I would like to start by congratulating you on passing and hopefully achieving your Windows 8 certifications in the process.

I would also like to apologize for not playing a more active role in the forum but, I have been occupied with other certification exams of my own in addition to work, family and life in general and have not been able to follow-up as much as I would like. I had full intentions after posting my dump to take all of your comments and suggestions regarding possible incorrect answers to correct and repost but, as I mentioned, I have been busy.

In reviewing some of the comments posted here I was very surprised. It appears as if a few posters would want everything handed to them on a silver platter (so to speak) and they do not want to do the needed leg work and confirm the answers in the dump for themselves as others appear to be doing. I never stated that my answers were 100% accurate but, that I wanted to do my part to give back by creating the dump file in hopes that others would do the same and build upon what I started.

I feel as if I have done my part and I have moved on to other certifications some of which I have also contributed to in an attempt to do my part and make them that much better for those coming behind. Now I know this is not a world changing moment but, I if I was able to assist a few of you in achieving their goals, it was worth it.

I will not be creating another 70-688 dump because, as I said I have moved on and I simply do not have the time that it takes to create these dumps with the amount of detail that I have put into this one.

used trainsignal myself, you get a good grounding for it using that (companypaid for it), but looking Technet, messing about with the OS, and watching youtube helped with the app-v and intune stuff.

I personally used trainsignal videos, but for my opinion they were pretty disappointing, specially on things like app v and intune.. I read as much technet articles as I could and in the end, I just watched some configuration tutorials on youtube..

Guys, I passed today with 8xx, the exam is really hard.. everyone is right, you need to know your stuff because the dump will not be enough. I agree with @iamthewalrus:
-Make sure you master storage pools
-Study a lot about windows intune, I MEAN IT, A LOT (if possible use it, dontt just read)
-Study the upgrade paths depending on OS and CPU architecture
-I got a lot about bit locker

just to add, Questions about what OS you can upgrade from ie XP, Win7 32bit and 64bit, what kind off CPU and memory is required for different architectures of windows8.
ntfs permissions, synching upwith mobile device, a good few of server based questions about syncing issues.i had no idea on these..educated guesses.

good hint.. remove the stupid answers and you are then at least got a good chance of getting the questions right..remmeber MS wants u to use there new technologys so always pick whats windows 8 has to offer.

The answer B is not correct as it's a PRIVATE cloud (the intranet website would have to be moved to a cloud in a first place).

@rod i agree with all your comments but on q55 give me some reason why you would enforce a rule before creating it ?? what is logic behind it ?? the answer providing by Nada just say you have to do it that way .. if you have any material or links i would agree with you but obviously it doesn't make any sense ..

@louie and @medas I am afraid that you both are wrong on q11 as well, the correct answer is file explorer, ONLY on windows 8, smartscreen is not an IE component only, but a component of the whole system.. come on guys, these are things you need to test on an actual windows 8 machine before you comment.

@medas you could do it like that on q55, but that is not the correct order for the exam.. if you do it in a chronological sequence, you end up enforcing the rule first and then creating them.. the answer from Nada is right, and THIS IS enough to pass and nothing else is needed..

Read the questions and understand the answers.

I think the second drag and drop choice (select the rule type ISOLATION) is incorrect because you don't have the ability to add IP addresses, i think the correct choice is (Select the rule type Server-to-server) where you can add the IP addresses of the research department
