What microsoft is doing is downgrading the Enterprise Server 2008 MCITP to MCSA. The exams still test for the same level of skill. The trick is to convince your potential employers that is still all good. Plus Microsoft forces you to update to 2012 to get a MCITP

Failed the 70-640 test today. I had maybe 3 questions that were valid from this dump. literally 70% of my test was repeated answer questions where you have A-J to choose from. Microsoft is obviously trying to combat dumps in general. Even if I knew the material 110%, I can't take a test which has 11 possible answers to each question. It's not how my brain works. We were taught at a young age on multiple choice tests to isolate the wrong answers and choose the best from the remaining. Not very easy to do when there are 12 answers. thanks Microsoft. Way to make your test way harder than it needs to be, only to promote the technologies no one uses in real life.

Either answer would be correct - "AD Users and Groups" or the "AD Admin Center" will allow you to assign users to groups,etc, and that's what the question is asking. Certificate Templates allows you to *assign* permissions such as Read, Write, Full, but you do not add groups that way

took the test yesterday failed with a 605 cause it was too late in the day and i didnt take my time with the questions just rushed through it. take your time get an understanding for the answers not just memorize. had a couple reworded ones otherwise about 2-3 new questions the rest was all questions out of this dump.

The Microsoft.Testinexam.70-640.v2013-03-07.by.dw.469q.vce was spot on for this exam which I took today 4/30/13. I studied the vce, did the CBT Nugget hands-on but still failed. Why? IMO, I failed to study this vce enough as I studied it for 5 days in a row. I thought I had this test in the bag.

Guess what? I just got my ass handed to me on a silver platter. Anyone using this vce, please senp no less than 7 days in a row and you will pass this test. Please do not count on your memory. My memory is great. There were no simulation on the test. The first 12 question were all about AD Utitilities, AD FRS Certificates. The next 10 questions were twisted, toss about and serveed upside down and side ways all at the same time as they were about consoto.contoso.com. You can memorize and/or know the answers but, if you fail to to know why the correct answers are correct, you will get slammed with the practically the same questions thrown at you side ways.

Lat but not least..do spend more than 7 days studying this vce as it was spot-on. Well, maybe 1 -2 new questions.

It's valid. I passed last week with a 800+ score. All questions were on the dump, answers are in different order. No sims for me. Obviously some wrong answers in there as well, but if you are scoring high on this VCE, you should have no problem.

One of the new questions was about how to determine whether the global catalog installed on a server (don't remember the exact question sorry) I remember two of the answers that are Nltest and Dcdiag, donno if one of them the correct answer.

Took the exam today and passed with a 700. The VCE is valid. I saw about 47 questions of the 50 on the exam from the VCE. The test was heavy on DNS and certificate services. I only had two simulations, both were drag and drop, exactly like the VCE. I do think the VCE has sever incorrect answers, but I don't know which questions are wrong.

Dump is valid in the US. Passed this weekend with a 746. But you do have to study it very hard. I went through the whole thing probably 3-4 times and read the notes included. There were probably 4-5 questions that I saw in the dump, but forgot the correct answer to.

Took and passed exam today with 746/1000. There are 50 questions in my exam and most of them are in this dump. In order to pass, you have to study very hard. Don't just memorize the answer but try to understand the question and the answer itself. Most of the question are the same but the answer are in different order. There's a lot of wrong answer in this dump but you will surely pass if you really study together with your other materials. There are 2 to 4 new question in my exam. 80% valid in the Philippines. I passed the exam today. I got 45 questions from this dump but scored just enough, 700. Answers in this dump are not necessarily wrong, but there are in many cases more ways to accomplish the task and sometime it is hard to tell what is Microsoft's reasoning for picking, considered by them, the right one.

Dump is valid, wrote the exam today 19th in SA. Narrowly passed the exam, score 700, clearly some answers in the dump are wrong, but should be enough to pass. 3 or 4 new questions

hi every body, i have passed the test this day, there is 40 questions form the dump, but i guess that the answers are wrong, i got 792.

This dump is probably mostly wrong as I had about 40 questions from it but just barely passed with 723. I still appreciate the help I did get from it but if the questions can just be corrected, I would say it is pretty accurate in the questions that you will see on the test. I took it 4/4/2013.

Used this dump and took exam yesterday 4/2, passed with 743 however a lot of new questions so even if you got everyone one from this dump right you would still barely pass.

@Jos I'm using Visual Cert Manager on my laptop and VCE Mobile on my iPad/iPhone to take the tests.

Also I'm not sure how the MS pulls from the pool but most of my questions were about AD FS, RMS, OCSP Responder etc.. I only had 2 about RODC (one was a Administrators Password Replication and the other was RODC installation in a Windows 2003 Forest environment question). Or at least that's the best I can remember.

Just did the exam (624), hadn't used any dumps. I thought I was pretty set and it was going so well until qns 40-50 which were all on which snap-ins to use for certs..ADCS was my weak point..I would say based on my rough tallying while in the exam, bulk of qns are on DNS/RODC/ADCS..be sure to study these chapters!!
My question now is, are all of you guys opening these files using Visual Cert, or is there some other way to view them/convert to pdf?

@shazbot I wouldn't worry about it. I talked to a guy that was testing with me to see what he got (we both studied this dump and took the test together). He said he got pretty much all of the same Active Directory Federation Service questions, the Enterprise Certificate questions, and the user modification (csvde, ldifde, dsrm, etc.. ) all from this dump.

When I asked him which domains he got primarily it was about half contoso and about half adatum, but he said out of 50 questions roughly 35 came directly from this dump. He did say that they reworded a few of them and got the same rewording of the Online Responder questions as I did.

Took test today. About 15-20 of the test questions were from this dump, the others were pretty different not only in the type of question, but the way it was asked.

Overall the dump is still pretty valid, although it seems MS has introduced a slew of new questions, although most of the ones I got concerning the domain names were ad.adatum.com rather than contoso.com

I have a book MCTS 70-640 by Don Poulton, that has almost the exact Q, in a mini quiz.
"Which tool should you use to add a user or group with admin access to the RODC after you've completed installing the RODC."

His answer is also DSMGMT.
"ADUC enables you to manage users, groups, computers but does not allow you to delegate admin control of an RODC"

@Andrew. Apparently you can do this both ways, but Microsoft recommends one way over the other. This is taken from TechNet

"Modify the Managed By tab of the RODC account properties in the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in. You can click Change to change which security principal is the delegated RODC administrator. You can choose only one security principal. Specify a security group rather than an individual user so you can control RODC administration permissions most efficiently. This method changes the managedBy attribute of the computer object that corresponds to the RODC to the SID of the security principal that you specify. This is the recommended way to specify the delegated RODC administrator account because the information is stored in AD DS, where it can be centrally managed by domain administrators.

Using ntdsutil or dsmgmt to specify the delegated RODC administrator account is not recommended because the information is stored only locally on the RODC. Therefore, when you use ntdsutil local roles to delegate an administrator for the RODC, the account that you specify does not appear on the Managed By tab of the RODC account properties. As a result, using the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in or a similar tool will not reveal that the RODC has a delegated administrator."

Well, this seems to be a replica of the Venomous v2 dump. According to the Testinexam site their dump has 265 questions. This one has 469, like Venomous v2. Plus it contains all my explanations.

All information has been removed from the description page of the dump, and several times the text "www.Test-inexam.com" has been inserted. Basically, that's it.

I don't mind people using my dump at all. I encourage people to take my dump and improve it! Make it better! I just don't like it when the same dump is posted with no change, disguised as something new. That's not improving, that's just lazy copying with no benefit for anybody. Plus it confuses people.
