Anyway from the new set of questions, Q8:
It should be:
BCE.
B: We need a legacy Name for Server1. But we also need to make sure mail.contoso.com Name is present since Server3 would be proxying / redirecting to legacy Exchange.

I believe the answer is Remote Connectivity Analyzer test, as a "Outlook Connectivity test" is done within outlook itself (also possible) on a LAN.

This is done using hold CTRL and right click Outlook icon > Connection Status > Test Email AutoConfiguration

The Remote Connectivity Analyzer test is specifically for testing Outlook Anywhere feature (which is done from WAN).

The layer-4 hardware load balancer can actually check an URL, however might that URL be down than other web services would get distributed to the other CAS as well.

The downside to layer 4 load balancing is that the load balancers are not aware of individual service failures, they are only able to see service availability on a server-by-server basis. This means that if one of your CAS were to have a failure with just OWA, the entire server would be taken out of service, routing all traffic to other servers.

In addition, Exchange 2013 Client Access servers support the use of Layer 4 load balancing.

I got the same question and answered according to the fact that Layer 4 switches don't know anything about URLs, but I didn't pass and had most points missing in "Plan, Install, Configure, and Manage Transport", so this is probably one of the questions I got "wrong".

I also got this question in the exam and answered the way you said and the way that should be the correct answer, but this is probably another question I got "wrong".
It seems that the premise of the exam is that it is possible to install anti-virus and anti-spam agents on a server with just the Client Access role, which we all know is impossible or at least not supported.
It seems that the original plan was to have these agents run on the server with the CAS role as you can read from here: http://www.allspammedup.com/2012/07/exchange-2013-will-include-anti-spam-and-anti-malware/.
This was changed later in development, but it seems that somebody forgot to tell the team responsible for the certification exam.

In reference to Lionel Messi's PDF Q18, and the drag and drops in Ocean and Mo's VCEs, the question pertaining to installing the least role to replace an Edge Transport server is wrong.
The answer should be to install a Mailbox role server first instead of a Client Access server. Please see the link below for reference

Passed on Thursday with 798. Please find out answers by yourself. I had most of the questions from the dump. For the CAS array question, I chose Layer 4 and Layer7. Not sure if that is correct tho.

This means Layer 4 load balancer doesn't know anything about URLs and that can't be a part of the answer.
That being said I just failed today with 6xx, so I think the way to pass the test is not knowing what's the correct answer, but what is the answer Microsoft wants. The test seems to be a complete mess and looking for the right answer might not be the way to go. Maybe the PDF from @LionelMessi will help in my second try.

WNLB doesn't detect service outages. WNLB only detects server outages by IP address. This means if a particular Web service, such as Outlook Web App, fails, but the server is still functioning, WNLB won't detect the failure and will still route requests to that Client Access server. Manual intervention is required to remove the Client Access server experiencing the outage from the load balancing pool.

I've succeeded in uploading it to the 70-341 topic, it will take some time to be published. However, the uploaded file may get my nickname in its own name.
This is to clarify the case, I'm not the author of the file, just the uploader. :-)

@Ocean . You are correct. After reading it again and comparing it with a previous question it does make sense to use A.

Just read through the 11 new questions and also question 8 seems to be incorrect. The answer should be ACE instead of ABE.
Steps:
A. The certificate should be imported to Server 3.
C. The traffic to mail.contoso.com should be redirected to Server3 which will redirect legacy users to legacy servers.
E. Host (a) record legacy.contoso.com should be created for Server1. This will be used by Autodiscover and Client Access servers when redirecting legacy users to a legacy server.

NOT B or D. No new certificates are needed. The mailbox role has a new self-signed certificate and the the old third-party certificate will be used by the client access role.

You could also obtain the device ID's of two current mobile devices and use those for the accepted ones.

HOWEVER t his is normally set using the throtling policy, with answer A you associate a throttling policy to the user. The most common thing to do would be new-throttling policy and then set-thrttlingpolicyassociation cmdlet.

OK, I have just past this and a couple of comments

If you take these exams by simply recognising question and answer patterns, then you are going to struggle

MS have hardened the exams in a few important ways - more answer choices not the usual 4, choose "all that apply" instead of simply choose 2 or 3

And the Scenarios are self-contained - i.e. once you go to the next one you cannot review the answers

(also not all the question were in each scenario - i.e. the dump has 7 questions for prosware, the exam only had 4)

Most of the questions appear in dumps but M$ HAS change them slightly, so a SALES user becomes MARKETING user etc - again if you simply go by "patterns" you will struggle

And if you get 100% in these practice test then you will struggle too - as some answers are deffo wrong

it is not a two way trust imo - those TechNet articles are written from the perspective of an admin user in the Exchange (resource) forest needing perms in the accounts forests when creating a linked user

It's a consideration, but not needed.

If there is a trust from proseware to contoso, the admins in contoso can access the AD and Exchange organization proseware using there own account. Thats what the trust does.
If users in proseware have to access contoso, than we need contoso to trust proseware. Since the requirement is that new users in contoso will have a user account in contoso, but have a upn that ends with proseware.com, you need the upn suffix routing.

Or am I thinking completly wrong here?

There is no need for a 2 way trust considering linked mailboxes. A one way trust is fine, you need to do the upn suffix routing or it will not work.

hi guys. this might seem like an odd question, but do you know where i can get an ebook that covers this exam? (and the 342 for that matter) i normaly study the books and use these dumps as reference.

Passed today with 785 using this dump. On question regarding antispamagents.I chose mailbox role, not CAS. In question regarding DR, I chose create new DB on EX2, restore from backup, set-mailbox option. SO, yes this dump has incorrect answers but the questions are what you will see on the exam. I passed today with 700 exactly. 5 New Questions but most of the questions were from this dump and I scored 1000 on the practice so there must be some wrong answers. the problem with giving ADCE etc is that it seems obvious from people responses that MS are changing the answer order (i doubt whether all the "10 new questions" are correct tbh) i think it is more the case that a dump is simply learnt parrot fashion - and then the person gets confused by a re ordering of the answer choices
