got an 825. i feel like i got around 15 questions i'd never seen before. some i had seen, but they changed the answer from gui to command line or vice versa.

i used cbtnuggets to learn the material before studying the dump, so i was able to make it through the ones i'd never seen with moderate success. i suggest if you don't have the money to spend on the CBTNuggets 742 series, if you're clever, you can find it for free in the usual places.but if you have the money, pay them. they deserve it.

one weird thing..not a single port question on my test today. i was prepared, but sadly didn't get any..otherwise i'd have gotten a 900+.

in my failed exam I had also choise (e) tape device. I chose "tape+internal HDD" because on tape we CAN keep several backup versions :( . it is just wrong, all this questions, it's about what you prefer and not about facts. I prefer my HP tapes and internal HDD that is out of RAID, i keep my RAID 5 backup on it and also on tapes.

Couple of new questions about subnetting & which ports/protocols do you need to open for PPTP VPN (Choose 3 from about 10) this one confused me because as far as i'm aware is 1723 TCP & Protocol 47, had to choose another one as well though. The subnetting question was quite difficult, involving a network spanning 64 subnets and having to open a single subnet to cover all of them without overlapping any of the other networks in the forest.

Well, I read the article about WSUS "Enable express installation on server1"
it says: "You can use express installation files to limit the bandwidth consumed on your local network, but at the cost of bandwidth consumption on your Internet connection. By default, WSUS does not use express installation files."

The question then is confusing. do they want to use "less" internet or less local traffic? :( . if it has to minimize local then (a) is correct.

Dump still valid. I couldn't answer LDAP ports. I passed but I am not sure what happened at the end of my review. I had about 95 minutes left when I competed the exam. I clicked end review and confirmed. I was in rush and I didn't read what it was saying, something about comments. I thought it was a survey but The exam re-started with only 10 minutes left. Do you guys know what is it? I just clicked again end review. Yes I am an idiot I should have read what it was saying.

One was realted to subnetting and it was a multiple choice question. There is a host with IP 172.16.32.105 located in a subnet /20. You need to choose three other IPs that belong to the same subnet.

This test is valid in The Netherlands. Passed yesterday with 861.


Only one new question:

About ports opening for VPN you needed to choose 3 ports.

answers: tcp 1723, udp 1723, udp 500 and two other ports not sure which those were.

Passed the exam 1hr ago here in the Philippines, 953. Dumps are still valid. I saw 3 new questions:
1. Minimize bandwidth used when updating clients using WSUS
a. Enable QoS
b. Disable QoS
c. Enable Express installation
d. Disable Express installation
No idea on answer. Any ideas?

2. About subnetting, choose 3 that will qualify: 172.16.33.105/20

Valid still. Passed with 825, but I do think like the rest of voters that there are a few mistakes in the dump. You can find different answers for the same kind of question in different exam sections. Like the setting of an alert for data collection set in regard to the processor. I think I had 2 new questions in the exam out of this dump. All in all very helpful. Good on you Bruce

Dima, I think the correct answer for Q17 (Droplets) is:
1. modify products and Classifications settings
2. Sync
3 Approve

I think exam I Q17 is wrong (in droplets, about WSUS): your company deploys new MS application -> u discover its not listed in pro. and classifications -> you sync -> what do u do to make new update available to all PCs?

no way in the answer drag'n'drop we use "sync the WSUS" again! because we did it already in THE QUESTION. Please check it out, what do you think guys?

My opinion is: add comp group -> add PCs to group -> approve updates.

This exam reflect the real exam for approximate between 80%& 90%, however, advisable is to study (a tiny bit ;-) ) in the Microsoft press book.
