Dump is not %100 percent valid any longer. In addition, MS has totally changed the look of the test. Passed today with 800. A lot of new questions! 45 ques & 2 case studies. Really suprised I passed, now MCSE Private Cloud. Good luck 2U all.
Any update for the dump ?
Forgot to mention the name of the new study case: FABRIKAM. So, we have NorthWindTraders and Fabrikam cases, several 2012 R2 mixed questions. I don't know if they have more new cases. I found the questions in the Fabrikam case much more difficult (many many questions asking you to pick 4 out of X choices and then sort them in sequence).
Took the exam again. I had prepared the answers for 6 of the new 2012 R2 questions. Unfortunately this time I had 10 new R2 Q's out the 24. Only 2 were the same as in the previous try. Then, an old case, and then, the nail in the coffin, another brand new case based on R2... Killer, I think I could not manage to answer a single one right. 636 points though... so sad... Will not try again until I see a new brain dump.
Can you please upload a new Dump
Not entirely valid anymore. In my exam there was one NEW case (NorthwindTraders) with 9 questions, all based in SC 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2). Then there was the old Contoso case (12 questions). Finally, 24 mixed questions, and 8 of them were brand new System Center 2012 R2 questions as well. I failed with 678 points!
Yes i am right with "Josh", 45 questions with 2 case study (24+10+11), but more than 25 are new questions , so failed with 525 and also many worng answers ..
failed 524 - lots of new questions (R2 version) and a brand new case study (northwinders)
Fail my exam : New case study + many new questions....
Cleared with 700+ , Many answers were wrong from this dump. I remember all 50 questions.
I have cleared the exam with 800+ and I got all the QA from this dump(india)but some answers are wrong. please correct the answers It may help others.
Regards
Senthil Blre-India
This one is still valid! Passed this morning in The Netherlands with a score of 831. Only 3 new questions. Lots of succes to you all!
VTEST, I think your answer is wrong because
that link you put it is Applies To: Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2
but, case study is windows2008R2
Passed exam & scored above 850. All questions from dump but some had additional options/answers.
Hi Vtest, ... by the way, I agree to your comments regarding Contoso Q11, Proseware Q10 & Proseware Q11 (upgrade flowchart: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/systemcenter/hh204731)
Hello Vtest, I think "Litware, Q6" is correct with "C - VMM update remediation".
Reason: CAU is a new feature of Server 2012 but according to case study Litware has only servers 2008 R2.
Hello , passed with dump , 8/9 new Q , all bout Azure. Scored above 850
Case Study Litware, Q6 answer is wrong.
Correct answer is "A" - Cluster aware updating.
The requirement is that Virtual Machines hosted on Hyped-V failover clusters must remain available while Windows Updates are being applied. Cluster aware updating is specifically designed to meet this requirement.

Valid dump passed yesterdar 756, some are worng
Case Study Proseware Q11 answer is wrong.
The correct answer is from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh241291.aspx:
- Deploy a SCOM 2007 R2 secondary
mgt. server on Server 2008 R2 SP1
- Change primary mgt. server of agents
- Upgrade secondary mgt. server
DublinSQ1 is Server 2008 SP2 x64 running SQL 2008 SP2 x64. This meets the requirements for SCOM 2012 Ops Db and Reporting DB.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj656649.aspx
Therefore no need to "Upgrade DublinSQL1 to Server 2008 R2 and SQL 2008 R2" so this is not part of the answer.
Note that this would be a requirement for SCOM 2012 R2, but we are not being asked to upgrade to SCOM 2012 R2.
DublinOM1 is x86. SCOM 2012 requires x64 Mgt Server. It is not possible to upgrade from x86 to x64 which means "Upgrade DublinOM1 to SCOM 2012" is not part of the answer.
One of the requirements is that existing data must be retained so "Perform a new installation of SCOM 2012 on Server 2008 R2 SP1" does not meet this requirement.
Case Study Proseware Q10 answer is wrong.
There should be no need for the iSCSI Initiator on each Virtual Machine (VM). It is very rare to present iSCSI storage directly to a VM and this is not mentioned in the case study. This eliminates answer "C".
According to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh758184.aspx you must install the Hyper-V role on the DPM server. DPM protects Hyper-V virtual machines even without the role, but you cannot perform item-level recovery (ILR) unless the role is installed.
Item Level Recovery is one of the requirements - "Administrators must be able to restore individual files..." This eliminates answer "A".
Finally the second part of the requirement is to "restore individual files from host backups...". This would indicate that there is no requirement for a DPM agent on the individual VMs.
So the correct answer is "D"
- Install the Hyper-V server role on DPM
- Configure iSCSI on DPM only
- Install DPM agent on Hyper-V hosts only
Installing the DPM agent on each VM would be required if DPM itself was installed on a VM. The reason for this is that you can't install the Hyper-V role inside a virtual guest due to lack of VT/AMD-V capability inside the VM.
Hello Betty and Helen, thank you both for the good and hard work, passed this day and that is all that counts, there were a few new ones, but almost all the answers had been moved around and some even reworded, I had to be very careful and was, I take my Hat off and salute Helen and Betty. Come on people, get your heads out of where ever it might be and start breathing oxygen, that will work miracles, one can think clearly of all things. Contoso, Q5 => "Virtual Machine Paths" is the correct answer (with green color) forget all else. Be blessed and why not?
Case Study Contoso Q11 answer is wrong.
One of the requirements is to store all VMs on the SAN only.
iSCSI Target software is installed on a server in order to make it appear as a SAN on the network, so this is not part of the answer.
Correct answer should be:
1) Configure the iSCSI initiator - this allows to hosts to connect to the iSCSI SAN
2) Allocate storage to a host group - this is done from the SAN management console
3) Assign the storage to hosts and clusters - this is done from Disk Management and Failover Cluster management on the Hyper-V hosts
Case Study: Contoso, Q5
What is the right answer?
In the Answer area first the "Virtual Machine Paths" is marked as the correct answer (with green color), but under that in a smaller screenshot the "Placement" is marked, now with red color.
Now which one is the correct?
Thanks!
This one was made from HELEN's. Trey Research question #7 was fixed. Mixed Questions were centralized in a single group. Removed one question regarding SQL servers that no answer was able to found for. Also, I sat for this exam twice and it was not in there so I believe it is safe to not need it.
