did the test today. pass with 860. thank you for all the dumps. i have studied very hard with test kit and faild last two times. someone directed for this site and it help me a lot. lots of qestions from lates dump. special thanks test, willim and enzo.
I meant answer G not C in my previous comment
You configure a sharepoint server 2010 SP1. The farm contains a single search service application that has two index servers. The search index contains 3 million documents that reside on the sharepoint farm and 2 million documents that reside on a network file server named fileserver1. You attach a content database that contains 8 million documents. You make sites from the database accessible on your farm. You grant Read permissions to anonymous users to read all the content on these sites. You need to improve performance of the search. You also need to ensure that users can search the contents of the entire Sharepoint farm from a single SearchCenter Site. What should you do?
A. Add a new Federated search location. In the restrictions and Credentials information section. select the No restriction: All sites can use this location option
B. Add a new search scope at the service application level. Add a scope rule that uses the Web Address rule type
C. Add a second Search Service application and distribute the indexed content across the two index servers
D. Add new content source and specify its start address. Add a crawl schedule, and initiate a full crawl
E. Add a new search scope at the service application level. Add a scope rule that uses the Content source rule type
F. Add a new crawl rule and specify the path where the rule will apply. In the Crawl Configuration section. select the Include all items in this path option
G. Add a new index partition and distribute the existing index across the two index servers
H. Add new crawl rule and specify the path where the rule will apply. In the Crawl Configuration section. select the Exclude all items in this path option
Answer is C because partinioning the index can improve the query latency => improve performance
@kat
what was ur score ?

About SSRS.
See install Addin instructions
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=622#additional-information
Nevertheless correct is:
+++++ Install SSRS in sharepoint integrated mode +++++
+++++ Install the SSRS 2008 R2 Add-in for sharepoint +++++
+++++ Configure the SSRS Proxy by using the Reporting Services Integration Page, and then activate the Reporting Services feature +++++
@Rp_Sharepoint
Probably, you're right about order, but what about install-SPDataconnectionfile?
It seems to me it is fourth step.
So answer is
---Create a data connection library to store data connection---
---Add the required data connection to the form template---
---Convert the data connection to a universal data connection UDC file---
---Run the following Windows Powershell cmdlet: install-SPDataconnectionfile -PAth. dataconnection.udx--
@Rp_Sharepoint
You are correct I check it too last night
For Infopath Form template question.
Create a data connection library to store data connections.
Add the intended data connection to the form template.
Convert the data connection to a data connection file.
------------------
Order is not correct ..check the technet article.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff621104.aspx
@sandor
I think the answer is only
+++++ Install SSRS in sharepoint integrated mode +++++
+++++ Configure the SSRS Proxy by using the Reporting Services Integration Page, and then activate the Reporting Services feature +++++
Since the add in is already installed in the prerequiste
@Sandra
Any other quesstions you have doubt in you may share ?
thanks Sandro' i really appreciate your help.
There are 55 questions in test. Some of them from this dump, another from Enzo's dump http://www.examcollection.com/microsoft/Microsoft.certkey.70-667.v2011-11-22.by.Enzo.101q.vce.file.html
So you should use both of it.
But this dump is not elaborate. Many questions still have doubtful answers.
You need to Configure Mircosoft Sql Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2008 R2 with Sharepoint Server 2010 Service Pack1(SP1)
What should you do? (To answer, move the appropriate actions from the list of actions to the answer area and arrange them in the correct order)
It is obviously that answer consist of:
+++++ Install SSRS in sharepoint integrated mode +++++
+++++ Install the SSRS 2008 R2 Add-in for sharepoint +++++
+++++ Configure the SSRS Proxy by using the Reporting Services Integration Page, and then activate the Reporting Services feature +++++
But I'm not sure about sequence of 1, 2 actions.
See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ff686706.aspx
So right answer could be:
+++++ Install the SSRS 2008 R2 Add-in for sharepoint +++++
+++++ Install SSRS in sharepoint integrated mode +++++
+++++ Configure the SSRS Proxy by using the Reporting Services Integration Page, and then activate the Reporting Services feature +++++
And it is only one right answer and order should to be important, therefore we should to determine it.
Can someone tell me what is the total number of questions on this test is and what is the minimum I need to have correct to pass?
thanks
@JOJO In think Q30 is actual B, because c eliminates the possibility to use the single search center for the whole farm
@sandro i think you are right
@JOJO do you have link with the explanation for Q30
@JOJO
I am not able to do so
@RK disable the randomize in the properties of vce and you can find the Questin 30.
@jojo
can u please give more details regarding the question because the order is changing each time
You create a web application in the default zone and then extend it to the Internet zone. You configure both zones to use NTLM authentication. You need to ensure that the web applicationin the internet zone can perform the following tasks:
* Allow anonymous users to access site collections of the web application
* Prevent anonymous users from modifying the content of the application
* Prevent users from modifying settings at the site collection level
What should you do? ( To answer move the appropriate actions from the list to the answer area and arrange them in the correct order
Ansver:
+++++ From Central Administration, select Authentication Providers and click Internet Zone+++++
+++++ From the Edit Authentication settings, enable anonymous access to the web application and site collections +++++
+++++ From Central Administration, Modify Anonymous Access Restrictions for the Internet Zone and set its permissions to Deny Write+++++
You should set "Enable anonymous access" flag, because it enable anonymous access on IIS. It is necessary to ensure anonymous access.
http://www.topsharepoint.com/enable-anonymous-access-in-sharepoint-2010
I've found some another questions, which I disagree with answers.
I'm inspecting it now and write later.
Question 30:
I think that's C not E.
Anyone can confirm ?
