just got pass with score of 866 today, 90% valid in india with 9 qts out from dumps still a good one.now concentrating on banging 70-646.
some answers got changes in appearances so byheart wont work i think.
anyways all the best for all who r preparing.
I am passed, but 10-15 questions were out of dump, but if you do not know the answers you will pass. I'm just passed with 916 points. Country S e r b i a
Valid in Turkiye. 2 questions were new.
@p7q11
That would be D, because de client computer has no (valid domain) IP address but an APIPA address. (Note the 169.254.x.x address of the client). Therefore you can only filter on the client MAC address.
@All: going to concentrate at 70-646 now. Good luck to you all (and study hard!) :-)
Valid Exam in Eygpt ,I think that there was around 9 new questions.
Valid in Bulgaria. I think that there was around 10 new questions.
Need the answer on the following question: Server named DC1 that runs Windows Server 2008 R2. Server1 has the DHCP Server server role installed. You find that a desktop computer named Computer1 is unable to obtain an IP configuration from the DHCP server.
You install the Microsoft Network Monitor 3.0 application on Server1. You enable P-mode in the Network Monitor application configuration. You plan to capture only the DHCP server-related traffic between Server1 and Computer1.
The network interface configuration for the two computers is shown in the following table.
Server1 : IP address = 192.168.2.1
MAC address = 00-0A-5E-1C-7F-67
Computer1: IP address= 169.254.15.84
MAC address = 00-17-31-D5-5E-FF
You need to build a filter in the Network Monitor application to capture the DHCP traffic between Server1 and Computer1.
Which filter should you use?
A. IPv4.Address == 169.254.15.84 && DHCP
B. IPv4.Address == 192.168.2.1 && DHCP
C. Ethernet.Address == 0x000A5E1C7F67 && DHCP
D. Ethernet.Address == 0x001731D55EFF && DHCP
EDIT: ".. And just then they place the real question and operation! The "trap"=IPv6 has nothing to do with the requested by MS Reverse Resolving operation ." Please excuse me ..
PS: Lastly my 646 preparation was combined with overtime work.. but still, lots of VMwr Failover Clusters+Shared storages = "Node majority and disk/share" Quorum Clusters were brought Live in my VM test Environemt! =)
Had to deploy a VM FreeBSD Virtual SAN Server for the 2008 R2 iSCSI Failover Cluster's (only) supports and requires. currently "playing" with RD-Terminal Servers . =)
Well. Good Luck & Have Fun All! Will be waiting you at 646 pages! =)
@Madhusudan, . I believe this is a good example of the genius of MS to distract you from the real and main content of the described situation.
The IPv6 "word/termin" used in this Q is the "trap" that MS set mostly in the beginning of the Qs . aiming to distract you => "At First Sight Attention-Distraction".. method ;))
Everyone should keep extra attention not falling into that kind of MS "traps" in the Exam Qs! =)
Yes - Host (AAAA) Record is the FQDN for IPv6 - 128 bit addresses
BUT , you should keep in mind the direction (Hornet.NL used arrows/pointers to describe and focus you exactly on the direction) of performing the resolution .
So MS sets a trap with mentioning at the beginning the IPv6, distracting you with this information, which at first sight (DNS+IPv6) is normal to immediately call the (AAAA) record in your mind and associates it with.
And just then they place the real question and operation that has nothing to do with Reverse Resolving .
IP -> to FQDN.. Reverse (NOT Forward FQDN->IP) resolution record should be created to be possible this kind of operation = PTR record!
@Hornet.NL: I know mate. ;) Cheers!!! =)
There are 54 questions and the time limit is 150 min for those questions. The remaining time is for feedback questions.
Hi Guys, can you tell me how many questions and the time limit you were given by Prometric i have booked my exam this week and its giving me 3hrs 15 mins is this normal? i will be sitting this in the UK
thanks
Hi guys,
Dump valid today in LAGOS, Nigeria. Just 2 or 3 new questions. I passed with 883/1000. but not too hard if you have studied well......Thanks for all, Penetrator & Hornet & OCFreeze-Blocked
Dump valid today in France. Just 3 or 4 new questions.
100% valid in the Netherlands, i passed with 950/1000.
@Hornet: Great update/feeback.
@Gibson
FQDN to IP -> A (IPv4) or AAAA (IPv6) record
IP to FQDN -> PTR record
@OCFReeze: yes, only a Deny overrules all.. Should have seen it, sorry 'bout that..
I pass the exam today and can confirm this exam is valid in Australia. There are 7-8 questions which are not covered (check all the comments with questions. I got most of the questions in my exam today.). If you have read the book and follow this dumps, you are going to pass the exam for sure.
Thank you guys for uploading this dump.
100% valid, Dump valid in Pakistan. 8 to 9 question out of dump
Thanks Juan/Penetrator/Kieslowski/Gologan
@gipson
The answer for this is Host AAAA record coz you need to create 128 bit address i.e., IP V6
Hello, i have doubt about this question:
Your network contains a DNS server named Server 1 that runs Win Serv 2008 R2. You need to ensure that client computers can resolve IPv6 addresses to fully qualified domain name. Which type of resiyrce record should you create?
What is na answer: Host (AAAA) or Pointer (PRT)
http://s10.directupload.net/images/110219/8p29lru5.jpg
I know it's time consuming, but there used to be explanations for each answer. Anyway we can get a group of braniacs to work on them again? Would be great "study" tools for the rest of us. :)
Passed the test today in the Netherlands, only 3 or 4 new questions !
Thanks guys passed today, 1 or 2 new ones but all was well i got the ones from stan,OcFreez and sam today, my score 883. There was a new one about ip routing but I cant remember it sorry guys.
Anyway im done, Linux here i come

@lwh_2000 Congratz mate!!! =) and welcome to the 646 Pages ;))
I am still configurating and keep trying to set my Failover Cluster (@Home xD) wirh VM w-station /no ESX :*((( . but R2 doesnt support anymore direct connectted SCSI drives for share storage for Clustering, so I am "hung".
Still. I do have some magics in my pocket, so I'll have to push a little bit harder on making it work on VMware+R2 Failover Cluster with iSCSI Virtual drives for share storage . Quorums . - lots of modifications though . etc.Anyway .. I luv that part of 646 !! =)
@vrfriend - thank you my friend. I'm always willing and Glad to help - anytime! =)
PS: I believe that we have another 3-4 (may be 5) new Questions that are not with the exact Question description/text, BUT they do have the most important text and do contain the key words and meaning (as my Q for Exchange Server and SFP (TXT) reckord for example) ;) And those 3-4-5 new Q's could bring another extra 56 - 93 points to someone ;)
Most of them were on my test, so I can confirm that the supposed Answers (a,b,c,d) are the same as at the Exam, also the correct answers are fine ;))
Have Fun & Good Luck All! =)
@Hornet.NL & OCFreeze
I was wrong :(
I perform all scenario answer is
(C) Modify NTFS permission for Group1
Thanks OCFreeze
Thank you for Hornet.NL, OCFreeze, Penetrator
i have pass in 900
About 8 Question have not see in dump
3 Question has been post in this "Comment page"
the other i can't remember, i'm very Sorry about that ORZ
@sam =)
IPv6 multicast addresses enable an IPv6 packet to be sent to a number of hosts, all of which have the same multicast address. They have an FP (Format Prefix) of 11111111 (Binary /8 - the first 8 bits) - they always start with FF(Hex).
(d) FF00::/8
@OCFreeze
I too agree with your explanation. I believe C is ans bcz what i feel is, in order to place a file in a folder, group1 definitely have a write permission in that folder. As per quest, Group1 have only read, read & execute. but don't have write permission. So feels C may be the right one.
Hey brothers have one more quest i remember from my quest. Dont know exactly. But something like this
Assaign a link local IPv6 address which have multicasting
which prefix you will use
(a) FC00::/8
(b) FE80::/10
(c) FD00::/10
(d) FF00::/8
I hope ans:- D
Pls comment my dear brothers.
Even now the best practice (in work) is Setting Change/Modify Share permissions to the Authenticated Users, and controlling user's accessability only through NTFS Permissions. ;)
With other words, when Group1 has no permissions to write on NTFS File System, even you set them Change Share Permisions, when they step on that NTFS Fyle system .. the NTFS Permissions will be the ones who become crucial and important - so they will deny that Group1/User it's share rights to "change"/write =)
@ CongratZ Mate!! =)
@Hornet.NL @vfriend, I shall not agree on this one. ;))
Group1 (and all others successfully authenticated with the system/domain) get their Share permissions throught the Authentiicated Users (when they successfully authenticate) - so they receive the Change Share Permission, but when they "step onto the ground" (understand NTFS File system) they wont be able to create/copy anything there, so NTFS Permissions should be changed for Group1. ;)
I have just simulated that situation, and Group1 were able to create/copy files to the Share1 only after I have changed their NTFS Permissions on the Share1 shared folder and added only the Write permission (without modify even ;))
PS: I remeber that I had that Q on my exam and I answered "C" either. ;)
(c) Modify NTFS permission for Group1
Valid. Pass with no problems in TURKEY. new 12 Questions i have 900
Thnx a lot Hornet.NL & OCFreeze
@Hornet.NL
Yes you are right because Group1 has already NTFS permission but dont have sharing rights, so answer is:
(d) Modify Sharing Permission for Group1
@OCFreeze: For sure! :)
@Sam: If the question involved giving group1 access to the share the answer would have been D..
Good luck all!
Today I passed the exam in Poland. I had about 15 new questions.
Much concern Core server.
What command to set the static IP address in Server 2008 Core
a. ipconfig
b. netsh
c. ..
d. ...
answer b
This dump is valid about 90% in INDIA. I took the exam today & score 900+.. I would like to suggest this dump rather than all those out there. Because i feel a lot of mistakes in those dumps. But about this all those were rectified & some gud new quests. Special thanks to OCfreeze & Hornet for offering us a gud dump. Appreciate your great works my brothers.
I have one new quest from my exam..i dont remember it exactly .but some thing around this. A folder named folder1 shared in server1 with some permissions like this
Authenticate users ---
NTFS permission ---- None
Sharing Permission --- change
Group1 ---
NTFS permission ---- Read, Read & Execute, Folder content listing
Sharing Permission ---- None
Allow Group1 to place files in folder1 in Share1 Server
(a) Modify NTFS permission for authenticate users
(b) Modify Sharing permission for authenticate users
(c) Modify NTFS permission for Group1
(d) Modify Sharing Permission for Group1
I Hope ans is :- C
Please comment my dear brothers.
@Hornet.NL Thank you very much mate! Appriciate it ! =)
I do agree with you on the fact that everyone should go first for the knowledge (base) and then to assimilate the learnt with making dumps and understanding the structure of the questions . thinking over and over on every word listed in them, not memmorizing them ;)
Wish you Luck on this one, will be waiting you on the 646 pages ;)
Thank @All ! Glad to help! =)
This dump is still valid in Indonesia.
passed the exam with 850/1000 by today 16/02/2011
Thanks for all, Penetrator & Hornet & OCFreeze-Blocked
OCFreeze ''''' thank you
Dear Guys
I passed yesterday with 866/1000 points. Dump still valid in Egypt. about 2 or 3 new questions, Thanks for all, Penetrator & Hornet & OCFreeze-Blocked
@OCFreeze: I did incorporate your answers (which I double checked) and other (also double checked) remarks in this revised dump. I didn't even forgot to credit you in the dump.. ;-)
Good luck on 70-646; it is going to be my next one too.. Yay!
@The rest: a dump should not releave you from studying the proper way. How are you going to cope at your job later?
Your boss: Quick!!! Our main DC crashed and burned! What should we do!?!?!
You: Uhhmmm... Answer C?
I hope your boss decided to wear trainers that day.. :-P
Ok, I'm off for now . back to my 646 preparation and studying/testing in my VM Server 2008 lab Environment. Wish u Luck All!! =)
"@turk -"3- you need to insure user can view their directory access status"
/G Exam - 9Q/
"....You need to ensure that users can view their DirectAccess status by using the DC"
Which two group policy settings should you configure? (Each correct answer presents part of the solution. Choose two.)
B) Dynamic Tunnel Endpoints (DTEs)
D) Corporate Resources
-----------------------------------------------------------
Connectivity verifiers—Connectivity verifiers are used by the DCA to provide information about the connectivity status clients. If connectivity is down then an unavailable status is displayed in the DCA. The connectivity verifier method can be an HTTP or HTTPS URL, or a file location. Plan for multiple connectivity verifiers in a number of locations. For example, configure one verifier behind the NAT64, and another behind the ISATAP gateway etc.
Microsoft states :
"Important:
You must configure the DTE and CorporateResources settings to have DCA functionality. The others settings are optional, but recommended!"
The DCA periodically checks its ability to access the specified resources :
=>CorporateResources<= settings (resoursec that should be used by DCA for testing its functionality/connectivity and status):
-An IPv6 address or DNS name to ping.
-A Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to query with an HTTP request.
-A Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path to a file that the DCA checks.
=>(DTEs)<=
Specifies the dynamic tunnel endpoints (DTEs) of the IPsec tunnels that enable DirectAccess. It is through these tunnels that the DCA attempts to access the resources that are specified in the CorporateResources setting.
, and it uses the results of those tests to determine and report the operating status of DirectAccess. If a DCA client computer cannot access any of the specified resources, the icon in the notification area changes to red.
@turk on those questions I have spared a special time and have (hope so) pointed the correct answers describing with details why.. Along with the Q for "Logging of every attempts to connect to some server on restricted port" are in Penetrator's Dump .. posting history. I believe you could find my posts there, glad to help. =)
For the Q "1- msinfo32.exe or perfmon.exe /report" it is 100% perfmon /report.. And may be now is the moment to ask those of you whenever you are not shure for such Qs to atleast try each provided answer and see by yourself the results. More detailed, consistent, organized by types and covering all the quick needs of an Admin for such as perf/resources/OS details etc.. wouldn't be. Also how could you doubt in the presence of the new features brought with Win 7/Server 2008/ to be the correct answers in an exam based on the "future" and present modern innovative technologies such as 2008 (R2) .
Small information of the history of msinfo32 :
"Alternatively referred to as Windows System Information, msinfo32 is an executable file that was first included with Microsoft Windows 98 "
How this could be the up-to-date solution and modern feature that MS will try (in 2011) to check you if you could know this (same old msinfo feature) for 13 years now? =)
please sombody post the exact dumps. can i pass the exam by preparing penetrator dump only?
in this dump there are three different Q
am not sure from answer
pls help me to find the correct answer
1- msinfo32.exe or perfmon.exe /report
2- you need to insure that file classification rule apply to scanned doc .
B enable the windows TIFF IFilter feature o B modify properties of file classification
3- you need to insure user can view their directory access status
w8 is the correct answer
Hey can someone tell me if this is any good in Australia :)
So can someone tell me where to get the full version ?? Thanks Joe
Just took this test today in USA California . 54 Question test, finished in 30 minutes and passed; only studied this dump. Approximately 11 questions not in this dump.
One question about pushing files via WSUS while minimizing network traffic. Answer I think was using transparent cache on the client computers.
One question about the command line tool to set a IPv6 IP Address. Answer I think is NetSH.
Hello. I had remeber one of the new questions it was something like that.
You have a network (bla-bla). You have DNS server and Exchange Server
You want to create a Sender Policy Framework (SPF) for your Exchange server. Which record should you create in the DNS server?
A) (MX)
B) (HINFO) HOSTINFO
C) (SIG) Signature
D) (TXT) Text
Answer is D) (TXT) - An SPF record will contain a list of servers that are allowed to send from a specific domain. The created SPF (TXT) Record helps people prevent spoofing your domain name in the future.
Valid. Pass with no problems in Poland, only 2 questions were new..
Please someone knows the difference between this dump and the penetrator's one? and with the other dump with 208q? There are 3 dumps witj 208q and I dont know the difference. Thank you
Passed today in lebanon only 2 questions not in this dump
Well done there Hornet.NL ill take mine Friday or next Monday still going through the nuggets and book.
Passed. Only 4 questions not in dump but not too hard if you have studied well..
It is not entirely valid so it seems. This is a revised version of the one made by Gologan, Penetrator and friends.. Depending on where you are or with what organisation (so it seems) you take the exam it is either almost completly valid or as low as 40% valid. This been said: we all study hard and do not only rely on dumps now do we? ;)
