there were loads of new questions on RDS, WDS, AD FS, AD RMS that never seen them before, did not get any dns, dhcp, sharepoint or IP. there were about 3 directaccess questions and i could not answer them.
It's tricky because each exam i had had different sets of questions but there were some repeat and those repeat questions are the one that is not in these dumps nore in any books.


I have read most of the topices from MS training kits I wondered if these dumps are vaild.

Any suggestions please..!! I just can not a foard another fail attempt.

There lots of WSUS, Terminal Services, IIS, AD FS, RODC, NAP, VPN, DirectAccess, Performance Monitoring Hyper-V, Load Balancing, Windows Activation.

I got hardly any questions on certificates, DNS, Server Core and Group Policy.

I got no questions on IP addressing, Subnetting, IPv6, Sharepoint, Windows Media Services.

If I was to do this exam again, I would study the latest questions from the individual exams 70-640, 70-642, 70-643.

Passed yesterday, stressful exam. first two sections are fine in TahirObaid but third section has lots of new questions that aren't anywhere, you need to know the subject well to answer those questions. NPS and DirectAccess specially, Used Microsoft book, lab, cbt nuggets + online training videos, skidi+ tahirobaid + jerry +other 71q. Know NPS, server core and Directaccess, Good Luck

I failed using this dump. I got 880/ 606 / 850. There were lots of directaccess questions that are not contained in this dump.
Ive since been using dmp4certs 70-642 220q and all the questions I got wrong are present.
My advice is to learn the individual module dumps if you want to ensure a pass.

Or if that seems daunting, learn tahirobaid and dmp4certs 70-642 and you should be fine. My retake is thursday so ill post whether I passed 2nd time. Thanks

Just took the test in The Netherlands, passed with 940/700/887.

I prepared the same as Kanagawa_Cowyboy below (Tahir, Alexander), and in addition to that I viewed the entire 70-649 CBT Nugget (which was OK for general info, but pretty much useless as exam preparation in my opinion). I experienced the same as Kanagawa_Cowboy. Also approximately 13 new questions, not in Tahir/Alexander.

Lot of DirectAccess, ADFS. Also no IP or SharePoint questions.

Advice: When studying, do a lot of Googling about the areas you have little experience in. Just studying the dumps in my opinion is not sufficient.

Just took the exam tonight in Yokohama, Japan, and would like to share my experience. (by the way I'm VPN'ed into the US right now, if that's how they determine location). This was my 27th MS exam since 1997.

Passed with 887/970/940 by studying primarily TahirObaid.299 and Alex.71. I breezed through Jerry, but didn't absorb much. The exam sections had a total of 13 questions not found in Tahir / Alex (5 of 20, 5 of 19, 3 of 9). A couple people posted that Jerry's was useless, but I specifically remember seeing a couple from his exam that were not in Tahir / Alex, and wished that I recalled the answers.

Anyway it didn't matter. Many of the "new" questions were very similar to what's found in Tahir / Alex. Other than that, you should be able to get by on common sense. (these dumps might only be 60-75% on the money, but IMO if you can't make up that extra 10% on your own then you have no business hanging this cert on your wall.

But, these dumps are not really that great. I concentrated on TahirObaid.299q TahirObaid 585q. I used them as study guides and did my own research. As far as correctness goes they were pretty good. But the first two exams I took only about half of the questions were in the dumps. I spent a lot of time making educated guesses. The last one was more on the money.

If I'd not studied the content in the two dumps, then I would have failed easily. So I would say their main value is as a guide as to what topics you need to be across.

There was a new question about how you might limit a users FTP account to no more than 500mb, whilst not affecting another user. Options were FGT filter, FTP settings, disk quota and File Server Resource Manager quotas

No media services, no SharePoint, no .net permission levels, only 1 question on HyperV.

I took my second shot today and past it! I hope you all pass this test on your first try. Here is my story.

I took 649 on June 30 and failed. I studied only 1/3 or Jerry.370 so it was not enough. Network: 820, Applications: 653, AD: 646.

I scheduled it for today and studied the whole Jerry.370 this time but as mentioned on other posts, noticed that it has a lot of duplicates and even conflicting answers!
Today while at work I read "What from United States"s post and downloaded TahirObaid.299q. I only studied 1/3 of Exam C and believe me it saved my test!
Network: 880, Applications: 760, AD: 812.

so my suggestion is to listen "What from United States".

Also I did not have any SharePoint or Streaming Media Services Server or IP questions.

Ok, took the test (850/887/880) and decided to leave my feedback here so I may be able to help others. There were a lot of Qs from Tahirobaids which should be number one to study. Second is Alexandr, which also includes many Qs from Tahirobaids. I have also went through Jerry 370q but I think is a complete waste of time, since it has many Qs from the ones I have mentioned before and the ones that were unique were not on the test. There is one more that no one seems to mention is skidi 342q. My test had 2 Q about SNMP and skidi was the only one who actually mentioned those. There is one problem with them though. Skidi's answers contradict some (about 4 questions) with Tahirobaids and Alexandr. But Skidi got one thing on his side is that he includes explanations and screenshots, so when I saw a question were I went with Skidi's answer. I want to mention another thing that really shocked me, I have not had a single question that asks about IP (IPv4 or IPv6) in any form. I mean no # hosts, # subnets, Route command. I do not recall any question that had any IP in it. Odd I know, but a fact. There were many RD questions, but if you taken Tahirobaid you would already know that. So here is my 2 cents, good luck to everyone I couldn't have done it with out you.

Passed 70-649 today in Sofia. This is one of the most stressful exam I ever took. As you already know, it's comprised from 3 parts.

My score: Active Directory 880; Network Infrastructure 925 and Application Infrastructure configuring 910.

Used TahirObaid, Jeryy and Bob certdumps. Most of the exam questions are included. There are about 10 new questions in the exam, but not something very difficult.

First exam had only about 5 of 25 question from the dumps 20 new Q's (Active Directory and in depth questions on server roles, services and features), the remaining two sections had over 80% questions from the dumps.

The sections that are not covered in the dumps and there are a lot of questions about this are: IPv6, SSTP, Windows 7 and Win2008 R2 new features, troubleshooting the new connection methods such as VPN and Direct Access (about 8 new questions on direct access). the exam does not cover simple things like how to install, how to do simple configurations, it's more about whats changed between 2003 and 2008 R2 (LOTS of focus is on the new features)

As you all know there were 3 sections. The questions in sections for Directory Services and Applications were all from this .vce. So it is 100% valid for these sections. This Questions in Germany are not vaild.Yesterday in my exam are 20% from the questions from this dump vaild.

I did the exam yesterday. As you all know there were 3 sections. The questions in sections for Directory Services and Applications were all from this .vce. So it is 100% valid for these sections. Tha last section, networking, had a lot of new questions. Only about 30% of the questions are in this .vce. I also studied the recent 70-42 vce exam files. When you do the same you will also pass ;-)

Took two days ago in UK and passed (890/1000). Each part with 25 questions, your finall score=the lowest score (not average of 3 parts). I would say this dump (75% valid) plus some general knowledge should be enough to pass. The most new questions are from RRSA and NPS/NAS (in second part).

Guys, I am busy studying from the next exam so I will not be checking this board for the next couple days. The only explination that I have is the 1st section must have a number of non-graded experimentail euqestions. The 2nd and 3rd sections were 100% on the 299q ThairOrbid .vce. I went through the other .vce files and I HAVE NOT SEEN the questions that I got on the 1st section in any of the .vce files. The hardest part of the test is the 70-640 exam. I would study that one individually (find a .vce) and then use this for the other 2 sections. It is not easy, but if you have this .vce down and then study for the 70-640 you should be fine. The experimental questions were all PowerShell commands running on a CORE 2008 server. I totally guessed on 11 of them so they must not have been graded.

Hello - Retook this test today and still got 71 questions. The entire first section was brand new.. There were 25 questions on that section and I totally guessed at 11 of them. The 2nd and 3rd parts of the test are 100% valid on this .vce file. I did not find a .vce file that is updated to reflect the questions that I saw on the 1st part today. I am in the USA. I passed with a 790/850/932 on the 3 sections. I can say that they changed the test questions I got 24 hours later! I passed and and see my below post for the questions I got. They were similar on sections 2 and 3.

I also took this over the weekend. I had a lot of Direct Access questions that were not on here as well as Hyper-V questions. I was able to score over 900 on the other two parts but only scored 640 on the application part. Also all of the questions were updated to reflect server 2008 r2 in the questions. I haven't found anything updated as of yet.

is the B exam the one based off the 70-642? Do you think studying the VCE on the 640, 642 and 643 would be better?

I took the test today in the USA. The test is (3) parts that are independent. I was give a total of 71 questions. You have to score above 700 on all 3 sections or you don't pass. I scored high in 2 of the 3 sections and a 645 in the middle section. This .vce is somewhat valid. I would say 75%. There are questions that are not showing on any of the .vce's that I have seen. New questions have to do with DirectAccess and figuring out if you are connected, also a lot of IIS and HyperV questions.

First question I came across in Exam A has the wrong answer! Be wary.

Question is about Remote Desktop connections to App1 having the same IP address. You need to ensure that all connections receive a unique IP.

A. Reconcile the DHCP Scope
B. Change the properties of the DHCP scope
C. Change the Remote Desktop licensing settings
D. Change the mode for Remote Desktop IP Virtualization

The real answer is D. The file suggests it is B.

It is D because the server hosts one program and Remote Desktop IP Virtualization can be configured per program or per process. If it is on 'per program' you will only get one IP address for all connections.

I passed in india with 775 marks. This dump is partially valid, only 65% of questions are from the dump. So better study additionally from the book or if u have practical experiance also it's good before appering the exam.
