Why not use Add-CATemplate?
The Add-CATemplate cmdlet adds a certificate template to the CA for issuing.

afaik, to issue certificates based on certificate templates, you need an Enterprise CA.
So to get templates, you need to reinstall CA as enterprise

Iam now at 100% it is Minimum. I testet it on Hyper-V with "just" 3 VMs. Just for Example, because we got no more information from Microsoft: Hyper V Host got 16 GB RAM. 3 VMs called VM1,VM2,VM3. VM1 with Startup Ram 4GB no dynamic Memory enabled and is running. VM2 StartupRam 10GB and Minimum RAM 1GB, VM3 Startup RAM 4GB. The Hyper V Host uses about 2GB. So when i start VM2 it Starts and takes 10GB from the Host but in Idle just uses about 800MB Ram and the rest is allocatet but not used. When i want to start VM3 i need 4 GB Ram but i got not enough to use left. Here then comes the dynamic memory kick! what i configured in VM2. When VM3 starts, VM2 goes down to 1GB minimum i configured. When i now restart VM2 there is no 10 GB Ram left on the Host for the configured Start Up Ram of 10 GB VM2 needs. Here then comes SmartPaging. VM2 looks for any RAM it could get and the Rest it uses Smartpaging. If you try it on your own, you can see the Processes in Hyper -V at the bottom Window under Memory and then Memory status. As long VM2 boots you can see the status Smartpaging. Just think about you got not 3 or 25 VMs. Think you got a VDI Infrastructure with 100 or 1000 VMs! 80% i would say are then running but just in Idle!

Thats what i returned to aswell. 2 Days ago i changed republish to copy crl to Webserverfarm.

But, i read an article then on technet, that the certutil publish thing also publish it to Active Directory when got write Access. We dont know if we got write Access but we know we got a ADDS Infrastructure and i think Microsoft want us to store it in AD! If there been nothing about the ADDS Infrastructure in the Question, i would take copy the CRL to the WebserverFarm.

This 414 Exam is really shitty. I now just memorize my Pool with the changed Answers and good is. I will see it in a few Days if iam wrong or not.

That's about w2003, but I think that it's a similar case for w2012. Please let me know if something is wrong. I write UPPER the key points for me.
"In some scenarios, it may not be possible to publish a CRL from an offline CA. In this case, with Windows Server 2003, THE OLD CRL MAY BE RE-SIGNED WITHOUT USING THE CA. This process assumes the availability of the CA PRIVATE KEY(S) outside of the CA to actually sign the CRL. To update an expiring CRL, the OLD CRL FILE WILL NEED TO BE RETRIEVED FIRST. You can also add or remove serial numbers, or remove extensions, or CHANGE THE LENGHT OF TIME THE CRL will be valid through the certutil.exe -sign command.

There is the Question 51 with the CAPolic.inf File. First i used Registry on Server 1. But as i read the Following Article i think we must take CAPolicy.inf on Server 2. We know we got a offline CA allready exists. We know that we installed on Server 2 the enterprise subordinate CA. We need to ensure that the certificate issued to Server2 is valid for 10 years. The Question then is: what SHOULD you do FIRST.

I think that you're right. We don't have enough information about the amount of RAM, but probably VM's fails restarting because of the bus channel if every VM try to use full memory configured at same time. That will be solved with Minimum RAM configuration.

I would say it is wrong with the Startup RAM. It is the Minimum RAM !!!

To provide a reliable restart experience for the virtual machines configured with less minimum memory than startup memory, Hyper-V in Windows Server 2012 uses Smart Paging.
This memory management method uses disk resources as additional, TEMPORARY memory when more memory is required to restart a virtual machine.
To minimize the performance impact of Smart Paging, Hyper-V uses it only when all of the following occurs:

1. The virtual machine is being restarted.
2. There is no available physical memory.
3. No memory can be reclaimed from other virtual machines running on the host.

Smart Paging is not used when:

1. A virtual machine is being started from an "off state" (instead of a restart).

To further reduce the impact of Smart Paging, Hyper-V removes memory from the virtual machine after it completes the start process. Intranet question changed and right answer seems to be delete both intranet records and create new A record for intranet.

Also there was a question with the standalone CA that the practice test says use Server2 as an Enterprise CA, but that's not an option. In my test the only option for Server2 was a standalone subordinate CA, so I chose to uninstall and reinstall Server1, since you can't convert a standalone CA to enterprise CA and you need enterprise CA to use certificate templates.

I chose virtual switch for spreading bandwidth across VMs and SCP for AD RMS Cluster Question.

I also selected to configure Server1 as an Autonomous Server, where the practice test says you don't need to.

Passed the exam with 8XX in India. 100% valid dump however, combine this and Omars and do join study.

@REN.i think it depends on the draw from pool of questions.also followed these dumps and only got 730 where others seem to score 800+.i am still sure that there are a lot of incorrect-dubious answers in this dump! be carefull and investigate/research using technet, but even then there is still a lack of one clear answer.

Do research, test & follow the comments if you want to be more accurate, but unfortunately this is as close as you gonna get as there is no clear cut answers for this MS exam. your input about the sCOM question with Event ID 42 and App1:
The correct answer in the dump is B (SCOM) but nothing describes the recovery task in this answer
AND you definitely need it to get the required result. We think the "better" answer would be D 'cause it more describes the action (restart App1) in case of the alert (Event ID 42)
AND as you already said, we don't know if the clients where monitored by SCOM.

Yesterday pass the examen with 7XX score. study only the seppfuchs exam with the corrections of Dennis. No new questions

FAILED with 596.
I found there was too many wrong answers inside.
I am now studing using NOS one.

With normally having 9xx scores today was an exception passing this one with 730.close call.

All the questions I had my remarks with were in this exam. This is just one shitty compiled MS exam, with too much room for argument in the answers. Example bandwidth control on vm.switch or virtual adapter.both are an option.questions misses information. SCP or CNAME.both are mentioned on TechNet articles.

But then again.it said congratulations..MCSE:SI now.time to relax a bit..

you can use that for the q1, A and D both seem correct but as the systems are managed by SCOM (we dont know if the client OS's are managed within SCOM however.

As this is again a very unclear question with not enough information provided in both question answer i really dont know the answer anymore.

@Q19..how can you iSCSI to a FC SAN..storage is provided to the server via FC HBA's..and this storage is then shared via the i scsi target server role?..is that possible? @WSUS..a top level WSUS is allways autonomous, possibly with approval rules in place..downstream servers can be autonomous or in replica mode. When in replica mode the downstream server receives the computer groups and approved updates from the upstream server. When in autonomous mode the downstream server only synchronizes updates..not approval or groups.

I memorized every answer from this exam. There were maybe three new questions on today's test. I only got a 684. I answered every question that mirrored the practice exam with the appropriate answer. There is a good chance that there are wrong answers on the practice exam. Oh well - I will take it again soon. Thanks for the help.

go to Mixed Q, Question-Set1. Mark Question 1 - 71 (!not question Set1 or Testlet1!) click edit + copy.Go to the other instance of Exam Designer, create new exam and paste the Q's in.

I passed yesterday with 810/1000. There where all questions from this dump, 2 or 3 times there where different Options (gknj allready mantioned). I´m very very shure that i have answerd the remaining questions with the answer that the dump prefered so be very carefully there are now much space for wrong answers by 810 Points.

Anyway, thanks guys for the work. My MCSE is now finished and there are no further certifications planed for the next quarter of the year.

Passed with 880. Very valid. A few questions had different options. Ones I remember were the NLB dns question. Only one option made sense now instead of 2-3 from dumps. (remove both, add one A record). And the CA question, only answer which made sense was reinstall CA on Server 1. Option for Enterprise CA didnt exist.

Studied this only, passed with a 760. One new question. Answers were in a different order.

for the question of the QOS:
You could do this by doing:
Set-VMSwitch "VN-Trunk01" -DefaultFlowMinimumBandwidthWeight 5
This means any unspecified network traffic (default network traffic) for each virtual switch port will be 5, distributing the load.

You could also set the virtual network adapters trough windows powershell with Set-VMnetadapter cmdlet giving each adapter a weight of 5 but above answer would be easier to implement.

For the question regarding AD RMS migration, I'm not sure for SCP.
If you check the official Microsoft migration procedure : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj835767(v=ws.10).aspx
you can see the following:Update the DNS name for the old RMS cluster to point to the load balanced virtual IP address of the new AD RMS cluster so that the clients that will request for licenses for old content will go to the new cluster.

The configuration of the SCP comes later.

@ocran: I´m not sure about virtual switch, the question says:
"You need to implement a networking solution that evenly distributes the available bandwidth on Hyperl to all of the virtual machines".
On the virtual switch, you have the option: "Enable bandwidth management", but this option only manages the network bandwidth (QoS). You´re probably right, but I´m not 100% sure.
On the others questions:
- From Operations Manager, create an alert.

I´ve taken the exam in english. I find it more netative then positive to make the practices in english and then take the test in german language. So english is the best choice, i think :-).
Here is an Example:
in english, they take from a "Forest". In german, they would call it "Gesamtstruktur". So, english is good ^^.

Never mind for a bulletproof Version. The dump is allready realy good, i´ve simply answerd some questions wrong. Some other questions had a different answer, as other People allready mantioned and 2 or 3 new questions where in it.

So, if you lern the current Version and you will take the exam, it should be fine. Simply Keep in mind that the answers are never in the same order as the answers in the exam and some answers has changed.

I failed the test on friday. There where a lot questions from this dump but the answers has changed and the Position of the answers and the "press an slide"-Buttons are completly changed. Sometimes there are non of the given answers in the dump the choice.
So be carefull. i think there where about 2 or 3 now questions. Make sure that the dump is 100% right and there should nothing going wrong.

What are you thoughts on Q1 - I'm thinking the answer should be "D - From Event Viewer, attach a task to the event". Reason being is that you can staisfy the requirement completly with this option. Simply creating an alert in SCOM will only notify you and there is no requirment to send a notification only to restart the app.

Also would you really want to fill SCOM with workstation alerts for an APP?

Hi Pat,

I think the answer is C virtual switch. This is a new feature of Hyper-v to distribute bandwith according to a weighted percentage level (in this case 5% for each VM). The solution is to create virtual network adapter for the virtual switch and setting the QoS options for the virtual adapter on the virtual switch.

Answer B doesn't specify to modify multiple adapters however AND doenst specify whether the psyical or the virtual network adapter should be modified. Optional answer 1 is the psysical however.

I think the answer is C.

Passed this exam with the score 820/1000. Seppfuchs dumps are 100% valid. There are few wrong answers. Don't worry, if you study this dumps carefully you will cross more than 800 for sure. Hi All I recently passed this exam with 9xx (genuine) I studied vce of silence20 (see the original remarks) Microsoft got wise to this and changed the exam adding the D exam from Mike's dump study both of these and you will destroy this exam.

regarding the correct answer, this is the most difficult on this test, either they want you to choose the BEST answer, or they propose answers where you need to "translate" what the writter wanted and put in highlight..
If you don't know well the topic of the question, you will need to study a little more to understand what are the answers and mostly "what Microsoft would like us to put in place"

The correct answer is "D" In a round robin DNS there would be at least 2 host A record enteries for "intranet". In addition there would a A record entry each fro Web! and Web2. You don't want to remove the host A entires for Web1 and Web2 otherwise other host communicating with Web1 and Web2 would be unable to resolve via DNS. You should remove 1 of the existing host A records for "intranet" and modify the 2nd host A entry with the Virtual IP address created for NLB.

I agreed all answers from Sepp, all questions from the dump, no chance to proove myself the answers i didn't agreed :-)
Some answers were a little changed in the 39 questions list. I had the following (more than 39 because some questions are double):

I had 100% on "Plan and implement a highly available enterprise infrastructure", less than 100% on three others, i let you make filter the answer and see if you can get responses for highly discussed questions

I have just gone through your dump and there are some answers that are diffrerent from NOS' v5 dump, so I am researching them. I think the question about sharing the bandwidth between vms is still the "network card" as you can team inside the virtual nic and it does not say physical nic in the question. What do you think?

I passed with 850 exactly this Dump. I had all of the "hard discussed" Questions; in my exam. You will be Fine.

from what i studdies, i think this is one of the most valid.
