Just passed today with a 900-USA. There were about 6 new questions. Some questions were reworded but had the same idea that leads to the answer. 2 new questions:
One asked for what to do if you want a notification if someone is saving an .exe-file in a folder. Can't remember all answers but should be "Create a file screen on the folder".
The other one was too large to remember all details. It was about DirectAccess, some servers with different server operating systems on it (2003 with SP2, 2008 and 2008 R2) and you should say something about how to change the configuration to make it work. 2 answers were about configuring a static IPv6 adress on two of the servers and 2 answers were about changing the operating system of two of the servers.

Although i knew the dumps totaly by heart and read all of the corrections here in the thread i didnt get 1000 points, so there have to be some more failures in it. But learning it should be enough to pass the exam!

I had 9 questions out of my 54 that i havnt seen on any dump..and i think one or two of the answers in this dump are wrong personally...

I know the wording on one of the questions.. was about a threat protection gateway and the answer in this dump says change the default gateway to 192.168.2.1.. (or something like that). the wording i got was slightly different which indicated that this might have been the wrong answer.. wording was something like machine must be able to attach to the local subnets AND the internet.. changing the gateway would loose internet access.. so i chose a route add answer..

i had 2 more questions that basically required knowledge of the "route add" and more specifically the -p option.. i suggest you brush up on this..

i also had a question on IPv6 which basically asked the multicast range..(i guessed this one)

like another poster i got 1 being about making changes to SPF records for a mail server.. I also chose a TXT record..

This is still valid on the west coast USA Seattle. Easy pass on 54 questions only about 3 new ones. I did use the MS Press Study Guide 70-642 - MS Press NAP Guide plus VM's to prepare for exam. Took less than 20 minutes to write

passed today in northeast US.2 or 3 questions out of 54 not in the dump.related to Direct Access..other than that this is still valid.

Passed in New Zeeland had 10 new questions (54 Q's), also used CBT Nuggets it helps allot for understanding what you are answering and it actually teaches you loads of new stuff as well, Penetrator/Golan you guys are awesome thanks a whole bunch ;-)

in my memory:

The questions are still valid, the dump has over 70% of the exam, the new questions are about branchcache, directaccess, etc.

Like how do you purge the brachcache directory and stuff, overall the dump is still really valid

It is only possible to run that command on 2K8R2 and since it is not explictly mentioned I would think that DFSDiag is the correct answer.

How'd those exams go? Curious to see how close these are to the current exam. As always, don't rely entirely on these. You should read a book/watch videos to get a true understanding. Couldn't anyone use the same name to post?

hey guys congrats on the pass. i have my exam tommorow afternoon. thanks penetrator for the extra quest. there is a question about configuring the dhcp relay agent, i'm sure the relay agent is independant of domains as routers can host the dhcp relay agent so i think installing the rras role service would be the first thing to do don't you think?

But there where a lot of new Quests. @ all I recommend not only learn from Dumps, cause it wont bring you knowledge. Make it like OCFreeze!!! If you dont understand an significate of an Question look at Microsoft Refernzes (TechNet)
Don`t waste your time "only" on the dumps. Okay at the Exam you won`t fail, but you must understand to teach someone how to do.

One talking about agent compliance to see the state of a client computer on a network.
Second one talking about configuring a static ipv6 over a server core installation of windows server 2008 R2. and the answers where:

a. ipconfig
b. netsh
c. ocsetup
d. dnsmanager cmd

Please correct the Q from the new 19 for the IP Sec monitor. I have just found the correct answer with a coffee in my hand. =)
The question is asking how we could use the IPSec Monitor to Monitor the Server, not to connect to server so no need of creating a new security policy!! =)
Appears that IPSec Monitor (MMC) is an old product and it is not enabled/supported remotely since Server 2003 and when you try to connect via that IP Sec monitor (MMC snap-in) remotely to a PC/Server which you need to check /monitor .. first you should first correct a key in the registry of that (remote) PC/Server for the PolicyAgent. =)

MS states:
"On computers running Windows Server 2003 and later, you must set the EnableRemoteMgmt registry key to 1 on the remote computer and restart the IPsec service. Otherwise, you will get an "IPsec service not running" error from the snap-in. The registry key is located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesPolicyAgent."

I mean to be in right saying that the only monitoring tool named "perfmon.exe" deliver the exact utilization at the moment. I hope to be in right, but if not I would be glad if someone could prove otherwise.

-Advanced tab of a Folder is for the NTFS permissions of the mentioned folder - not for us. =)

What questions are wrong then ? Cuz all dumps have the same answer, the only question that this dump has different answer is that question that talks about documentation of cpu, memory, device types, hardware, and other things where the answer is MSINFO32.exe and not PERFMON.exe /report.

In order FCI /File Classification Infrastructure/ to classify images based on their content by using optical character recognition (OCR), you need to install Windows TIFF IFilter on the server that is running FCI. Then the content classifier can recognize TIFF images and extract text from those files

TIFF IFilter supports the most frequent compressions, such as LZW, JPG, CCITT v4, CCITT v6, uncompressed, and so forth.

"You discover that scanned documents stored as JPG files are not being classified. You need to ensure that all file classification rules apply to scanned documents."

So, we have "Folder"and "Content" classifiers types.

=Folder Classifier :
- This rule uses the Folder Classifier which assigns the specified value to the classification property for all files within the rule's scope /within the target folder/.
Which means that this mechanism does not "care" for a file type or whatever is the operation that created the file in the set for classification folder.. as soon the file is in the folder - it will be classified. ;)

=Content Clasifier :
- Searches for text or patterns using the same mechanism as the search indexer and if it finds them assigns the specified value to the classification property. When parameters are found in a file, then the rule will assign the property value /Example : If a word/string "Confidential" is set in the rule and there is a file containing that word - file will be classified./

So we have tree "magic words" mentioned as a factors for the not-classified files in the "Question" :
1. File is scanned to the server
2. File type is JPG
3. File subject - contains document

Exam I Q2, the answer is A or B ?
