The question state that "The cluster nodes will not use shared storage", so how come the answer is "B. Add Server3 as a file share witness for Cluster1"?

As my point here, I'm prefer the answer "C. Add Server3 and Server4 to a new failover cluster named Cluster2. Install App1 on Cluster2". It is because the question ask to ensure that App1 can able to fails over automatically to another Server if a single node in Cluster1 fails, mean that when one of the member server of Cluster1 fail, entire App1 service will straight away fail over to Cluster2 if you choice answer C.

Since the Server1 is installed iSCSI Target Server role services. So, you no need to install the iSCSI Targer Server role services on Server2. Server2 just need to discover Server1 via QuickConnect from iSCSI Initiator and Enable MPIO.

So, the answer from this dump is correct answer.

@ Ivan, I think if you install the iSCSI Target role on one server then the iSCSI Initiator role has to be installed on the other server. If you have them installed on only one server then that server will be only pointing to itself, right??

In my opinion, answer is not correct. Should be:
- On Server1, add the initiator ID of Server2.

Q58 the correct answer is "C" Startup Memory, Please fix it.

We should remember this, "Startup Memory" is work when the "Host" Hyper-V Server restart while "Minimal Memory" just work for "Virtual Machines" restart!

When the Hyper-V Server is restart, it's no enough physical memory to boot up all the virtual machines, we should adjust all the startup memory of virtual machines to make the Hyper-V host server able to boot up all the virtual machines on next server reboot.

"Minimal memory" just for the VM restart while the host Hyper-V server is running and no enough physical memory for that VM boot up from restart. So, the minimal memory will borrow the host server disk spaces act as smart paging to provide VM boot up, but it will affect the VM performance.

The Virtual Switch is on Hyper-V NOT on VMM, the VMM has nothing to do with this particular question. None, Nothing at all.

@dns53 i don't think there is any options for the virtual switch unless you have scvmm, which the question does not not mention.

Just passed the exam this morning in the United States with a score of 850 using only the questions from Santi. they were 100% accurate - thanks, Santi! So far it appears no new questions. I have created a new VCE based off Santi's questions with the answers that I changed based on the comments throughout. It should be up in the the next couple of days.

Hi there.
People keep referring to the question numbers, for example, Q55, Q10, Q58, however when I open the exam, the questions are listed as item numbers and in parentheses it says (MixedQuestions, Q1) on every item.
This makes it an effort to find the questions (items) that people are referring to since the "item" number does not match the Q#. How can I sort it so the item matches the Q#?

I do not think your failures are because of the Dump. If you spend a bit of time to look the comments and do your own research you will pass the test with flying colors. As you can see a lot of people passed the test using this dump, including me, so no Sir it is not the dump what makes you fail.

The answer to the memory question should be "startup ram"
Minimum ram only kicks in when the OS is fully loaded and the Hyper-V tools are started. The startup ram is available, but only when the machine is powered down. Hope this helps.

I've been comparing my link and yours. As conclusion, I think that you're right because of two points:
- As I said, I asumed that the answer is referred to VIRTUAL network adapter (that wouldn't be right if it's referred to PHYSICAL network adapter) the problem is that you'll have to configure the VIRTUAL Net Adap in every VM. The only network adapter in the question is the PHYSYCAL, and to configure every VIRTUAL network adapter is too hard.
- In your link it seems that we can define not only a bandwith minimum but a maximum one for each VM. In that case, maybe it's quicker and better than configure settings of every virtual network adapter.
So, if nobody argue anything against this answer I'll answer:
C - The settings of the virtual switch.

On Q30 you're probably right. don't know why I was thinking both answers deleted/modified same host names.
So yeah. for RoundRobin u had 2 host names as INTRANET. but you'll only need one for NLB, and no need for deletion of host names Web1/Web2

So correct answer should be D.

We were using RoundRobin before - so we must have created 2 Host (A) entries with the name Intranet in the beginning. To make the switch to NLB we need to delete one of the Host (A) entries for INTRANET, and change the remaining A entry to the virtual IP of the NLB Cluster.
The servers are named Web1 and Web2, most likely we don't want to delete their registered A records ?

Question states we already have SCCM infrastructure.
As this exam is all about infrastructure and SCCM integration,
my choice would be "B - From Operations manager, create an alert".
We probably have thousands of clients and manually attaching a task
in event viewer? Might be solvable with some scripting and GPOs though,
but does this make sense? It is a strange question and a doubt remains,
but I would choose SCOM and attach a recovery task to the event which restarts the client application.
SCOM gives us an alert if more than 4 events are logged per hour - if we
would have installed SCOM from the beginning we would be aware of the
problem and discovered/maintained it before any calls even reach our helpdesk. IMO it's the whole purpose of this product .

one more thing: there is a question where you have to choose a hyper-v configuration (cost effective, but live migration support), in the dump it's the one with the two hyper-v hosts und not the other three options with 3 servers. the problem is in the exam on this hosts the only role installed is hyper-v and without the failover cluster role for a scale out file server with direct attached storage you can't live migrate or am I wrong?

Hey guys, today I passed the exam. two thinks:
first the Q from contoso.com with DFS/BranchCache where the dump says DFS would be the right answer because auf Windows XP Clients.
there is no information about the clients!!!
the information "windows xp clients (800) in the branch office and xxxx windows 7 clients in the main office" are from the a.datum case!!!

than there is a question with the low bandwith with highlatence, the question asks "which changes must be done to." so the answer with the WAN Upgrade makes sense!

Before a few weeks I had to enable active directory auditing and this must be enabled manually or with a gpo on the domain controllers and not on ou level. this is why a must be right in my opion.

after that enabled you have to specify what should be audited and that is configured in ad users&computers under the ou in the preferences in the tab "Audit"
