I Did 410 test today.
I studied with this test and even though most of the questions werent on the test, some did. valid. good. thanks :)
@Jermaine
Since this is a copy of the Xaelian one with extra info added and some questions corrected (like Clith states in the beginning) and seeing that people still pass the exam using the Xaelian one I assume this one is still valild. Taking the exam tomorrow so I'll let you know if this one is valid.
Q.143 is A and D. I have set up WDS and DHCP on the same server and WDS sets the 060 PXE Client option in DHCP and it sets (Enables) the Do not listen on DHCP ports.
Just passed the exam with 984 points.
It was a total of 60 questions in 2 hours.
I had 12 new questions.
I advise you to study the books and articles next to the VCE's.
btw, when you djoin the domain, restart, etc, you can't login do domain because your domain credentials are not in cache. dumb as it gets ;). maybe a vpn to domain will help ;), anyway you must receive somehow the file to do the djoin.
remember this http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2549.txt , there are things more strange.
someone should try to do a djoin that way :P
Sid-
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj574150.aspx
That's not the way to do it. djoint lets Windows 7,2008R2,2012,8 join a domain where no network exists ( you're on the wild deep Africa ;) )
add-computer you need to have network to the PDC/RID server, etc
Just a note on djoin.exe vs add-computer cmdlet commands for an exam tip, Please feel free to correct me
But use djoin when using windows 2008 R2 and add-computer cmdlet when using server2012 that's how i decide the one to use in question type like that
G and Guy from South Africa-
q125 Yes it's DC4, the RID, without it we would not had unique security identifier.
Every domain in a forest must have a domain controller with the RID master FSMO role assigned to it.
Answer: D
q143- You're seems to be correct.
Answer: A,D
I will try to upload my vce question asap, I'm working on this
q125
answer D: DC4
the site mentioned by amoura says about RID:
Allocates active and standby RID pools to replica domain controllers in the same domain.
Must be online for newly promoted domain controllers to obtain a local RID pool that is required to advertise or when existing domain controllers have to update their current or standby RID pool allocation.
If you telling WDS not to listen then wouldn't it be "Enable Do Not Listen" as that will make it not listen while "Disable Do Not Listen" will make it listen?
@omura, is the answer for Q125:
C - DC3 (Windows Server 2008, Infrastructure Master)
or
D - DC4 (Windows Server 2012, RID master and global catalog)?
Q52
B. necessary to remove the default root hints files
C. install a root dot zone (.), this will do the B. step too
Q110
B. Allows Fault Tolerance
E. Allowing the creation of spaces that are larger than the underlying pool, additional drives can be added to the pool
-Dzha, check http://www.ibeast.com/content/tools/RaidCalc/RaidCalc.asp, not enought space for fixed provisioning.
Q125
C. DC3
Allocates active and standby RID pools to replica domain controllers in the same domain.
Must be online for newly promoted domain controllers to obtain a local RID pool that is required to advertise or when existing domain controllers have to update their current or standby RID pool allocation.

Q129
Answer: D
From Server Nanager
Access-based enumeration (ABE) displays only the files and folders that a user has permissions to access. Access-Based Enumeration (ABE) can be enabled at the Share properties through Server Manager.
Q143
A,E
Traditionally, only DHCP listened on port UDP 67, but now WDS also listens on port UDP 67
WDS and DHCP are installed on the same server: You must tell WDS not to listen on port UDP 67, leaving it available for DHCP traffic only. But then how does the client find the WDS server? You set option 60 in DHCP.
Q156
Same answer as Q52, Create a primary zone named ".", this will remove the root hints too
"Will it blend? LOL"
not shure on q 156. I think the answer should be B.
@G
Q110 - I agree, it should be BE. in real life both BE and BA would work.
Q52 - I agree with author. it should be BC. By adding '.' zone making this DNS server a top level and it will not be able to forward any requests by design.
Q125 - it should be answer D. you need RID master to join server/computer to a domain.
Q129 - Correct answer is D. You modify the properties of Home and enable access-based enumeration.
Q143 - correct answer is AE. you need to enable option 60 and Disable the DO not listen on DHCP ports option.
Otherwise this is one of the better dumps.
You are correct as some answers are wrong.
That question 110 is B, E.
Question 52 - Answers are: B - Remove all root hints and G - Create a stub zone named "root".
Question 125 about which DC should be online to promote a server to a domain controller, I'm not sure the answer is D.
Question 129 about ensuring all users see only their home folder when accessing home. Not sure the answer is D.
Question 143 - I'm not sure about.
Prerequisites:
A minimum of three physical drives, with at least 4 gigabytes (GB) capacity each, are required to create a storage pool in a Failover Cluster.
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/clustering/archive/2012/06/02/10314262.aspx
Current disks beeing deployed at question 111, attach four 500-GB disks to Server1
Question 111:
B. From File and Storage Services, create a storage pool that uses all four disks.
E. From File and Storage Services, create virtual disks by using thin provisioning.
Current answer talks about cluster.but at the question it never tells about and existing cluster. I suppose answer B and E are the correct answers on this.
What you think about this?
@ Guy
5 or so.
@Jonathan, how many new questions were there?
Very good exam. I got 810, but I forgot some of the answers that were in the exam
this is the Xaelian.169q.vce exam.
I've added extra links to technet articles.
Added some comments on answers.
Some answers have been corrected.
and finally i've changed some questions into "drag and drop" and "point and shoot".
I'm taking the exam next thursday.
good luck.
clith
I will try to pass exam. Thanks.
