One of the questions in exam C asks:

which of the following is not a windows PE tool?

none of the above

Ans says the answer is 'none of the above'. Why isnt Diskpart a windows PE tool? Ive used it from Windows PE many times to format disks before applying WIM files with imagex.

After a 3-day course I tried the provided test exams, they were crap in my opinion.

Sorry, I don't understand your question. There's no coherences between Q27 and Q85 in Exam B and there's nothing about "recovery point".
Maybe you check the random setting of VCE Manager?

The explanation in q85 says you should not pick 'recovery point' : the word recovery point is not used anywhere to describe a restore point.

But the answer for q27 is to use 'recovery point'

hello friends today i given my exam, came through the 3 questions which tend to change the answers(rephrased or altered). I think, i lost the marks in those probably, i secured 935/1000/
I suggest every one to please understand the questions before u answer.

Let's consider the causes:

1. There are folks who know too little about VCE Manager.
They are not able to select topics, scenarios or even all the questions to study them.

2. There are folks who have too little knowledge to pass the exam.
The don't recognize existing questions and pretend them to be new.
They get thrown off the track, as soon as answers are worded differently or are twisted.

And to top it all:

3. There are folks who confound the exams.
The pretend to have discovered questions about Windows 8 in exam 70-680.

Let's look at the facts:

Windows 7 and Windows 8 are treated in different exams.

The dump is still valid.

There are three new questions mentioned:

1. One question about how to check permissions for a folder

2. One Select & Place question about an Ad hoc network for a WWAM card

3. One Select & Place question about disabling NETBIOS which almost goes like this:

You have on Windows 7 with one network interface.
You need to prevent a NEtBIOS application from running and connecting to the internet.
What should you do? (To answer .)

Answer:
1. Open TCP/IPv4 Protocol Properties
2. Click Advance Tab
3. Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP

Dump is still valid in California. Passed with 925. All questions were from this dump and were worded almost exactly as the dump has. You have to study all 404q. I made the mistake of only studying the Buzz dump the first time I took it and failed with a 680. My exam did not have any questions at all about Windows 8. Did not get the new questions about NETBIOS so I can't provide any feedback there.

Passed today with 850. Dump if fairly accurate. On a side note, memorize the configuration of the dialog boxes for the interactive screens, you have to put in more info than is requested in this dump.

Need some people to comment on the validity. There's no way, they're going to put Win 8, in the subject matter. I haven't read one Microsoft Press book that mentions Win 8 in their 70-680 books.

I don't buy the invalid comments. Wikki says she had few questions. Once again it looks like people are selecting the Buzz exam in the radio button underneath exam mode instead of taking all 404 q's. Most of the q's w/multiple answers are in the MaxBox dump.

Ronny, can you please tell us how you know there are Windows 8 q's in the exam when you haven't taken it yet? Took the exam two days ago and your statement is incorrect. This exam is valid.

guys the test has been updated with new question that include windows 8,I don't know who have the material that include win7 and win7 stuff,even if we study hard the only thing we are going to learn is win7 stuff,but i know someone out there will upload the new dump,and i will taking my test in 3 to 4 weeks time,thanks alot Gill for the work you have done for everyone,less hope that you will do the same with this new exam

Only 20% from this dump is valid in the UK. lots of new questions.

Failed today , 620, 50% of the new questions were added, lost of drag and drop and also lots of new questions with 7 to 8 options answers, my advice to all of you , we gonna have to study just dont rely on these dumps untill we get solid stuff out.

The exam is the same in all locations. But since the germans have a very good german source for studying, their results don't appear very often here.
In your case an advise is quite simple: Do it where you want, but do it in your native language.

Don't panic and read the actual comments.
Up to now there is only one new question prooved: that NETBIOS one.
And up to now all comments that only 5 or 15 or 20 questions are from this dump have prooved wrong.

I found this braindump last night and went through it all night and the next morning. I just got back from my exam and this definitely gave me an edge. I scored 860! I passed with ease :)

Study all 404 questions and study by sections. This helps to understand the stuff.

Until now only one comment has been proved:
There is on new question, that NETBIOS one.

All Statements about lots of new questions have been proofed wrong by other guys' comments.

And - sorry to say - your statement that many questions were not in this dumps results from the fact that you either didn't study all the questions or you didn't study enough to identify the questions.

@Gill Beast-Thanks very much mate-mange to pass the exam with a good score-940 :). Just like other i had only one new question- NetBios- it a drag and drop question-and the answers are smt like:
1.open TCP/IPv4 protocol properties,
2.Click advance tab
3.disable NetBios over TCP/IP
I'm sure that's the right answer because I got 100% for 'configuring network' section.

Few post down I mentioned about possible error in question B71 and I was "lucky" enough to get this question:/.
I can confirm that the last part of the correct answer should be '..most recent backup' not recovery point.
Again I'm sure about that as I got 100% in 'configuring backup and recovery options' section as well.
Anyhow thats my contribution for your great help!!

@Gill Beast - I think I found a mistake in one of the questions- B71 -i think the answer should be '..most recent backup' not '..recent recovery point'

have a look at very similar question- B42 -it is almost the same situation but the answer is different and STEVEDAVE explanation for this question mentions 'recovery point' as wrong answer.

Thanks for your long explication from that well known german source. To cut things short, you're absolutely right and in english the explanation is as follows:

Administrators can configure Group Policy settings to enable backup of BitLocker and TPM recovery information. Before configuring these settings, as a domain administrator you must ensure that the Active Directory schema has the necessary storage locations and that access permissions have been granted to perform the backup.
And the first step is to add an access control entry (ACE) so that backing up TPM recovery information is possible.
The procedure to do so is? Right! Cscript Add-TPMSelfWriteACE.vbs.
After that you can enable the local policy settings to back up Bitlocker and TPM recovery information to AD DS.

Select the Turn on BitLocker backup to Active Directory option in local policy on the portable computers" as a response in your dump response given by my source, however: "Run the cscript Add-TPMSelfWriteACE.vbs script on the portable computers." as a correct answer.
