Yes. These exams are the same. The 72 prefix indicates its an academic exam (for students). Normally these exams have discounts for students.

I took the 72-450 because I'm still a student.

Omrex well done great job. so you also followed All questions from MrE and 21 new questions? anything new not seen in these two dumps and anything questions you feel could have different answers. i want to try this exam on Tuesday i think.

I did the exam yesterday using Carlos concept and score 838/1000. After failing it twice, the pain behind this is that i had to pay for another exam but thank God I have scaled through.

Carlos one thing i noticed the 21 new question and answers you have put togetter is what i am looking over and looking at the q&a from your recent post today question 24 you say you used answer A but correct answer i thought and says it's correct is answer D and there are couple more i think like that where your answer you recently added after passing is bit different then the 21 new from Carlos Microsoft.selftestengine.70-450.v2011-06-09.by.Carlos-Brazil.21q.vce

Sulaiman great job in passing the 450 exam. may i ask what dumps did you use and did you only study from these dumps to pass or did you use other resources as well?

I just passed the exam, all questions were there but the answers are not relaible so please try to answer those questions by yourself.
I got 792 out of 1000. there were 50 question and only 2 were strange.

I recomend you to read all the posts from this page (if you didn't) because there's a plenty of important information, good opinions. Most of people are using the answers from MrE dump and the 21 questions with answers from some people who posted their opinions. Good luck!

I remember question and it says use of a single sql vip whish means answer has to be 2 node activepassive cluster because it only requires one sql vip . if you create a two node activeactive it will require an additional sql vip for the second instance. will also require seperate san drives for second instance as they connect share same drive.

Back to the discussion that "@Lukchard from Hong Kong" initiated at May 22 2011, 9:01 PM, I think the answer would be C because I think the solution would be to force the slow queries to use only one CPU. That way those slow queries won't have CXPackets waits anymore.

Based on this explanation, I think the solution for the question's scenario would be preserv the ‘the maximum degree of parallelism' to SQL Server 2008 run with multiple CPUs and set each query that experience CXPACKET waits to use only one CPU.

I passed the exam with 815 marks. Three new questions.
For those of you looking for the 21 new question, it alredy contained in Haywire 73 Questions. In other word, Mr E 52 questions add up with the new 21 questions to give 73 questions in Haywire.
So you don't need to waste your time on repetitive questions of over 314 by Phillip.
For the 21 questions I used Sule's answers.

Just passed the exam. Got 861. All questions were in this dump, except maybe 1 or 2 new. As for 21 new questions, most of them were on the test. I used my own answers after some research.

Passed today around 800. 98%questions this dump which is combined MrE and Emir, but not sure all the answers are correct.

Hi "passedThursday", did you find the same Questions for both attempts? How many questions are same? like 100% same or 80%.

I just barley passed 2 days ago using these questions and ensuring that the answers were correct based on reading and everything I could find on the Internet. 14 of the questions have incorrect answers. Either the majority of blogs and technet articles are incorrect or the test is flawed in deciding the correct answer. 4Q wrong for Instances, 2Q wrong Server Security, 3Q wrong for high availability, 2Q wrong for backup and recovery, 2Q wrong for moniotring, 2Q wrong for maintain and managing databases. Also the answers are more close than in the VCE. Affinity answers should no longer be in VCE. When selecting performance and monitor answers, the VCE has 1 BEST answer, but the other 3 to choose from do not belong. The answers should be correct -with just 1 being the BEST andswer for the question. The answer for CDE (or whatever) should be ADE (or whatever) The correct answer is in other vce's here and on the Net. Doesn't matter what is correct or not, the test wants ADE. good luck and you MUST know performance monitor, sysmon, data collector, dynamic events, etc. The answers are 3 of 4 correct- not like 1of 4 on the vce. Last exam was in broken English - this retake was in plain easy to read English with correct grammer and punctuation. First time sucked! reminded me of chatting with programming friends from other countries and trying to figure out what the heck they are trying to say. Also VCE English is WAY better than the 1st exam and much worst than the 2nd.

Guys: regarding the question below from Emir's 21 questions in the pdf, I think the answer should be

@Lukchard - I have looked over this one and been debating the answer as well. I think it should be D. You would only need to add it to the queries that are taking a while as it does state some are running fast. Use it for the slow ones to speed them up. The other way will affect all queries that are being run. Anyone else got and idea?

Failed the exam two days ago. These are the questions, plus about 5-10 new ones. I do not think these answers are correct. I googled and none of the new questions are around. I actually got like a zero in one area and about 10% in another!!! I actually thought I would easily pass, guess I do not know nearly as much as I thought I did. The exam was actually fun though - no like the prevous 11 or so that I've already taken.
