Guys, When I wrote the exam previous saturday, for a few of the questions, the answer options itself were not working. Exam center support staff were helpless though I notified them. Can we raise an appeal at Microsoft? Any pointers would be helpful.

Failed with 665. Majority of the questions came from this dump, but answeres were different :( So please double check the answers with a valid source, before writing the exam

Valid dump! Passed with 745.

Failed with 696. A lot of IV6 Subnetting and routing questions. I would say around 10. About 15 questions were found in this dump

I think thats what he meant because in the file there's a different answer stated as being correct.

@miami think about what it is DNS does. The reason why "." works is because that is the top of the DNS tree. What your doing is telling DNS that nothing else exists. So if it doesn't have a zone there is nowhere else to go. I think creating "roor" just created a zone named root. So you could have A records like computername.root. Also I think there are a lot of wrong answers in these dumps, but having failed the exam I can say the questions are valid, just takes a little work.

I think this (primary named ".") is the right answer too. Someone tried it and got the same result: greys out forwarders and root hints.
But, why so many times the same wrong answer. Even, I find the same answer in many sites.
My question is, can I create a stub zone name "root"?? What is the effect??

@darknight, That's what he is saying you NEED to use set-adgroup. It actually says in the technet article on rename to use set to change samaccount.

@mike , why dont you just check the powershell command ?

There are a lot of questions (77,111,159,164,206,217,230) with the same introduction:
