Just barely passed today with 745. forget the dumps, they may give you an idea what questions look like but ignore the answers, most of them are wrong. About half were questions that aren't even in the dump. got just one with MDX expression, about 5-6 questions with answers as options in drop-down boxes. had to simply guess maybe 8-9 questions. good luck to you all!

Hello, Has anyone passed this exam, where can we find an updated exam dump with the new questions and new case studies. I have the exam dump with 176 questions and it only has 6 case studies. There should be about eight if I am correct including the Datum case study.

Passed with 742. Had around 6 case studies mostly were from this 2 case studies were new use your judgement in handling the new ones. almost 70 to 75 percent valid from this dump, assuming u r 100 percent thorough with this dump read it word by word and revise. Jeniffer thanks for the tip(don't panic) I remembered you when I got the new case study I am confident that I got half of it right after reading the case study that way it increases your chances of clearing the exam.

I passed today with 800. I had 4 case studies from that dump. Each had 4 questions. 2 new case studies with 4 questions each. One was with called Datum Corporation. The mixed part had 30 questions. I would say 7-8 new questions but similar to these in that dump. That dump is good and covers 60-70% of the exam questions.

Failed today with 593,last minute preparation, did see a few new questions, dump seems to be valid but not sure about the answers.

Passed with 750. There was 6 case studies all from this dump and 30 multiple choice/drop-down questions ~20 from this dump.
10 new questions were very simple:
- cube partition design
- dwh hierarchy and relation design

There are many wrong answers (~60% valid). It is highly recommended to check msdn/technet sites.

About Tabular hardware question: very odd one-You have model 400GB in compressed state.
Your goal is to minimize hardware and licesing costs.The options are:
1. Azure machine with 512GB and 32 cores
2. Server with 2 sockets 8 cores each and 792 GB of Ram.
3. Server with 4 sockets and 32 cores and 792GB Ram.
4.32 cores with 256GB Ram

Cleared exam today. I would say this dump is pretty much valid, provided on how you answer the questions during the initial survey. I had a lot of new questions during the first attempt as I had selected less than 6 months experience, however, today, I selected no experience and received very few new questions which is very easy. However, I would recommend not to use the answers from this dump as a lot of answers are incorrect. Good luck!

hi guys. So I finally did my exam on Thursday. unfortunately I did not pass but am proud of my score. I got 64 and I don't have any experience working in SQL server at work apart from the 8 months of study and hands on the server I set up at home. Basically what I am trying to say is, for a person with no real experience, if I can get 64, I am sure as hell you will pass. I work full time on Oracle so this was new for me. However, what I would strongly recommend is, be super careful of the answers, as most of the answers in here in incorrect. this dump can make you pass on the border perhaps but you need to be 100% sure that the answers are accurate. I referred to aiotestking. there are many new questions and they have even put more choices in the multiple choice questions which is very close to the real answer so need to be very careful. I will do my re-sit next week.

Studied from Alfred's dumps, its still 40%-60% valid. And part from that if you have MS-BI working experience you can pass the exam. One new Case Study on Dauctum....

If it is not clear, Mistique already told you that he doesnt possess any updated dump.
He was misleaded by common dump comments (not referring to 70-467 exam).

Passes the exam today.5 of 6 case studies are from this dump. The new case study is very simple yet. You have 6 case studies in the exam followed by 4 questions each.After you finish each case study you cannot get back to fix your answers.
You have also 30 mix question session.
New questions on hardware for BISM,new question on dimention modelling (hierarchies and attributes), new questions on tabular vs md decision,PowerPivot Dashboard permissions,

You have to be at least PP App Admin.
Connection permission to PP App is not enough.Once you give PP App Admin permission
the user is automatically added to Delegated Administrators group which has contribute permissions.
In order to view to PP Dash Reports, Read permissions is enough.
Of course site collection admin and farm admin permissions is too much.

-Given a DB size - determining hardware requiremnts:
The min requirement per core is 4GB (or 64/128/256 per socket) and usually the recommendation to target 20% of data volume
(including data files,indexes files,logs files,tempdb files,growth estimation,compression,backups etc).

- Which componenets/services can be removed
Depends on what functionality the server should support.
xp_cmdshell usually recommended to remove (security risk) unless you have a strong argument why you should use it.
If you use project dep mode you don't need Integration Services Service either to run packeges fron catalog (install for backwards compatability).

I took this exam recently, it only has 60% valid questions, I failed it.
The exam has a totally new case study that is not even similar to any of the other case studies.
Some questios ask for 2 answers and the exam only puts one answer.
One question has only one valid answer, and the other is not even near the options that are on the real exam.

It only has approximately 60% valid questions in this dump.
You can still pass the exam based on this dump and your hand-on experiences in SQL 2012
