I just wanted to let everyone know i passed the exam today with a score of 849 so did Chris. We used this dump and Moefriend 188q. All the sims from this dump were on the exam we only saw one new question about which edition supports MIS i forget what i stood for. Anyway I wish the result of you luck on when you take the exam! oh for what it's worth, I scored 892/1000 just using the dump on this thread, and the files from 4shared.com (also in this thread), and shussans sims. I also looked at http://www.youtube.com/user/geekondoor . he had about 10 sims as well, though I didn't get any of them, but it may be helpful.

site hasn't been letting me post. b/w the most recent 8-16 download and the other 188 question file, this covers everything! I would recommend using the 188 question file first as I only went through about 100 of the questions in the new file before the exam and I saw some wrong answers (though I saw some corrected answers as well), probably a good idea to use both and then lookup conflicting answers for now.
I had no drag and drop, and a lot of sims. pretty much almost everyone in these files. There was 2 CA sims I don't recall seeing one about a UserTemplate copy that isn't allowing key recovery (think you just need to tick archive enryption as there are no more specific info), one where you have no CA and need to use preshared key "Autenticate1", the DNS sim starts you looking at a diagram of the network and you can click on each server to interact, you only need to click on server 1 to configure the dns forwarder. Had a VPN sim where Sales_user remote access policy is listed third in the list of remote access policies and you need them to be able to connect via vpn; just had to rightclick the sales_user policy and "move up", two times until it was listed first in the list.

@moe: To answer new SIM #1, that's pretty easy right click on the rule that allows the group to connect, and click the option move up, repeat till this is the first rule in the list (I Know I had 100% on routing and remote access)

To answer new Sim#2: select preshared key and input the text just as it is written in the exam

That answers both sims and this answer is correct

There are 2 new Sims.
New Sims #1. You set up a VPN so the sales group can connect to Server1 but they cannot you need to make sure that ONLY the Sales group can connect to Server1
New Sims #2. You have a main office and a branch office you do not have PKI setup but you need to authenticate the users. In the Simulation question it provides you with the "String" Authenticated 1

Its C when creating the file exam designer cut the answer off so it defaults to the last.

As said before if you find a mistake mention it but provide information for correct answers. Another dump is not a valid source since dumps do have wrong answers

Sorry mate, my fault. I get it now that you have to step down the installation and run in 32 bit mode, is that correct?

The confusing part of Q19 is that it doesn't say what you are adding to what.
i.e. you already have a 32 bit server and you want to add 2 * 64 bit servers. It just states that you have 3 servers all with a single network card. I understand that you cannot have a cluster with different platforms.
Does the question assume that in this scenario you would ideally want to run all servers in 64 bit mode therefore install a card in the 32 bit machine?

and for MCSE you need to pass 299 and 293.

I'm sure you are correct with your question. The comparison sheet I saw states that standard edition only partially supports media services. This was last updated in March 2003!
Does anyone think that it could be Standard edition as it is actually partially supported. I'm sure the question is looking for the edition that supports all features of media services.

jon that is a great question. My guess is because they say the server is secure so im taken they already have this policy in effect. Speaking from the time i took the exam, i know it will only let you change the settings which the windows is already open if you try to do anything else it will say " this operation is disabled"

another good question is on shusshan internet connection sharing sim he checks off advance/ allow users to connect to the internet through this computer then he clicks settings to show us all the services check boxes are checked off but when i took the exam they were not are we suppose to turn them on? For those who took the exam can you give us some feedback

Does anyone know why shusshan does not assign any policy on the integrity sim? Surely the secure server policy (require security) should be assigned after the integrity part has been configured?? any ideas??

@kebsu--I have been debating on which to go with because you can accomplish the task of dropped packets with both NLB command line and counters but i believe the key work in the question is "virtual" so NLB command line is a better answer

Its great that we are questioning all the answers to find the correct one because at the end of the day we all want the same thing which is to pass the exam.

The final thing we all need to work on is either videos or instructions for the 2 new sims which are:
To answer new SIM #1, that's pretty easy right click on the rule that allows the group to connect, and click the option move up, repeat till this is the first rule in the list (I Know I had 100% on routing and remote access)

To answer new Sim#2: select preshared key and input the text just as it is written in the exam

Jon: good point. Reevaluating based on your suggestion, I have modified as follows:

Web server: outside network
VPN and Forwarding Mail server: perimeter network.
Email and file server: internal network.

Also, yesterday afternoon I was reading a paper regarding Streaming servers: it comes to my attention that Streaming is only available on Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter editions. Also, only the latest two support multicasting (clustering?). That question has to be modified (question J21).

Can anyone clarify the working.
I was thinking that the VPN server should be located in the perimeter network and a port opened on the firewall allowing access to the internal network for authenticated users. Also the question states that internal company resources should not be directly accessed from the Internet, so should the email & scheduling server really be placed in the perimeter network? I was under the impression that a perimeter network (DMZ) is the closest point to the Internet for a company. I personally believe that the placement of the VPN server and the email & scheduling server should be switched. I cant see how you would need to put an email server and a forwarding email server both in the same place.
Maybe I am wrong, can anyone shed any light onto this?
