Question 33 of shane, the option 'domain user' wasn't there, so I chose 'sql user without login'

with this dump you are able to pass, but be carefull and read well, because some questions names are different of formed differently (answer list still the same though)

Seriously.. is this the bases nowadays?? I have never seen so many conflicting answers on different VCE files, on all of the 2012 exams.. I learned the stuff but now I myself get confused of all of those different answerd. Is this VCE valid, so I can look the answers up and understand why these are the answers.. instead of wondering 'is this the correct answer'

I work in DBA servers already for years an hate exams.. so is is this valid??

@ 7thfreak so lame lame lame. even I help people out. I've worked in ICT for years now, and even I say a lot of questions are so full of crap. that even experienced people go insane answering them!

Is this still valid? some comments are vague, if so 80% for example is valid, did you pass, or didn't you. I only need to know if this is enough to pass??

Some new questions, some questions with more answers, some with different answers. So learn not only using this dump.

@chuck from UK: Page level compression includes row level compression, so this saves most storage space. Of course it needs more CPU to decompress.

Passed with score of 833. I marked all answers per this dump. I guess only 90% of answers are valid.

Q17 why is the answer page level. If you use row level that also enables page level compression so isn't it row level as only compressing the pages only uses page compression

This dump is good, but I have just finished the test and there are about 5 questions that do not have in the dump.

Passed the exam today. As I was studying for the exam, I found out some of the dump answers were incorrect. Also, there were a couple new questions too.

Got 900 on 6/29.

Lot of answers in this dump are incorrect, but easily solvable if you've worked on the technology.
I won't disclose which are incorrect because, well, where's the fun in that?

Passed today with 916. All questions were in this dump but some options in the answers are a little different.

Like in Q4, Exam D where the options were:

Perform a full database backup on SQL2005
Perform a transaction log backup on SQL2005
Perform a VSS backup on the database on SQL2005
Restore the VSS backup on SQL2012
Restore the database backup and transaction log backup on SQL 2012
Change the compatibility level for the database to 120 on SQL2012
Change the compatibility level for the database to 110 on SQL 2012

the option: Restore the full database backup on SQL2012 weren't there

so I think that with only three correct actions I chose:

Perform a VSS backup on the database on SQL2005
Restore the VSS backup on SQL2012
Change the compatibility level for the database to 110 on SQL 2012

Besides in the Q16, Exam D there were one more option:

CREATE DATABASE AUDIT SPECIFICATION C_AUDITSPEC
FOR SERVER AUDIT C_AUDIT
ADD (UPDATE On Sales.ProductPrices BY public)

ALTER DATABASE AUDIT SPECIFICATION C_AdutirSpec WITH (STATE=ON)

Here the correct answer includes a similar option of this but with BY dbo instead of BY public.This second option makes me confuse. But as in the question they say that the audit has to be write whenever data in the table is updated ( and not only when dbo executes this) I chose the option with the BY public but I don't know if it's correct.

pass today with 900. All 50 questions are in this dump but 5-6 question have some options different with the dump.

Questions are valid but answers may not be. I took the test last week 6-12-13 and passed with a 830. i also read the microsoft book before but dont have a server at home so you need a lot of hands on to get a 100 but the questions and book will get you at least prepared and familiar for jobs

I passed today with 766. Questions are valid. Answers maybe not. I had 4 new drag and drop questions.

I sat the exam a few days ago
There were 50 questions in Total (4-6 new questions)
I passed with 866
About 85% of the answers in the Practice Test were correct.

There's a new question about mirroring, and installing a service pack

I really don't know what's the use of not studying and just remembering the answers. I learn for myself not for the certificate. Certificate should just be the reward for hard studying.
I'm delaing with MS SQL since MS SQL 2000. I've learned so many things that are now not a part of MS SQL anymore, for examle Notifications Services.
I've done countless replication solutions.
Though every exam takes me about a month of studying as some questions are really detailed.
I hate the Administration exam cause in my heart I'm developer. Now, that all 3 exams are behind me, I've decided to look at this dump. There are many mistakes, some already mentioned, some not.
For example:

contained databases (what kind of user would you use). I would go for sql user without login.

you have a scheduled backup. At some point in time developer team decided to want a full backup. I would go for a copy_only option.

Having stored procedure to return viewer server state. I would go for a execute with owner and grant permission to view server state to the owner.

etc..

If the drive with tempdb fails - shouldn't it be single user mode?
sqlserv -m is considered single user mode and I assume you would use this so you can actually login.

Today I passed the test 850/1000

Also, the other I remember is question 25 in this exam, the answer is NOT "Domain User". That option isn't one of the answers presented for that question. In its place it had something like "user mapped to a virtual account".

Passed today (8++) with 1 new question about SQL Failover and upgrading of servers.

It really helps if you know your work well too guys. Don't just braindump this. Please.

This will help you pass if you study the questions and research your own answers. There's no point in just learning this parrot fashion; you might scrape through the exam but you'd be lucky to last ten minutes in a job interview.

.and that Policy one is definitely NOT LIKE. I went through the whole process on a 2012 server yesterday.

I failed the exam which 6xx, about 15 -> 18 new questions.And I'm not sure this dump correct or not. Becareful when you take the exam which dump. And should awaiting new update.

10% -20% of the answers are incorrect. you better master the questions and go to the exam as there are new answers.

When exporting using Import/Export wizard the question specifies that the first row of the file should contain data. Therefore the Column Names box should be left unchecked.

sp_who will give details of a blocking process, the DMV won't.

Hi This exam is the same as PeterPan, but I changed the wrong questions to the correct answer. And made the exam into sections as well. If you stud this exam you will pass.
