the Device Manager, I suppose, it's an older (legacy) printer. The Windows 7 driver store includes a small collection of drivers for legacy devices, mostly older printers, modems, scanners, and other oddball devices that don't use Plug and Play connections.
So my answer is: 'Add legacy hardware'.
@ gogi100
Exam B, Q2
I think, we should choose the 'Microsoft Way', even though some of us would prefer to boot from the Window 7 installation media.
So Step 2 is: 'Launch a Windows 7 installation from within Windows Vista by using setup.exe.'
Exam B, Q16
BranchCache is a feature that speeds up branch office access to files hosted on remote networks by using a local cache. Depending on which BranchCache mode is used, that cache is either hosted on a server running Windows Server 2008 R2 or in a distributed manner among clients running Windows 7 on the branch office network.
In this question's scenario, we have a Windows Server 2008 R2 and BranchCache configured.
So the answer is 'HOSTEDCLIENT' and not 'DISTRIBUTED'.
Please learn more about BranchCache. There's a bunch of BranchCache questions in the exam.
Passed the exam 03/02/2013. Dump still valid. Most of the exam from this Dump. 900/1000
Passed from the UK with 800. Dumps 100% valid. I didn't see any of the newer questions, doesn't mean there aren't any!
Thanks Gill Beast
Hi everyone I passed the exam today (4-march-13), 50 questions in total. The dump is valid, There were some other or in an other format asked questions. I also got had the questions about NETBIOS (TCP) and 3G (WWAN).
Lost of questions about Branchcache, the first 5 or 6 where about this topic!

-add a hard disk to the client computer
-boot the client computer from the win 7 installation media
-choose the custom installation option during the win 7 installation
exam B Q16
answer is run the netsh branchcache set service mode=hostedclient
why answer is not
run the netsh branchcache set service mode=distributed
HOUSTON -- This dump is still valid. I just passed this morning. I also got the two questions over NETBIOS and the 3G. Be careful because most of the multiple choice answers have been rearranged. The wording is still the same but the order is different. Do not rely on the answers to this dump alone. Understand each question and you will easily notice how the right answer was moved but is still there. Good Luck Everyone. Thanks Gill
Valid, passed 800
Passed the exam with more than 450 score in USA. If you just want to pass the exam, this dump is valid. I saw a few new questions. If you really want to understand the course, you'll have to study first. I bought "TrainSignal DVDs" and later on, I downloaded this dump.
Hi everyone i passed today thanks to Gill. Most question was exactly same and some different. from Toronto Canada
Passed today, thanks to this dump. I had the Netbios question and the 3G wireless question. A few of the questions were worded differently, but the content was spot on. Thanks!
@ gogi100
No, it's answer B.
Please read about using link-local addresses.
Fe80:44df. is the IP address of Computer2, but %10 is the Interface ID of the pinging Computer1.
i would want to know why is answer on this question under B . i think that answer is
A.

@gill i cleared the win 7 exam on 21st feb and i got mcp user id and temporary access code how to download the certificate through this
very helpful, passed it with 975 today, all questions is from this dump. Thanks a lot!
Hi all.
Here is how I understand Q41 and why is answer C a correct answer:
Since you have discovered that your IP address is an APIPA address, this should make you think that there is a problem with your DHCP server, meaning there ain`t no point doing ipconfig /renew but rather a manual IP address assignment.
GillBeast is 100% right, answer C is correct.
@ Fresh B
@ Stuart Fulcher
Partially I agree with you both.
But please no assumptions in such questions, which not implicitly reflect situations out of the real world.
'What if the computer is a laptop' is irrelevant.
'What if the DHCP server is not functional' is irrelevant too.
But 'you need to ensure.' is relevant.
A single subnet with 20 clients does not mandatory need a DHCP server.
An amount of 20 static IP Addresses is still reasonable for a network administrator.
It's just one sheet of paper.
So I stick to answer C.
@ Stuart
Here is how I understand this and, please, correct me if I am wrong:
A DHCP server (if one is installed on the network) assigns dynamic IP addresses at startup, and the addresses might change over time. Dynamic IP addressing is the default configuration. APIPA is a DHCP failover mechanism for local networks. With APIPA, DHCP clients can obtain IP addresses when DHCP servers are non-functional.In this case the computer has a 169.254.34.12 address within that range. Running ipconfig /renew command is not likely to make a difference and it does not guarantee an IP address assignment. The question specifically states to ENSURE that the computer is able to communicate with the other computers and the only solution here is to assign a static TCP/IP address.
I hope that helps. .
Can someone explain how this answer makes ANY sense?
Exam A, Q41
Your network consists of a single IPv4 subnet. The subnet contains 20 computers that run Windows 7.
You add a new computer named Computer1 to the subnet.
You discover that Computer1 has an IP address of 169.254.34.12
You cannot connect to other computers on the network. Other computers can connect to each other
You need to ensure that you can connect to all computers on the network.
What should you do?
A. turn off windows firewall
B. Run ipconfig.exe /renew
C. Configure a static TCP/IP address.
D. Run netsh.exe interface ipv4 install.
Now it says that the answer is C to configure a static TCP/IP address. I completely disagree with doing this as a solution, and the best answer seems like B to me. What if the computers a laptop, when they go to the coffee shop after work, their going to have a static IP and not be able to connect.
I think that the first step any technician would take in this scenario is to run an ipconfig /renew
In the real world I would never configure a static IP on a clients computer as a solution, static IP's are for servers, printers, voip boxes, etc, NOT REGULAR WORKSTATIONS. If the client got an APIPA address the first step I would take would be to refresh and see if its a one off, and do an ipconfig /renew.
Does anyone know the Q&A for new question 3G ICS over WIFI ? or what exacly question is.
it is still valid in india. 825/1000

Links here is not working again.. it is blank when u click on them
@ Mike
The steps to disable NetBios over TCP/IP in Win 7 are :
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Under Network and Internet, click View network status and tasks.
Click Change adapter settings.
Right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
In the This connection uses the following items list, double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), click Advanced, and then click the WINS tab.
Click Use NetBIOS setting from the DHCP server, and then click OK three times.
There is also a NetBios Helper Service which can be disabled from here:
Click on Start > type "services.msc" in the search field and press enter.
In the "Services" window, look for the following entry:
TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper
Double click and set the "Startup type" as "Disabled"
I have not researched yet the question about setting up a 3G ICS over WIFI enabled desktops in a work group.
@Mr Wayne
Your voucher is for "Microsoft IT Academy Exams (073)".
And yes, the questions are the same.
@ Mike
Try to study by topics (sections) too. This helps to understand the stuff.
I am about to take the exam. The voucher lists the exam as 73-680. They are both labeled Windows 7 Config. Is this the same test and the questions for both?
@Gill
Thank you!! Starting now, I am going to study all 404 questions every single day, until the day, That I will do the second shot.
@Everyone
Does any one has or known the answer of the new questions?
@ Mike
no, there is no new dump, only those three new questions mentioned here.
Good luck for your second shot.
I did test today, and I failed with 644, There are simulation like drop & drag questions, 3G. NETBIOS, I studied all dump, not hard enough.
@Gill
Do you have a new upload with new questions it. If dont, Its OK
This dump is still valid
Valid in Germany. Got 900/1000 and had the new questions about 3G and disabling NETBIOS, too.
This dump is 100% valid in the Netherlands.
Passed with 920 today.
Dump still valid, got 925/1000 3 days ago!
Thanks a lot Gill!
Gill - I cannot thank you enough. Even though I am a great techie, I suck at exams. If I had not found and studied your dump, I was sure to fail. I passed on 22nd Feb with 725/1000, only because my memory is bad. All 48 of my exam questions from this dump.
2 new questions: (1) How to disable NetBIOS (2) How to configure (WWAN) using 3G adapters. Both of these questions were MULTIPLE CHOICE. So, it seems they have already applied different variants of the same question/topic.
Thank you once again for your time and effort.
Cheers from Canada.
@ Joe
This would be a great honour.
But please, have a think about it. There are nicer names.
still valid in Kuwait. Passed today with an 850. Studied nothing but this vce.
I'm naming my next son Gill Beast
UPDATE: Now that I had a chance to go through a number of this questions I can tell you that it is still CURRENT! I came a cross several questions from yesterday that I answered wrong during the test. Had I examined this braindump beforehand I would have definitely scored in the 900s. Good Luck everyone!
I did not use this braindump today, I used paid ones from two different sites and I can tell you that they were way off. There were barely any familiar questions and I had to brainstorm almost every single question and answer. So I got 690, failed. I started going through some of the questions here and I already see familiar ones from today. This stuff is great and I am going to retake the exam next week with more confidence. I remember the new questions that someone mentioned previously. " What are the necessary steps to prevent a computer from using NETBIOS at all? The 3G question was about a computer with a external 3G modem and three wifi enabled computers in a work group. You need to determine the steps to enable Internet connection sharing on all computers in the work group by just using the 3G connection." Wish I remembered all the answers..
Passed today with a score of 900/1000. All of the questions I had are in this dump. I didn't get 100% because I couldn't remember all of the answers.
Thank you Gill Beast and the other dump makers.
Hi guys
I got the exam on 21/02/2013

once again thanks Gill .
Passed today with a score of 800.
Still valid, but some questions are described different.
Also some new questions like the netbios question.
Thanks Gillbeast and others always the best!
@ gill thanks a lot.this is my first global certificate i passed today with this dump for u r great work i could see upto 5 new question .
@ UKD
Yes, comparing questions Exam B Q42 & Q71 is irritating.
I would now answer both questions alike:
Q42:
1. Open Window Explorer.
2. Open the log file properties and select the Previous Versions tab.
3. Restore the folder from the most recent backup.
Q71:
1. Open Window Explorer.
2. Open the log file properties and select the Previous Versions tab.
3. Restore the log file from the most recent backup.
Explanation to Q71:
Please ignore SteveDave's explanation. It's not correct. The absence of the term Recovery Point in this question does not obligatory mean that you cannot use Recovery Points.
Instead, the coherence is different:
System protection (which is configured in both questions) regularly creates and saves information about a computer's system files and settings . It also saves previous versions of files that have been modified or deleted. It saves these files in restore points, which are created just before significant system events, such as the installation of a program or device driver.
So my 3rd answer for Q71 would have been:
"Restore the log file from the recent recovery point."
But a nice guy from the United Kingdom wrote the following:
He had Q71 in the exam.
He choose "Restore the log file from the most recent backup" as 3rd answer.
He scored 100 % in Section 8. Backup and Recovery.
So according to this the 3rd answer is:
"Restore the log file from the most recent backup."
All clear?
It´s amazing. 100% Valid in Brazil .
I passed today with 900/1000.
Congratulations for the job
This dump is still valid in Eastern Europe.
Be aware what you read because some of those questions are little tricky and they do differ (as you probably know) regarding order or the interpretation.
Anyway good luck and thank you Gill!
passed 750 thx
passed 750700 thx
Still 100% valid. I never completly went through all 404 questions and got a 900.
Thanks for all the help Gill Beast, you are a hero, im taking my exam next week.
I dont understand the difference between questions 42 & 71 in exam B. They are both drag and drop to do with previous versions. In question 71 the final drag and drop selection is "restore folder from previous backup" and in the explanation it says:
look at the wording - it is not the most recent recovery point. if you look at the wording in the previous file dialog box it says :
previous versions come from the most recent restore point or from windows backup. the word recovery point is not used anywhere to describe a restore point.
But in question 42 the proposed answer to an almost identical scenario is "restore log file from the recent recovery point".
If the explanation in 71 says dont use "recent recovery point" in regards to previous versions how come its the answer to the question in Q42?
Once again thanks for all the help :)
@ Gill Beast
thank you
@ Tom

Question and answer form a double negation. It means "none of the tools are not Windows PE tools", or to express it positively, all of the tools are Windows PE tools.
BTW: all questions have reference numbers in the explanation section which start with either 10 or GB.
Please use this numbers to refer to when asking your next question.
